I stopped by for lunch and ate in the dining room. This location has an ordering kiosk as well as an available cashier to take your order. I arrived at the start of the noon time rush on a Friday. I placed my order at the kiosk and waited a few minutes. The drink machine is the Coke machine where you can customize what is dispensed. The Dave's Double that I ordered was perfect and reminded me of how they tasted back in the 1990s. The fries were hot and fresh. The restaurant was very clean. This Wendy's on South Willow Street is not good at all. It's drive thru only here and the lobby has been closed for over a year. As a result, especially during lunch, dinner, and late nights, the drive thru queue can back up onto Driving Park Rd. Even if the queue is shorter, they are still very slow getting orders ready. They claim they are shorthanded here. Prepaid orders from Wendy's Mobile App customers, GrubHub and DoorDash delivery drivers have to suffer through the long waits in drive thru and Wendy's does not start making their orders until they arrive, making them wait longer than necessary and putting their customer ratings in jeopardy all because this store can't get their act together. They should open the lobby for prepaid pickup orders only for Wendy's Mobile App customers, GrubHub, and DoorDash delivery drivers. Also, they do not like delivery drivers here. At least, the Hooksett and Lowell MA locations open their lobbies to customers during the day, though they should keep the lobby open late night too. Also, I was here for breakfast pickup not too long ago and ordered a Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit, but they forgot the chicken patty and realized they only gave me only a Honey Butter Biscuit by the time I got home. Truly awful. First of all the service here? Terrible. I ordered on the app to pick up through the drive through. I got there and a very rude toned girl asked "what do you want" I simply responded in a kind voice I was picking up an order which I made sure to put on the app through the drive though. She goes "it's inside you have to come in" I then stated I put drive through and she said "I dont care you have to come in." So I did. Went to Wendy's today to get food with the family. We ordered are food online so we could pick it up when we got there. We waited 30 before we decided to go ask on a status of the food. Which the manager comes up with a attitude and say o yes right here then litterally throws the bag at us. This is ridiculous and un acceptable. We got the best service from the staff. They were all super friendly. Extremely clean. Food was delicious. Compared to the Second Street location this is the one to go to if you eating in Manchester. I don't understand how the same franchisee owns both stores. It's like night and day. read more

I've been going here for a while, because it is very close to my place of work. Also because i enjoy the food. The issue is, every time I go there in the past year they mess up my order. Wether it be by not adding ingredients, giving my something else, or not giving me things at all. Not only does it ruin my meal, but it is robbing me of a meal I PAID for! Each time we go to this Wendy's location there is always an issue. Either something is missing and we have to go back or they run out of selections on the menu. When you are charged for extra sour cream and multiple different times are not given them it gets annoying. It's simple things that should not be overlooked by a fast food restaurant. Tried the new item the pretzel bacon double cheeseburger. It was not very good. The "pretzel" roll was dry and had little or no pretzel flavor. The roll was too hard for my taste, I prefer a softer bun for my hamburgers. The sandwich itself was also very dry and not to my liking. Given that it's a big city the rating given was a poor representation for this location. The staff are very understanding and apologetic when it comes to mistakes. Everyone is human and I understand that. They however made it right for me for a recent visit when I got someone else's order because they took off from the drive through. Every time I go through drive through they always mess up on my order. Either I am over charged, they didn't give me all the food I paid for, or they didn't add items I ordered. The order takers at drive through and inside can barely speak English. When I catch them messing up on my orders they get angry and become very rude.
