Twice within a week, I just wanted a sour cream/chives baked potato--- both times, I wasn't told they were out of sour cream until I already paid and rec'd my potatoes. First I'll say that Wendy's has the best tasting burgers out there. I stopped yesterday at the Wendy's on S. Eisenhower Blvd, Middletown, PA I always go to. My last visit there was about 3 months ago. This time......the burgers were just thrown together and disgusting to look at. Second, I ordered a baked potato with chili and cheese. I got one 3 months ago and it was perfect. This one was exactly 1/2 the size of their normal baked potato. They use the same containers for the potatoes and this little thing looked so lonely in there. It was very tasty, yes, but NO CHILI !!!! ...... and about 1 tablespoon of cheese, and was still charged the regular price of their normal item of $4.49. Pathetic!!! The food is all tasty but now they are really taking advantage of their loyal customers. Decent Wendy's. Wendy's tries to separate themselves from their competition and in a way, they are slightly better than McDonalds and Burger King. The food was ok, though the fries were more bland than good. Staff was ok. There are limited booths inside, though there are enough tables and chairs. Some customers inside were a little strange. There's a Holiday Inn in the same vicinity as this place, so that might explain the weird customers. Overall a decent option in the area considering the other fast food options are Taco Bell, Dominos, and McDonalds. read more

Don't know if it's just me or what but just stopped at this wendys 1/2 hour after they open. Don't businesses clean at night when they close no more. Tables were sticky. Floors were filthy. They took 10-15 mins just to get my order I work at a fast food restaurant it takes 1-3 mins for drive thru and 3-6 mins for dinning in my fast drive they is 2 mins and my dinning in time is 3 mins not 10-15 min Or 15-20. I actually had been going to this location often. I usually order the same exact thing every time I go and my order is wrong at least half the time. The cashiers are always busy having side conversations, and often no one is paying attention. You can see the frustration on managements face when you enter this Wendy's location. I can barely recommend going here for a quick bite and I would def steer away during busy hours as that is the true test to every restaurant and this one fails miserably. read more

I went through drive through. Got cold fries and a sandwich that didn't have the bacon. The lettuce was spoiled. I went back in for fries not knowing the sandwich was bad. I have been eating here very often for the past 6 years and only have had about 3 subpar experiences and always at the drive thru at this location. But as with just about everywhere nowadays most days are better than others. Staff is constantly changing but almost always friendly. Food is almost always hot and fresh. Another thing good about this location is how close to the PA Turnpike interchange it is. Only feet away. The only real complaint about this location and it's not Wendy's fault. Is the goofy intersection going in and out of it and there are giant tire busting potholes in the travel lanes of the intersection of state owned roads. So be aware. read more

Tonight, after waiting for about 10 minutes in quite the long line to have our order taken, we were told that we had to go through the drive through because the dining room was closed. Ok, this has to be the worst Wendys in the Central Pa. area. After numerous attempts to eat items from here (we live close by) my wife and I have decided to never go there again. I dont know why the management of the place is so poor but the orders are wrong more than 50 percent of the time and the food does not seem cooked well. Very rarely are the french fries any good.
