They take forever to make or take your orders, it's 7:00 pm restaurant is dead inside, yet just focusing on drive thru orders while the costumer inside waits an average of 15 minutes to take order and receive their order. After attending coachella music festival we drove back home to long beach the same night . We tried to make the trip without eating on the drive but we got hungry around Moreno Valley and saw a Wendy's sign while on the fwy . It was a bit difficult to locate the Wendy's and actually had to go through about two shopping centers to find it but we ended up finding the drive thru . Once we were ready to order I ordered the double hamburger combo and my girl wanted the spicy chicken sandwich but the employee said they were out of spicy chicken . We were a bit Disapointed but they had the home style chicken sandwich available so she ordered that . Upon reaching the window the attendant tells us it will be about 5 minutes wait for the sand which So they can make it fresh and we agreed to wait . Once we got the order he tells us he put a large fries and gave us a large soda because we had to wait and they didn't have what we originally wanted . The food was very fresh and cooked right . Now the thing I notice that every Wendy's has in common is their super fast drive thru service. I swear, they get you in and out with your food before you have time to fart. Well I'm usually rummaging around in my purse trying to get out my debit card as I pull up to the window to pay and get my food. This Wendy's didn't disappoint with the speedy service, but good lord, can you get at least half my my damn order correct? I ordered their new fangled asiago chicken.. club.. ranch samich or whatever the hell its called... and of course the person taking my order stays silent while they listen to me make an ass of myself trying to remember the name of their damn samich. I tell them I want a diet coke, and they ask me again to confirm that I did indeed say diet... I also ordered a side of chicken nuggets and they ask "spicy or regular". I say regular.. which sounds nothing like spicy right? I mean they don't even rhyme or start with the same letter. Well when I got my order... I decided to try a nugget cuz I was fricken hungry.. and as I start chewing, I notice the damn nugget is spicy.. bastards. So I take a sip of my diet coke to wash it all down and then realize... its full calorie coke. The one person at the register did not take my order for 10 mins after he took someone else's order. On Friday June 10th, I ordered via the mobile app for carry out at 9:35pm. When I arrived at this place the doors were locked. I managed to get someone's attention and I told them I ordered thru the mobile app for carry out. They told me their hours have changed and the inside is closed at 9. I told them the app says otherwise, but they refused to help me any further and told me to go thru the drive thru. Even tho I already paid for carry out! I went back to my car upset trying to somehow cancel my order or get a refund since they wouldn't assist me. Then an employee came out at 9:40pm with a bag of food and a drink. I got out of my car thinking they saw my food and knew the mistake on their end. But then I realized she was leaving. After that I went back into my car and she started laughing at me and telling me to, and I quote, "Fuck you! Go Fuck yourself!" Over and over again as she drove off. I have never at any establishment been so disrespected by and infuriated at. I wish I could give this place a negative 5 out of 5. I just came back from Wendy's October 7,2018 about 12:25. My order came out to $7.10 give the guy 8 dollars and he give me back 3 pennies change and gave me a suspicious look. Like he is trying to get away with something. I just drove off because 90 cents isn't a big deal to me and if someone really wants to steal it then they must really need it. LIES. Don't even get me started on the drink, I asked for the tropical berry and the gave me strawberry lemonade. As a person that once worked at Wendy's, I knew what their strawberry lemonade looked like and I told her it looked like strawberry lemonade and she continuously be reassured me it was the tropical berry which I ordered LIES. Let me tell you about my unbelievably horrible experience tonight. How is it even possible to wait in a drive thru for 25-30 minutes???? When I got to the window to pay it became incredibly clear why the drive thru line was moving sooooo slow. I ordered a salad with grilled chicken and get to the window to pay after waiting for eternity and the girl at the window says my total. Not really hearing her, I handed her my card, she ran my card and then gave me my receipt. She then starts handing me a drink and I get confused. I let her know the drink was not mine because I only ordered a salad. She looked confused too. I pull out my receipt and notice I was charged $31 so I know right away I was charged for the wrong order. She then walks away without saying anything but I assumed she was seeking help. A manger comes over to help and tells me they will use me a refund. He then also mentions that they are out of grilled chicken. At this point I'm not only annoyed that I waited for ever, but also annoyed that they seem to have no communication skills. (Side note: as I'm waiting at the window I overheard another worker say that they have also run out of Coke.) So it's appearing more and more obvious that they're really struggling to get through the night. Anyways, I tell them to give me regular chicken and the manager comes back to say that they forgot to run my card again for the salad after they refunded me for the incorrect meal. This definitely rubbed me the wrong way because I was expecting that after the extremely long wait and hassles that they caused they would atleast be courteous enough to give me a salad on the house. As a manager in customer service myself, this is always how I make things right with customers, especially when something is not their fault.
