I have eaten at this location on Moreno Beach drive probably 10 times in the past 12 months and they screw up my order at least 30% of the time if not more. I just placed a mobile order 15 mins before i got to the drive thru to pick it up. Not only was it not ready like the app said it would be, I kid you not, she asked me to pull around and go through the drive thru and wait in there ridiculously slow and long line FOR A SECOND TIME. I have never in my life been told by a "fast" food place that to go through a drive thru a second time, that is literally insane! According to this location, a military discount on a $44 order is $1.50. And even less for a senior discount. [Not]Nice to see personnel incapable of correcting this minor of an [machine]error, or that their incapable of computing the correct amount apart from an obvious machine error. I even went so far as to share with them the correct answer and their response was "well, you can call the number in your receipt"! WTF!!!!! I made a mobile order at 11:39 am and was told my order would be completed at 12:00 pm for pick up. I got there about 11:54 am and I know I am a little early. I see they have only one cashier already assisting someone and I'm like no big deal I can wait. Another patron comes in, looks like a mobile order, decides she doesn't want to wait and goes directly to where we pick up the food. Now, I know what she is doing, but I've already waited and it's 12:07 pm at this point. The cashier finishes with the patron in front of me and tells the other patron 'I'll be right with you' oblivious of me waiting here already. I thought maybe she said 'I'll be right with you' so she could ask and see what I needed. But she didn't. At this point, the cashier is already assisting with the other patron and I rush over and tell her 'hey I'm a mobile order too' and she said give me a moment. No problem, I waited and then when she finally helped me it's 12:17 pm and she was like 'here you go.' Not even asking my name and it's someone else's order. I tell her excuse me this isn't what I ordered. Finally, she asks my name and I say Patrick and she looks everywhere for my order. Now I do see a bag on top of the counter already packed sitting there and she said nope I don't have it. She tells her manager she can't find my order and maybe it's on the back computer or whatever. The manager goes 'what time did you order?' And I replied just after 11:30 and her cashier says to me well you're just going to have to wait. And at this point, I was irritated. The cook notices me waiting and he said have you been helped? I said yes I'm waiting for a mobile pick up it said it's done at 12 and at this point, it's 12:24 and he goes oh here it is. The bag that I first noticed. And I didn't want to cause a scene but I just wanted to tell her cashier. Next time, could you ask if other customers in line are mobile pick up instead of assuming I'm ordering. It's not like there is something written 'Mobile pick up here.' I have been going to El Pollo at this location since it's open because I love the food; I've always liked it since I was a kid. But when I told the cashier my advice, the manager finally steps in and says come over here I will help you. And I tell her that I already been helped. I just wanted her worker to understand the problem here because this uneventful experience will happen to someone else. And all the manager could say is 'sorry she is new.' I wasn't looking for the manager's apology. I just wanted to prevent this bad experience from happening to someone else. I feel undervalued as a customer.
