I had to create a Yelp account for the first time just to report on this incident. If I could leave a 0 star review, I'd do so in a heartbeat. Me and my family came to this Wendy's location at around 9:00 PM on August 2nd. We had just left from church not long ago and we were feeling hungry since we hadn't ate dinner that night. We decided to go for Wendy's because we haven't ate there in a long time, and I wish we hadn't. The line at the drive-thru was egregiously long and took much longer to serve, but by the time we arrived to the front of the line, they had already given us our food, taken our payment and let us off in a minute. I ordered a regular burger meal, my mom and dad ordered chicken sandwich meals. By the time we got home, my dad took a bite from his chicken burger and found it was raw in the dead-center. We asked him if he swallowed any of the chicken when he was first eating it, he said the first bite only but after that, he spit out the parts that he tasted were raw. Our bags didn't include a receipt - whether that was done on purpose to dodge responsibility or to frame us for "purposefully swapping out their chicken for a raw patty", I'm not sure. But we weren't taking the bait -- after we found out about the raw patty, we took the burger with us and returned to the restaurant to complain and demand refunds. Turns out, we weren't the only ones who returned over a raw patty. There were countless other people who came inside of the restaurant to complain about having received a raw burger -- beef, chicken -- and demanded the employees at the register for refunds. One of the cooks in the kitchen area made the excuse that "the grills weren't working right." Apparently, that was a good enough excuse to serve people raw burgers. A manager came out and announced to everyone that nobody was getting a refund unless they had receipts, but over half of the people who returned to complain said they never received a receipt, however had bank statements proving they purchased a meal here that night. Still, refunds were refused. We'll likely be filing a lawsuit against the chain soon. Having employees who gleefully send us raw burgers instead of taking their precious time to cook our meals is an incredibly despicable move, and could have killed anyone who wasn't aware that their burgers weren't cooked fully. We won't be returning here until this chain location gets their act together, fixes their machines or re-trains their employees -- or replaces them. read more

I have been eating here since 1992. Make sure every time you order the baked potatoes you check your order before leaving the drive-thru. I think Wendy's is typically above average for fast food, but last night's visit left a lot to be desired. Came in, wasn't acknowledged, and after being acknowledged, the manager told her employee to serve the drive through and that she'd get it. After close to a minute later, she came up, took my order, and left during my transaction to fill other orders. After waiting for about a minute and a half longer to get the cup for my drink I ordered, she finally grabbed it after taking care of another drive thru order, stopped halfway through to have a conversation with an employee, and then handed it over without much acknowledgment. I understand that things get busy and corporations often have unrealistic expectations about how fast certain orders (especially drive thru orders) should be completed. I do, however, think near immediate acknowledgement and sticking around an extra 5 seconds for something like handing over a large cup, are some bare essentials of service mostly anywhere. Got my order fast (cool!), but it was the wrong wrap I ordered. Oh well. The employees at the counter tend to be nice here, and the soda machine where you can get just about any combination of flavors is a nice touch. They're even playing some pretty smooth jazz (completely with acoustic bass solo) right now, which is neat. But this trip didn't do it for me. read more

2 stars just because... It's been a consistent running joke between my friends and I since we got the college munchies since about 1998 or so how often they screwed up our order. So I went in the other day and I'm waiting in line behind someone ordering.. nothing unusual about that. There were no less than 6 employees standing around talking, laughing and doing everything but working. Only one person at the register and the customer they were helping clearly needed lots of help getting their order completed. The others were oblivious to this and let the line build up. The only reason they have business is they are the only Wendy's in the area... that's my belief. This is not one where the team works like a team to provide a good or even great experience. Not sure why they have the TV above the fire place. They haven't even taken the time to adjust the resolution so the picture displays correctly. I mean who would do such a thing in a fast food restaurant? :) To summarize, normal Wendy's food... bad customer service. Whoever is managing this store seems to have missed the customer service training at this or any other modern business.
