The salmon burger was so nice I had to do it twice‼ I ended up back in Napa again on Monday (Memorial Day), so before I headed back I decided to stop by to make sure what I experienced on Saturday wasn't a fluke, a one-off. Well this time I added a little more protein to the salmon burger with not only the bacon; I went big before I went home and had them add the egg also. Can I tell you that it didn't disappoint...okay okay IT DIDN'T DISAPPOINT‼ That burger was so AH'MAY'ZING...I sat there and ate every single bite of it. My only ask for the next time I go will be for them to cut it in half for me, or request a knife. The salmon burger is EVERYTHING‼ Don't ever take it off the menu...you definitely have a good thing going; especially for those of us who need a beef substitute. I'm usually a total purist when it comes to veggie burgers. Give me the homemade, hippie style patty over anything overly processed any day. But this place? Completely wrecked my standards in the best way possible. Their veggie burger is hands down my favorite burger in Napa. I genuinely find myself randomly thinking about it and practically drooling. And for the meat eaters: my husband is a full on burger aficionado and he's equally obsessed with their regular burgers. I've had some amazing smash burgers and this one was decent (maybe great for the area?) but wouldn't be what brought me back in a "must have again". I'd probably lean more to a 3.5 rating personally. The Highs: This was a convenient place to order food while we were wine tasting outside next door at the Housely (Tamara Mowry) winery. The burgers were juicy and delicious and they came out pretty quick. The Lows: Everything is a la carte so if you want fries with your burger, you've gotta order that separately. It's a little bit pricey but not too bad. It was also pretty packed inside and I'm not a big fan of dogs inside of restaurants but to each their own. The In-Between: While doing a tasting next door, I noticed the sign outside for their specials. The spot we were in was out of all their appetizers, so I was pleasantly surprised when our server agreed to let us order food from here to enjoy while we taste. I went inside and ordered. The gave me a number and brought the burgers out pretty quickly. 2 of us had and really enjoyed the Impossible burger. It was really tasty and flavorful. One of us had the Double Royal. She enjoyed it as well and felt like she would have been full with just the single royal instead. We'd do this again for sure. read more

Really just a solid burger here in Napa, it's made in the smash burger style, it's juicy and has some creaminess from the American cheese. Perfect lunch between wine tasting. Service was quick we ordered our burger and they were out in under 10 mins. Butters burgers is located inside Armastice brewing, they also share a patio with the Housley tasting room. The counter to order burgers is located in the far corner of this bar. They have a small menu posted above the counter but it might not always be up to date which was the case for us. We heard about their Pastrami Burger which wasn't posted but we did make sure to order that along with the loaded fries which turned out to come with a burger pattie. The portions were huge. Saltier than I'm used to for burgers, especially the pastrami one. But it was a fun experience. I ordered the Single Royale, and my boyfriend got the Double. The highlight, without a doubt, was the quality of the meat itself. The patties were juicy, flavorful, and cooked to absolute perfection. However, despite the perfectly cooked protein, the burger as a whole didn't deliver that transcendent "wow" factor we were anticipating. It was a very good, well-executed burger, but it didn't quite reach the heights of "best ever." It's worth noting that we tried to add bacon to both of our burgers but were told they were out. We were left wondering if that element was the missing component needed to elevate the Royale from good to truly great. On the other hand, the French fries were spectacular. Perfectly crispy and golden on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and seasoned with just the right amount of salt. I've been enjoying butters burgers food for probably nine months. They first were a food truck that visited Clinton St. and I had their Korean chicken sandwich which was phenomenal for about 15 bucks. Well worth it. They make a good burger and this is my latest enjoyable food treat the grilled cheese sandwich. They now have their own residence inside Art brewery on Clinton Street and a perfect compliment to your beer and yeah highly recommend all their food is incredible. I went here yesterday for the first time and I really loved the burger. I've been told the fries are very good and they're very special. I see that they have a selection of beers that people here seem to enjoy. I didn't have one because I was on my lunch break from work. I would like to try the tater tots too because they look awesome and I love tater tots. I will be back here to try more things.
