After getting my taste buds on a super duper burger, I think about these burgers in the slow parts of my day and wish to be reunited with them. I make the 30 minute drive to Super Duper because this is the closest location and I'd rather not settle for a mediocre burger. This is the burger I want when I'm craving one. I ordered the double patty super burger with bacon, aged cheddar cheese, and avocado. The burger is always so juicy and delicious and the best bites of the burger is the end where all the juice is sitting. The house made pickles are so amazing, I always grab a plate of them, they are self serve next to the fountain drinks. I also discovered these cute little burger pockets that help catch the juices next to the fountain drinks so I grabbed those and my super duper burger fit in it perfectly. I was trying to get some ketchup and it was coming out a little slow so I accidentally poured out some mustard from the fountain next to it. For some reason, I have never tried the mustard here before and that has been my biggest mistake! The mustard is house made as well as the ketchup and they are the best condiments I have ever tasted. I have honestly never been excited about ketchup and mustard as much as this one really wakes up your taste buds and adds so much tangy flavor from a prominent vinegar taste that it has that makes it feel fresh! I had fries at a fancy restaurant a couple days later that came with basic ketchup and I found myself missing Super Duper's Ketchup!! My boyfriend tried the chicken sandwich and it was so crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside! He enjoyed it! Don't sleep on super duper burger when you're near one!! read more

Note to self - ONLY get regular fries, NOT garlic fries. Super Duper was my 5 star burger place. I used to rank them as high as In N Out Burgers. Quality/Quantity - We are going to lunch at La Cheve Bakery and Brew, so only got a soft serve today. Atmosphere - Decent size location if you include the outdoor space. Plenty of indoor seating, table seating, and counter seating. Open 7 days a week. Plenty of mall parking. Service - Self kiosk service when you enter. Two kiosks available. Self service drinks. Self service everything/counter service, if that means anything. Plenty of employees everywhere. The manager was visible. Price - $7; expensive, but that is the cost for quality. I'm comparing this place to the one in Emeryville, which pales in comparison. Emeryville SDB is a lot better run, and they do a fantastic job with the burgers, fries and the pickles. The fries came out like frozen fried in old oil, and were just warm. I asked for fresh fries, which took 10-15 minutes to get and still were terrible. The pickle jar had a few pieces of pickles in it and they tasted old. They weren't replenishing them. The burgers were not that great. Nothing we had was worth the price you pay. I think the management of this particular SDB isn't as good at the one in Emeryville. I won't be going here again. I'd rather give my business to Gott's in Napa. Gott's seems to be far more consistent between their restaurants SDP has been hit and miss. There's no consistency between their restaurants. Wow, great burger and garlic fries are perfectly seasoned. You order from a kiosk and they will announce your name when finished or send a text. Very clean and nice looking interior. The reason for the 3 stars is because I was the only customer in the place at 11:30am and there appeared to be an owner/ manager and maybe wife or assistant in the shop. They did not once acknowledge me, say "hello, what brings you in, first time trying our burgers" I mean absolutely not one word. The server did call my name and mentioned the "ketchup and mustard is over there" Manager spent his time looking out the window as if hoping for more customers. Place has lots of potential as the burgers and fries are great. They need to learn something about their customers. Maybe even walk the food out to their customer when it's not busy. read more

Stopped by here for a quick lunch while visiting Napa. we got one super burger to share and decided to try the fried chicken sando which was a collaboration with San Francisco's chicken sandwich spot, "the Bird". We got it spicy, and heavily regret it because it was so spicy and messy to eat. It was also over shined by the burger being delicious. I would compare the burger to something like Shake Shack, but the beef patties were better. We also got a garlic fries to share, which was mediocre. I'd probably just get the regular fries next time. I hate when I have to pay extra for sauces other than ketchup as well, so that knocked a point off for me. When you arrive, they have video screens right by the door to order your food, you don't have to speak to anyone. They call your name quickly enough or order at the counter the old-fashioned way. Just finished watching Inside out 2 today and I was craving some burgers so here I am. I've been to their location in the Veranda on numerous occasions so I thought why not give this one a shot. I ordered the cookies and cream shake and the super burger with 2 patties and with bacon add on. The shake was really creamy and addicting. It was really difficult not to finish it right away. The burger was juicy and well seasoned. As for the service, the workers here are very nice. When you order your food here, you have the option of ordering at the two kiosks in the front or directly. This restaurant is located in Bel Aire Plaza which has at lot of shopping stores and parking available. All in all great food, great service, great atmosphere. I found Super Duper Burgers on Yelp when looking for a malt. The description of the ground beef was so appealing, I decided to buy one. I usually like my burgers simple, dill pickles and mustard only. I was greeted immediately upon walking in, which is always appreciated. The restaurant dining area and counter were clean and bright. I didn't notice the kiosks until after the person behind the counter had taken my order. I first verified they did not offer onion rings. If they had, I wouldn't have ordered a burger. I accepted the offer of cheese and was told that mustard and pickles were on another counter. Food came out quick, but the malt was delivered first. It had a unique feature- some dry malt sprinkled on top. Not sure why I found that so joyous, but I did! I checked out the condiment station and realized the pickles were labeled as home made. Sitting on the counter in jars, a set of tongs were stored in a stainless container for selecting. I sampled one and found it had a very quick sweetness that was immediately replaced by a fantastic tartness and spicy flavor that lingered. A wonderful taste experience! The pickles were not cut in any ordinary shape, it almost looked like they had been hacked at haphazardly without concern for any sense of regularity. But with the amazing flavor, I didn't care. The burger was super juicy (or greasy) and the cheese appeared to be real cheddar. It was perfectly cooked. I had planned to eat it on the road, but couldn't stop eating it before I left the parking lot. The chocolate malt was right up there with some of the best I've had. We went to SF Giants game on Saturday and I noticed a Super Duper Burgers sign. I usually have a dog at the game, gonna have to switch that up on our next one. While there is some serious big name burger competition in Napa, SDB is a contender for sure! read more

I wasn't going to complain about a cone until I read through some recent yelp reviews and saw it's has been and is still an ongoing issue. This was only my second time at super duper, the first time I got food and it was fine. Today I went in because I was craving a sweet treat, I was originally planning on going to Yo Belle but the soft soft looked too good to pass up. I wish I had went with my original plan- the cone was extremely small for a "regular" I had to ask if it was a regular or a kids and the employee confirmed it was a regular, I was clearly disappointed but nothing was offered besides a cup to hold the mess of a cone in my hand. It was nice in flavor but $7.50 for a small ice cream cone is craaaaaazy. I know we're in Napa and we're expected to pay Napa prices but this is a fast food joint! read more

After buying some gifts in Napa we wanted something quick, yet yummy. I was feeling burgers, so I went to Yelp, and what do I find??? They have Super Duper near by! We usually go to another place for burgers, but I'm glad I checked Yelp to see other options. We haven't had Super Duper Burgers for a while, so when I found out it was close by, it was a no brainer. This location is in a plaza with a Whole Foods and Target. Parking wasn't too bad, but the spots were a bit narrow. I don't understand why they don't make parking a bit wider, lots of people drive SUVs nowadays. Anyways, this location had 3 Kiosks to order. I like to order from Kiosks so I can see what kind of options they have that I would have never thought of. I didn't even know they had a Secret Menu! Granted, I didn't order anything from there because I was craving their regular Super Duper Burger. But next time, I am definitely getting something off their Secret Menu. From my picture you'll see a "Founders Favorite" burger, that has a Beef Patty AND their Veggie Patty. I found that kind of funny haha. We decided to eat there before making the drive back to Sac. First things first after securing a table, is getting some of their house made pickles! Also a must when going to a Super Duper. While eating pickles, our buzzer buzzed and we got our burgers.
