Food is always old, they never get the order right, and we are always missing something. After reading some of the other reviews on this location about service and speed I was concerned. This location however is just too convenient to the other shopping locations that I figured what the heck I'll just show up and grab a quick bite and head home. Not sure if they were having issues, but the drive through was wrapped around the building so I went inside. They had stopped taking counter orders too so we just kind of stood in line and watched the chaos ensue. I had no issues with the food or my order when it finally arrived, but there's got to be some organizational/tech/staff issues that need to be ironed out. I have never experienced a slower drive-thru than at the Narcoosee Rd/Lake Nona Wendy's. I have been there about a dozen times, and it's always the same. It's slow even when the front end of the restaurant isn't busy. I'm sitting in the drive-thru line right now, and the poor guy in front of me looks baffled, as if he is wondering if the talkbox is broken. No, sir, you're at the Lake Nona Wendy's...settle in, put on the radio, and try to forget your hunger. All that aside, when I eventually get to the window, the people working there are always very friendly and courteous, and they are great about remembering straws and napkins. Congratulations to Wendy's on Narcoossee. This will be my first Yelp review post! As I write this review, my stomach is absolutely sick upside down. Wendy's on Narcoossee by Walmart always has been terrible with their drive-thru service but dealt with it just like the others here in Lake Nona. Unfortunately, tonight's situation given to us about 30mins ago is absolutely wrong on a whole other level. Raw chicken sandwich. This is one of the worst Wendy's I've been to from an operational aspect. The staff seems to be poorly trained and on at least 4 ocasions both soda machine has been out of coke and various other syrups. Not really sure why I keep coming back here- I guess the proximity to my home? Let me start by saying that my food has been fine and my orders correct when I've come here, but the wait times are unacceptable! If you come anytime near dinner time be prepared to wait...a while. I've tried going inside to avoid the long line of drive thru cars- SAME LONG LINE AND WAIT. Not sure why their logistics are so off- I suppose they need some time management assistance. Worst customer service. Placed an order, told me that they had to put nuggets on the fryer and asked me to pull forward. After a long wait, I went inside and asked about the order; they had forgot to put the nuggets in the fryer. They apologized and told me that they were going to take care of it. I went there a few days ago to get some chicken nuggets. The cashier was wearing gloves and she took my payment. With the same gloves on, she went and grabbed the chicken nuggets and put them inside the bag (no food tongs). I didnt accept the nuggets and told her they were contaminated. I'm kind of jealous of the other good reviews, because I've been to this Wendy's a couple of times and have received horrible service each visit. The staff seem lazy, standing against the counters, not really eager to work and get the orders correct. They got my order wrong each time, and it wasn't difficult or special. Not only did they get my order wrong, but most people dining in had to return something. I waited an extra 5 minutes for a chicken to cook, when that 5 minutes was up they forgot about it. When I brought it to their attention, they made it, but then had to wait for fries to cook. So, this is the only fast food place right now, on this side of Lake Nona, but I will be going out of my way to go somewhere else. read more
