Lake Nona has certainly grown since I moved to the Orlando, Florida area back in 2001. Back then, it was little more than a traffic signal in the middle of nowhere and now it is a busy and definitely a viable part of the Orlando, Florida area. With that growth comes the inevitable restaurants and today I stopped in the Chipotle Mexican Grill here in Lake Nona. Chipotle Mexican Grill is my go-to when it comes th fast food. It has a welcoming ambiance, the staff is usually friendly and the food is not only good, but relatively healthy, especially when compared to those international fast food burger chains. I normally order a burrito bowl and I do switch up the proteins, but I would have to say that I probably get the steak or chicken the most (or sometimes I get half chicken and half steak). Lately, I have also been having the carnitas (pork) quite a bit. All in all, Chipotle is a great option if you are looking for a fast food option. read more

Chipotle should be an easy, consistent choice -- and the food itself is usually fine -- but there's literally always something wrong at this location. Today's issue? The fountain drink machine was down, and when we asked for drinks from the back, they were visibly still being stocked. Not ideal. Other visits haven't been much better. They've been out of guac, and on another day, completely out of chicken, steak, and guac... yet stayed open. We walked out that time because what's even left to order? Small things add up too: * The trash cans are so tiny they don't even fit the kids' meal boxes. * The chips are almost always off -- overly salted, stale, or today, straight-up burnt. I don't even know why we keep coming back at this point. The food is mostly consistent, but the overall experience? Pretty disappointing. read more

This is no different than any other chipotle but I did want to write this review because last night was a bad experience. I got there with my preorder when it was my pick up time and when I got there there was a huge crowd of people at the pickup counter. No one looked at me, or even acknowledged that I was there. They were way backed up, probably because the pick up time wasn't staggered. I waited there for a full 20 mins after my pickup time. To be fair, this wasn't the employees fault, it was clearly that the app probably let too many orders through with short pick up times. I could've jumped in the regular line and made my way through twice by the time I finally got my order. The ambiance was bleak, with too many people crowding around the pick up counter. They definitely need a better system if they're going to handle that many orders. When I went home, I was still excited to bite into my burrito despite the in store experience, but the rice and steak were stale, and you could tell it was not fresh. Stopped in at Chipotle today for a chicken bowel salad today. The service was quick and pleasant but a blow to my budget. Customer be aware there is an up charge on the dressings for your salad. You get two at no charge, anymore than that is a $1 plus and you don't get a full cup of the dressing. read more

You have your average Chipotle and this one is amongst those, the food and atmosphere and everything else you think of when it comes to Chipotle is basically the same here but the staff is definitely what helps keep me coming back to this location (that and it's the closest one to me). The food is always fresh and when I go I go with my usual chicken burrito. The amount of rice and beans they put in the burrito is always generous however I can always go for more protein. The other toppings are always fresh and the salsa I get always has the right amount of zing to it! The prices are good (same as every other Chipotle) and the chips are always fresh when I buy them. The interior is always clean and I never have trouble finding a table that was cleaned almost as soon as the previous customer has left the table. Good food even though the price has gone up over the past few years. Always get the chicken bowl and the seasoning is really good on the chicken. Also their chips are delicious, although very salty. Even though guacamole is extra I still highly recommend getting it as it's delicious to dip the chips into! Suggestion for manager/owner: please don't accept any Uber eats /door dash etc. if the order is going to be incomplete and unacceptable. Ordered a burrito/ salad bowl (total 38 $ + tip for my amazing driver ) and received no chicken or steak on any of they order? No note or apologies, or substitute?! Now I understand you close at 11 pm Sunday and the order was placed at 955 pm. It's definitely a late order on my end hence 3 stars and not 1. It's a great surprise ordering food for my family after a long Day and not getting what was paid for. Ofcourse Zero accountability and likely the overworked/ underplayed employee did not care at all since the shift was almost over. Worst location ever! This place has gone downhill over the last year. They NEVER have guacamole and their excuses have been " we have it in the morning, we ran out" and "the avocados aren't ripe enough" When you order online give them at least an hour to make it. How many awful reviews will it take for someone in Chipotle Corporate to notice that this location is a train wreck? A while back they were rationing rice and would not even let me PAY for more. I received a canned response from the manager when I sent an email about the issue. They now begrudgingly give me more when asked. The latest episode of "How Bad is this Chipotle?" continued this week when I went to pick up a burrito for myself and a kids meal for my grandson. While I understand it's a kids meal, there were literally 5 chips in the bag which is totally unacceptable (see photos below). They were also overcooked and he said they tasted awful. Customer Service at this location is some of the worst anywhere. Employees seem to not give a damn about customers. That all starts and ends with the manager. I realize these are challenging times for employers, but good grief someone needs to straighten this place out. read more

Absolutely horrible quality. I have ordered mobile order multiple times and received wrong orders on occasion but tonight's takes the cake. I received a wrong order, an extremely small portion, gummy rice, missing corn, and molded/rotted lettuce. The audacity that this was edible is beyond me. The second order was missing corn and salsa, the meat was dry, and the rice was again very gummy. I have never received food so horrible. I waited twenty minutes past my scheduled pick up time for it to be thrown away almost immediately for risk of illness. Do not eat here! I place and order thru the app and when I arrive at my pickup time there are 10 people waiting for pickup orders. Placed an order online for a pick up at 7:40 so that I could pick up on my way to work since I work night shift 8:30 pm -9 am. Order wasn't ready since they were busy I understand but my order wasn't ready until 8:03 I order a salad with 1/2 steak and carnitas, salad lettuce, extra fajitas, extra mild and extra hot, sour cream and cheese when I went to open my bowl it was light as a feather. There was about theee leafs of lettuce. No extra fajitas and no tomato's. Very disappointed on the order and how little of food I got. Just disappointed. This is my third time at the lake Nona location as I just moved here and it's sad to say I will no longer eat here because of the issues I keep encountering. There was a young girl completing what looked like mobile orders when I arrived at 10:30 pm. I was the only customer in the store. I was waiting for her to finish her orders so that she could help me. She noticed I had been waiting a while so she asked Josh to help me. He told her no, but came up to the front and started wiping down the counter. He kept wiping the counters and walking around like he refused to help me. He looked at me and I stared right at him to let him know I caught his drift. The young girl took so long that I took a seat to wait patiently on her. She kept apologizing for the wait. I told her not to apologize and that she did the right thing. She called Josh over to help me but he refused. I told her I caught that and that we both agreed that it was not right. I told her you know we always stop cleaning to help a customer. She agreed. But after about 15 minutes of waiting . . . a young hispanic male comes in to place his order. And guess what? Josh picks up a bowl to help him. I didn't make a scene or confront him about his behavior. I confirmed it with the girl that was helping me and she agreed that she saw what I experienced - and that was discrimination. This store has got to do better with the two stars it's receiving and many complaints. Who's allowing it to get this bad? Every time. EVERY SINGLE TIME I come here the chips are stale to the point of being inedible. I've given this spot so many chances (because, well, it's the only one) but there has to be some line drawn. I am begging the employees to stop serving the most stale, definitely "fried the day before" chips known to man. Quite literally begging. I work a lot so chipotle is basically my only quick source of "fresh" food. Employees, I know you all must understand how much it hurts to not only waste money, but the feeling of your "after work" meal. I tried this location a year ago and it was bad. I thought I'd give it another try tonight and never again. Leadership is desperately needed. The front was full of teenagers throwing attitude to customers, fighting with each other and pushing each around rather than waiting on customers or cleaning tables. I had to walk out. Every time i have gotten food from this location i haven't enjoyed it. If you order for pick up they put barely anything in your bowl. Today i came in to order and i got a bowl with carnitas. the worker had to dig into the container of carnitas which was practically all liquid. she put it on my rice and it sogged up my whole bowl. carnitas are my go to at chipotle so i know when it doesn't look right. It looks like it was very old meat, the coloring was off. the overall quality of the food here is so bad. I would recommend going to a different location. read more

I am giving this place 1 star because I can't give them a lower score. Every single time I come the costumer service is horrible. My husband and I always order guac but we weren't gonna order any because we saw that there wasn't any until we saw a worker putting one on a bowl he was prepping after us. We ask for a side of guac and they told us they didn't have any so we said the worker was putting some on a bowl behind us. The worker said it was only for online orders. So we told them that there should be a sign that says online orders only for guac or that there is no guac in store. The problem is not that there is not guac is the way the workers handle the situation. Extremely rude, lack of manners and they don't seek to help the costumers at all. I typically love Chipotle, even with the off days, but you can slash this one off my list. When they first opened I didn't notice any problems but boy did things take a quick turn for the worse. Food quality is pretty much forgotten here now, the employees clearly don't care and give the most half effort attempt to complete your order down the line. Some you almost want to reach out to check the pulse on them. Its bad enough in person but if you order online, I have never, not once, had anything go right. Location has some serious issues all around now and at this point, I'm definitely thinking it is the management.
