Two beyond "chicken" small entrees with lo mein ($9.32 each)
Rachel S.

It's a fast food chain so the food will taste like it. I was happy to hear this location had the beyond orange chicken, and I had a BOGO coupon code, so a perfect opportunity to try it. I got two of the small entrees with the beyond chicken and lo mein ($9.32 each because of the beyond up charge). Food was ready on time, warm, and there were no issues with pick up. The beyond chicken was actually phenomenal and addicting, but the lo mein was much too oily for me and I could barely finish it. The portion size was much smaller than I expected though, and it ended up being just one meal. There is not a lot of volume of food, but the grease can make it seem more filling. Overall, I really liked the plant based protein (except the upcharge) and might try a larger plate option and different base like rice or veggies.

Orange chicken, teriyaki chicken, 1/2 super greens and 1/2 fried rice
David H.

Panda Express offers quick, tasty Chinese-American food with generous portions. The orange chicken is a staple. Service is decent, but they had to make a new batch of their popular items. The interior design looks good.

Worst Panda Express by far . Waiting and waiting for broccoli beef and egg rolls and orange chicken over 20 minutes all so I can come home with one of my sides missing . These kids are taking orders and just putting the boxes to the side and then they get jammed with orders and food . So ridiculous so disappointing..... had to tell the guy to put beef in my broccoli beef because he was only giving me vegetables . No duck sauce no fortune cookies .

This is beer not liquor.

Tenicia is mad rude, she said I'm not allowed to drink liquor inside so I'd have to leave but I was never in posse of any liquor. I don't know how she got a management position but in my opinion she should be stripped from it. More importantly she forgot the teriyaki sauce for my chicken on the Uber order, after calling in and confirming that we'd need extra considering our last order didn't have any sauce at all. I love panda but I'm sad to see that this location has gone down over the years.

Yes! Yes! Yes! The panda has arrived in Lake Nona! I can't tell you how excited my kids were to find out that we have one of the best crappy Chinese food places coming to Lake Nona. Keep in mind when Jeff talks about crappy Chinese food it's a good feeling! If you ever lived in the city or order Chinese takeout then U2 are a lover of crappy Chinese food. And when it comes to crappy Chinese food panda express is the king. No don't let my prologue for this review give you the wrong impression of my piggy to panda. It's good I'm giving it five stars! Because why? Because panda isn't actually that bad as long as the food is turned over regularly for example it's fresh! Fresh! Like a just made it. When they just made it it's delicious if it's gotten saw you sitting in the chafing dish for the last three hours then no it's going to suck I can help assure you of that. Better express is located in the new Lake Nona plaza that is home of Lowes, Sam's, Walmart, TJ Maxx, Petsmart, and just about anything else that is in this exploding area. Oh by the way... Whichever person at panda decided to place a restaurant here is probably going to get a huge bonus for their most insane sales of a panda ever. The place has been busy every time a bit biased, but upon entering I have been dumbfounded it out unbelievably fast this delicious food comes out. Hence fast food...fresh. Yeah yeah yeah... So I lost 100 pounds and I feel like to eat crappy Chinese food. Suggestion just don't eat it all and you will put on 100 pounds well, most likely well but if you do enjoy some of that Beijing beef! Final note, and expressed past Jeff's bathroom Jack. Clean well-stocked and available... Last but not least let me make a note on the decor. Check out my pictures, you'll find a rather progressive and modern design to be inside a panda. This is of course the work of Tavistock development group which makes everyone step up their building. See my review for Chili's more on that. OK OK... One additional final final point. My wife is not a fan of crappy Chinese food like Jeff and the kids are But she did pause halfway through our meal and say I have to tell you and I hate to admit it but this is actually pretty tasty and I am surprised. There you have it from the words of a non-crappy Chinese food lover this crap is it crap it's pretty good. Enjoy and welcome to Lake Nona!

Service great

The xiao long bao (soup dumplings) are so good; but so was everything else. Prices are moderate, but well worth every penny. The setting is great, feels Asian but is quite comfortable for most Americans. The service was the only area that wasn't great. I'm giving them a pass because of the time of day we visited. The team was friendly and ready to help but had to be waved down when we needed things. Bottom line... we will return when we're in the area again!

We waited 15 more minutes (20 minutes from being seated) and we flagged down a server to take our order. Another party got tired of waiting and just left. The restaurant was only 30% full so there was no excuse for this. However the food came out in about 12 minutes after ordering which is not bad. The food was delicious! We got the house knife cut noodles, pan fried Peking duck buns, and the bok choy with garlic. Everything was excellent. The noodles were so tasty with the beef being the best. The boiled egg is a little odd but it was still good. The Peking duck buns were so good! I am convinced that the only reason this place is still in business is because the food is so good that it offsets the terrible service If you have a lot of time and don't mind waiting for your food. I definitely recommend trying this place. Other people had better luck with the service but I saw at least one other person say that the service was bad. The food is 5 star but the service is 2 star so I gave it a 4 overall.

The food did come out quick however, and funny enough, the appetizer came out last. Skip out on the chicken and garlic appetizer for sure. Our table didn't like it so we sent it back. I'd say get the lomein noodles with spice because that was definitely the best thing we had there. In terms of the protein, the beef was good but had some mint pieces in there that were completely off putting. The shrimp was a bit too sweet and the chicken green peppers (not photographed) were decent as well.

One entree works for about 2-3 people. I tried 3 dishes. My only feedback is the Dan Dan Noodles were not close to what I expected. This is my go-dish at Sichuan restaurants and these didn't have the flavor or texture. To make mine taste more flavorful I relied on adding some sauce from my fish entree to this. I'll come back as this place has such tasty food. The seating is good too and it's a good location!

Besides that I really loved the chee cheong fun with xo sauce and the fried shrimp balls. Maybe because we went on a Monday they didn't do the dim sum carts which I love. But then again, the restaurant isn't too big so I feel like they usually don't do the carts. But this is a way to ensure all the food you're getting is fresh though! I do wish the dim sum menu was a little more varied. I feel like a few staples that I normally gravitate towards weren't there. But there was still enough to have a good filling meal.

The BBQ meat combo plates are also delicious. The roasted duck and crispy pork is also delicious here. As you can tell from my order they have delicious food. The food here is consistent with the taste and flavors and this is why Tasty Wok imo is ranked #1 in Cantonese chinese eats here in Orlando. Customer service here is ok, But its what the taste of the food that matters so you tend to brush it off LOL. You can request hot chili oil because they tend to forget that when you pick up take out. Also the duck sauce they supply when you order roasted duck is delicious on rice and to dip meats in. I usually request that to dip my ducks, crispy pork skin and char siu. These legends welcomed our whole crew with zero wait like it was just another Tuesday--talk about VIP service. Now let's talk food. First up, the tofu and veggie stir-fry--a glorious mix of crispy tofu cubes with perfectly sautéed broccoli, carrots, and bok choy in a savory brown sauce that hugged every bite like a warm hug from a Chinese grandma. The beef with broccoli? Tender, flavorful, and bathed in rich umami goodness. Honestly, if I could bottle that sauce, I'd put it on everything--maybe even my cereal (don't judge). The Honey Walnut Shrimp was love at first crunch. Perfectly crispy shrimp in a creamy, sweet glaze topped with candied walnuts and nestled on a bed of fresh steamed broccoli. This dish was the Beyoncé of the table--everyone wanted a piece. Those crispy, golden Shrimp Ball Fritters? Imagine a crunchy sea urchin made of joy. Light, airy, and addictive--basically the potato chip of appetizers. The pan-fried dumplings were thick, juicy, and had the perfect crispy sear. No sad, soggy dumplings here. Then came the crispy duck--dark, rich, and bursting with deep roasted flavor. It had that satisfying crunch you want, and the meat melted in your mouth. A must for meat lovers. But the real MVP? Those soup dumplings. Steamy little flavor bombs that explode in your mouth like a culinary fireworks show. Served in their own mini tins like royalty--juicy, delicate, and impossible to eat just one. The table went silent the second they landed. That's how you know it's real. With quick service, huge portions, and a menu that hits every craving from noodles to dumplings to sizzling plates of joy, Peter's Kitchen China Bistro was the unexpected gem we didn't know we needed. Cozy, authentic, and efficient--this place made our group dinner easy, delicious, and downright memorable.
