They will always screw up something in your order, especially on deliveries. No sour cream with the sour cream and chive baked potato (twice), 1/3 an order of chili, overcooked meat on the doubles but no cheese, which was ordered, on a bun instead of lettuce. Last year they said to come in to fix something that was missing, when I got there the window person denied anyone with the name I'd been given worked there and didn't want to give me the sandwich. I mean, the food is what it is. But this particular location delights in overcharging every time. When I ask at the window why a $5 meal is $7.50, they have no idea. But then I get the food and I see they have automatically super sized it every time. We ordered a chx Asiago ranch meal, 10 pc nugget, kids meal w chx nuggets, and baconator meal. They asked what sauce we wanted, clearly asked for barbecue and received none. My chx asiago had literally the tiniest piece of lettuce and sauce and no tomato! I never asked for no tomato. I haven't had a bad experience at this Wendy's, located at Academy Plaza.. The service is adequate and polite. I stop here when I need to go to Beneficial Bank. There is also a Rita's, Dunkin' Donuts, and an Acme in the plaza. There is plenty of parking. I'm a student at Archbishop Ryan high school after school I took a short ride to this Wendy and was so disgusted and irritated with the hostile behavior of the cashier "female" when walking into the establishment I saw her talking to students from the same school that I attend "2 teenage boys" after getting in line I realize her attitude was very poor and I couldn't understand why she was being so hostile with them she rolled her eyes and said what sandwich do you want... you don't know what sandwich you want?? Since I was familiar with the students and they were my peers I politely ask them if they were OK and if they wanted me to order first since they didn't know what they wanted they looked nervous and said no thank you... as I was backing off The cashier Open her mouth and dared to ask me what did I say to the boys at this point I'm ready to take her on to see what her problem is I told her she didn't need to be so aggressive with the teenage boys and she flipped out on me calling me names I politely ask her to keep it professional at her job and she refused to take my order I use the word refuse lightly just because she decided to walk away from the cash register to bag food and had me wait for about 11min until I finally decided to leave and go to Chick-fil-A where they know how to talk to people. The service inside this Wendy's is very sloooooooooow. Most people seem to know this, so they use the drive thru, and so the line of cars is long and slow too. They messed up my order I ordered a chicken sandwich and a cheese burger . I literally watched the old fry guy scoop the burnt fries from the fryer using a strainer and slide them off in a full trash can using the edge of the trash can to get the tough ones. Then while the strainer was covered in old lettuce and crumbs from the trash he cleaned it off by dunking it back in the fryer. The manager told him not to do it in front of customers. It was super unsanitary and this place should be closed. Not to mention the manager and employees used the same gloves to count cash and use the computer as they did to build the burgers. My coworkers and I go here often at 8pm for lunch. Line is many times long and takes forever. They are almost always out of baked potatoes, or sometimes it's fries or soda that's out. Employees are sometimes playing or not doing anything. One time my coworker and I came in because no one answered at the to go microphone, and we found one poor kid working and the rest were sitting at two dining room tables! It's sad. Went to this Wendy's for Chicken Sandwich today and got more then I bargained for, rude drive through guy/girl (I swear I couldn't tell) I ended getting the meal and I thought "boy does my diet coke taste a little off" well since it 90 some degrees out I figured I'd still drink it! Well 2 sips later something horrible entered my mouth! I spit it out onto the drink and to my surprise it looked like either some kind of bleach pellet or a sanitizer disk. Well after spitting washing my mouth out brushing and a 2 minute throw up session. I figured I should call them so they don't poison a little kid or something. 1st girl who answered the phone was an idiot (and that's putting it nicely) she said they don't have bleach or sanitizer in the store at all. (If that's true then it is very disturbing). Asked to speak to a manager who told me she didn't really believe me! So the drive-through is run by people who have an ignorant attitude and no customer service skills. When I tried to order my food the woman didn't properly explain to me the situation so I was confused. When I asked her what she meant I got an attitude when I pulled up to the first window to pay I had voiced my concerns with the man at the window yet he decided to reprimand me and give me an attitude back and make me feel like I was wrong. He wasn't a manager he was just a punk. When I did speak to the manager I explained that I never complain and I mean I never complain but I was given such horrible treatment by these people at the drive-through that I didn't wanted to happen to another customer. The manager was kind and understood and apologized immensely and reassured me that the two workers would be dealt with properly. I will never go to that Wendy's ever again and I'm sure they could care less whether they have my business or not read more
