I ended up at a little food court that had a few solid looking options, but sometimes when you see a burger and smell a burger, you simply need to eat the dang burger. There was no line when my wife and I approached the window to order and we ordered a double cheeseburger, a grilled cheese, an order of fries, and a milkshake. Now, instead of simply giving us the price the dude working told us how it was going to take a really long time because he would have to make the burgers and the milkshakes, which ya know, is kind of how it works when you order food. So instead of questioning his logic, I just said forget the shake and ordered the food. The food took literally 8 minutes to come out and I can't imaging the milkshake would of caused that much trouble since they are ordered all the time, but who am I to say? The food was great, as For The Win always is. The french fries were great and so was my burger, but the lackluster interaction with the kid working really put a damp on the experience. Overall, For The Win is still my favourite burger chain in LA and it's going to take a lot for someone to knock them down (although Burgers Never Say Die and Irv's are up there too). Maybe one day, I'll even get to try a milk shake! Hopefully you have a better time ordering then I did.

When I walked last night 15 minutes before close, no one was trying to rush me out and still asked if I wanted to eat there. This was delightful because usually people are completely poops about it. I wish I knew the young man's name who was the cashier he was so kind, outgoing, and just overall super bubbly and friendly. My had a small baby and I went in first to order and then went outside to trade with my husband so he could use the restroom as we waited for our to-go order. Without me sharing any thoughts with my husband the first thing he said when he got back is how supremely friendly the young man was and how he swears his attitude was contagious because he came out with a smile on his face. The food itself as mentioned was great. We took advantage on the specials for the double cheeseburger and the chicken sandwich. I know people will debate it, but I enjoyed the well seasoned and tasty breaded sandwich much more than In-n-out. The chicken sandwich tasted so high-quaity in comparasion to most fast food sandwiches I've ever had and priced so affordably. The entire resturant and the restroom were impicaly clean, the defintion of "sparkling clean". The food is all Sysco/Restaurant Depot frozen stuff, but, despite that, my family and I really enjoy it. The chili cheese fries and onion rings are a hit in our house and the burgers and chicken strips satisfy the kids. Service at the drive through is usually pretty good. I cut them a slack when they sound annoyed/low energy because I know the work is tough. I've only ever been through the drive through, so I've never sat inside. When you're hungry and don't feel like making dinner, this place hits the spot.
