Worse drive thru I've ever been too! && very rude employees. Wait 15 minutes for my order to be taken.

I've been sitting in the drive through for over 20 minutes and still haven't paid. I've never seen a slower fast food place.

My last visit to this Wendy's was the second time that my fries and chicken nuggets were cold. Yes, cold not warm. It is always a gamble if of you will get good service here. The first time I was given a refund. The second time I was in too much of a rush to go back and complain. When I pulled in the drive thru there were three cars ahead of me and the restaurant seemed backed up. You would think that if it was that backed up the food would be fresh. I feel that this will be my last time patronizing this Wendy's no matter how desperate I am. Also the employee at the second window barely acknowledged my presence and only stuck her hand out of the window and nothing else. I think that it is no coincidence that I continue to have bad experiences at this location. read more

!!!SAVE YOURSELF TIME & DISAPPOINTMENT!!! First mistake was not reading the reviews. 2nd mistake was waiting an hour in the drive thru. 3rd mistake was thinking they would offer/provide resolution at the lowest level. Waited in line dang near an hour. Finally got to the Intercom to order, was told "I apologize we are extremely short staffed, we will be with you in just a moment". Waited about another 10mins only to get told "we apologize but there's only two of us working and my manager told me we can only accept mobile orders". So I asked even after we waited an hour plus additional time when you could've said it from the beginning. Mind you the door was locked to the inside. Employee proceeds to get mad and yells "WE'RE SHORT STAFFED BYE!! I'm a very understanding person, however I also expect some type of customer service. This is quite possibly the worst Wendy's ever in existence. The buns are always stale. The service is awful. You may as well tell them to give you whatever the heck they want because that's just what they'll do anyways. They never get the order correct. Honestly, I've considered starting a petition to boot them out of the neighborhood and put something of quality in that location. I visited this location last night at about 11 PM. The line was super backed up and there only appeared to be two employees doing the work for the whole store. I'm a patient person, and I know what I was getting myself into, and I really wanted Wendy's hamburgers, so I was fine with waiting. Others in line were not though. There was a clear sense of impatience that I could gather from all the other cars, making the situation all the more stressful. I waited in line for about 40 minutes (again, fine with me) and was finally able to place my order. When I pulled up to the window, I was greeted by two smiling and friendly employees. Despite the stressful situation, these guys maintained a polite and playful attitude. I even ended up having a short conversation with the cashier, Darnell, about video games while we were waiting for our food. I didn't catch the other guy's name, but he was just as friendly and good spirited. And after waiting for such a long time, my Dave's Double was hot and delicious, definitely worth the wait. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. Slow moving, rude staff. The worst part is that everywhere in the restaurant is absolutely disgusting. Smells terribly of urine. Pulled up to drive thru and waited to be greeted after asking for assistance several times. The employee was rude and acted annoyed that we wanted to be waited on. This was My third time visiting this location recently. Mainly only because of convenience, but this is my last time ever. Apparently asking for no tomato on your sandwich is like asking for a kidney. My last sandwich I got, the bun was so stale I took the chicken out and the few scraps of lettuce and used the lettuce as a bun and just ate it like that. I visited this location about 7pm tonight. Drive thru was crazy, so we went in to order to go. We did wait for a long time for our food, (the employees kept screaming for another employee to come back to make sandwiches while she was visiting friends or family in dining room). But, our cashier was on top if things....not only the ONLY cashier, but getting all orders ready, stocking napkins for dining room, getting all drinks, frosty, etc. She was amazing, kind of the glue that held the store together! They were out of potatoes, after we ordered, she was helpful in replacing potatoes with other menu items. I thanked her, was on my way to car when I dropped a bag and my frosty and drink. Another VERY kind patron in the parking lot, insisted I go back in and get new drinks, and get what was in my bag, and drinks, replaced. I was nervous to bother them, but the manager was SO kind, as well as the cashier. This is GOOD SERVICE. Thank you. I hope corporate sees this and rewards them both for their service, and kindness. Absolutely stay away from this place during lunch hours on the work week. Most of the time you cannot get into or out of the lot, and not because they are overly crowded, but because the way the lot is set up and the location. This Wendy's is absolutely horrendous! I went with my girlfriend and she ordered a chicken sandwich without tomato due to having an allergy. When we received the order and sat down to eat she opened the sandwich to find that they had thrown tomato on anyway. We went up to the counter to calmly and kindly explain that if it weren't for the allergy we would've gladly just picked it off but asked if they could remake the sandwich reiterating the tomato allergy. They hand us the sandwich and this time they had put ketchup on the meal (this sandwich doesn't even have ketchup as a standard condiment). We make a third trip to the counter and simply request a refund and are told by the manager that she "doesn't do refunds" and then proceed to have the cook scream at us about how she's not making the sandwich again until the manager finally forces her to remake it. The manager tried withholding our receipt so that we couldn't file a complaint regarding our order and I had to hold up the line and demand the original or a reprint. They ended up 'finding' the receipt in the trash. Finally, the cherry on top was that as we were leaving an employee gave us the finger and then the manager lied to our faces claiming that the man, that we had seen working behind the counter, wasn't an employee. 1 Star is too high of a rating for a place like this. read more

This place has the worst customer service of any fast food establishment I have ever been to. I live in the neighborhood and it's the only convenient drive thru when I need something fast and cheap, so I have been here multiple times and each time I think maybe it will be better but it just gets worse every time. Today I ordered a kid's cheeseburger and then realized I had said the wrong thing, so when I got to the window I apologized and asked if I could change my order to a jr. cheeseburger. First the girl said no, then when I said "I can't change my order at all?" She called in someone else, who told me they were the same thing. When I got it it was a burger with cheese and ketchup, when a jr. cheeseburger has cheese, ketchup, mustard, mayo, lettuce, onions and pickle. So this time they just straight up lied to me. I'm so mad that I downloaded the yelp app just to post this review. Come on, you can be bad at your job but don't just straight up lie to your customers to get out of the work of voiding an order and redoing it. read more

Absolute worst Wendy's I've ever been to. Drive through is insanely slow. I've left the line 8 out of 10 times because it just does not move. It is ALWAYS bad. I know only stop when it's late and I'm super hungry and forget about how slow it is. Day or night, it takes a year to get your food. "Fast" food is not a concept the employees at this particular Wendy's are familiar with. It's not worth waiting 45 minutes for a junior bacon cheeseburger. You'll waste more money on the gas you use waiting in line than is worth spending at this useless restaurant. Something needs to change. The last time I was there, I was waiting in a huge drive through line while employees fooled around inside the (closed) restaurant laughing with friends, fake kicking them out while they took videos of each other and the line built up onto 40th Street. Ridiculous. I am all for raising the minimum wage, but not for the employees at this resultant, because they literally do work and seem to have no competent management. I visited this Wendy's on a Thursday at approximately 7PM and received the worst service I have ever had. The line was not particularly long, however the wait times were extremely lengthy for the cars ahead of me in the drive-through. The worker taking my order never gave me a total cost and did not have my order on the screen, then told me to drive to the second window. I finally got to the window, she just stared at me with the window open, so I had to ask, "How much was it?" She told me my total after I asked, so I handed her cash. She gave me my change, without a receipt. I assumed the receipt would be in the bag, not in the bag either. They gave me my food after a long wait time, the order was incorrect (missing one Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger). I drove around the drive-through line again to get the missing sandwich, the employee stared at me through the window, I said, "excuse me," several times to get her attention, finally she opened the window and I explained the missing item. She asked for a receipt, I explained I was never given one. The employee told me, "Hold on," and went and spoke with someone in the back. It took about 3 minutes, then the same employee walked back to the window, stared at me and said, "Oh yeah, you didn't get your sandwich." Overall, it took about 5 minutes to get one missed burger. The employees were rude. I explained it would have been a lot easier if I would have gotten a receipt the first time, the employee responded, "Yup, you right, it would be." No word of apologies for any inconvenience. I understand a mistake, I understand long lines during busy hours, but I cannot understand or accept rude workers.
