Today will be the last time we ever go to this Wendy's. We asked them to turn the volume down on the television or change the channel given the content was upsetting. No one else was in the store so we assumed there was no one watching. Their response was they had no remote and thus could do nothing. Once it was made clear they "did not have the capability" in the most condescending way possible we found the power button and turned it off ourselves. We were then told by the manager who barely spoke other than to say no before this we would have to turn the television on or leave. This was not done with any tact and the manager had obviously waited until after customers had come in to deliberately embarrass us as loudly as he could. So we stood up and left. I go to Cal Poly Pomona and wanted a change of food other than what's on campus so I decided to go to the Wendy's down the street. Before I order or pay for anything I ask if they have WiFi available, the manager taking my order says they do. I tried for 15 mins trying to connect. All the lady's that work here are busy talking amongst themselves and changing the advertisements instead of helping their guests. This is the worst branch of Wendy's ever been to. The employees do not value customers at all - they were very rude. YELP and their signs say they close at 1:00am, no specifity of this being the drive-thru window. The employees as well as the night manager has no consideration of customers walking from the Double Tree Hilton to their branch because no one will clean the dining area anymore. And even after telling them the intent is to just buy the food and not eat there, they did not even consider opening the door for the customers. Great food always tastes fresh and great customer service to go with it! Luckily each time I go Elaine is working on the registers she always has a bright smile and she's fast and careful with her orders! Once I requested a special kids meal toy and as I waited for my order to be completed somebody put the toy in the kids meal and she double checked to see if that was the toy I requested and it was not and she changed it to the one I want! She will call your orders out by your name in the happiest manner! If Elaine is working on your order I can almost guarantee you will be satisfied! She'll keep me coming back that's for sure! Wendy's had a big promo for the chkn tenders the other day. I went thru drive thru and said the password wrong and the cashier laughed and I corrected it. Told him my order. He said drive up let me see ur phone I said ok. When I finally get up to window. I showed the email he says it's supposed to be in the app I said ok I can download it and open it for u. Give me a min. He says he has a line and to get out of line and come back thru for the rest. I said I'm getting something with ea free order even tho the email says no purchase necessary. All this time u wasting u could've given me my 3 orders with no extra time added. Needless to say another family member was 2 cars behind me with her own carload and got all her orders. I came here yesterday for lunch. I ordered four chicken sandwiches (2 Spicy & 2 Homestyle). When I get to the drive up window the employee tells me that they have to make the 2 Home Style chicken sandwiches and they asked me to park on the side while I wait. After waiting for over 10 minutes (and 12 cars later), the employee brings me my order. When I get home, I realized that they gave me the wrong sandwiches. Are you kidding me? After all that waiting? I call to speak to the manager and this guy, Tim Phan, who claims to be the manager answers me. I told him what happened. He doesn't even apologize or acknowledge their mistake. He says that if I want a refund, I have to drive back to get a refund. I told him that I would like a full refund over the phone since I paid via credit card. Date: 6/14/2019 Time: 9:50 PM Joseph on the counter was rude. When I got my to go order, it was on a tray.I have to tell him it's to go, and he responded, "I know." Then he put my order in the bag. I ordered a combo meal, I then asked him if this came with a drink. He said, "Did you get a cup?" I said no. He then gave me a cup and said, "Now you do." I left and called the restaurant asking for the manager. He did not introduced himself but he just said, "How can I help you?" with a condescending voice. I kept on repeating to talk to the manager, he kept on answering me "how can I help you." I got irritated with the way he responded. So, I ask for the corporate number, he did not give it to me, instead he hang up the telephone and I can hear some noise at the background. I called them again (909)598-5681 for 15 times, but the phone was busy. On my 16th call, someone picked up the phone but did not say anything, I can hear them talking. I stayed on the phone for more than 40 minutes, but nobody answered. I usually don't post any reviews, but the behavior of the staff and the poor customer service including the manager is unacceptable and needed to be addressed. I am hoping that Wendy's corporate management will look into this incident and take necessary steps to correct/improve the SERVICE and the BEHAVIOR of the staff. This is probably the poorest service I have ever experience at a fast food restaurant. First of all I was ordering a 4 for 4$ and there was no chicken nuggets. After asking if I could get a substitute for the chicken nuggets, I was told no I cannot and I would be charged for the same price. After asking why, I was ignored multiple times by the drive thru employee. After approaching the window I was treated with no respect and ignored again waiting for a response at the window. Finally the supervisor decided to speak to me after ignoring me for at least 10 minutes and said no to getting a substitute. Finally after asking her "why" a couple times she offered to give me the junior fries with extreme attitude and did not make me feel welcome. Don't go thru the drive thru because your order will get messed up and the attitude of the drive thru employee (Lucila) is terrible. Plus make sure you get a receipt even if she tells you it's in the bag. I had to get out of my car and walk in to get my receipt. Get back in my car and begin to eat and my burger has cheese on it. I like Wendy's as a chain, but this location is totally lacking. Going through the drive-thru here is like playing Russian Roulette. Tonight is the third time we've had an issue with an incorrect order after going through the drive-thru. Two previous times we've had missing items that we were charged for, were on the receipt and were never placed in the bag. Tonight two different chicken sandwiches were ordered--one spicy chicken with no mayo and one regular chicken with no modifications but they wrapped them in the opposite wrappers: spicy in regular and regular in spicy so that two people were already biting into the incorrect sandwiches before realizing the mixup. Really? How hard is it to get an order correct? These are the people who think we should raise the minimum wage? Please! Do your job correctly! Complaining to the management is also pointless. I've notified them for the missing items and they're still screwing up. The managers resolution to the missing items was to say the staff had my name and I could go in to get the missing item "free" (it's not free if I already paid for it and you failed to give it to me) and how about making it super awkward where I have to go in and give my name and hope someone knows what I'm talking about. All I can say is if you're dying for Wendy's and this is the only nearby one then either dine in or sit at the window and make sure you have every item you paid for and its correct before you drive away. So I'm just leaving this franchise and was not happy with my visit here, first of all MARIBEL here is very rude, I ended up switching my order last minute and she handled it very unapropiate she spoke in Spanish to another associate thinking I didn't know what she said. I enjoy Wendy's from time to time for a quick bite. My favorite item is their salads and the jalapeño burgers they used to have for a buck. What a deal! very rude manager, older lady with bad makeup on, was belittling me and my family. she kept refusing to serve us and waving us away even though we made an online order and already paid for our meal. we kept telling her we had an online order we had already paid for, she said no you dont, and refused to talk to us after that. i had questions if we'd be charged for it, my family and i just wanted to leave and go somewhere else but obviously we didnt want to be charged for food we didnt get. she eventually walked away and we spoke to someone else and he got us our food but got the order very wrong. after some exchanging of several items of our meal to the correct order we finally got to leave. it probably took about 30mins to get everything sorted out. it was a waste of our time and money and we will not be back. read more

Came here today because I just got off of class, I was hungry, this location is conveniently located right next to the 57 freeway, and my brother bought me a frosty keychain thing. This is my first time ever at Wendy's. I went through drive-thru because I was lazy and did not feel like leaving my car. I think this location was built for drive-thru since the drive-thru line space is so big. The man at the speaker was very kind and patient and answered all of my questions about the menu and the keychain in a happy tone. I could not find the prices for the fries on the menu so he just told them to me. I ordered fries and a frosty. He did not ask me what frosty flavor I wanted, and I did not think to specify. I ended up receiving a chocolate frosty and I was sad. I don't like chocolate flavored ice cream ): oh well, it was free anyways. Next time, I will be sure to specify vanilla. The fries were good and crunchy, and were not too salty. I will be coming back when I am craving fries and ice cream again! Maybe next time I will grab a burger, too. read more
