Stopped by the drive-thru and used the mobile app to order. I hate leaving negative reviews but I had the worst customer service picking up my order. The man working the drive-thru window was RUDE, RUDE and even more RUDE. From the moment he opened the window he was 100% attitude. No reason for all that, if you're that miserable you need to find a job where you aren't the face of the business and work in a customer facing role. This rating is for the restaurant as a fast food restaurant. I ordered and paid through the Wendy's phone app and got $2 off the premium combo. I ordered the baconator with extra lettuce, pickles, onions, and tomatoes. The vegetables were free and it made the baconator a little less unhealthy. I got that, medium fries, and a drink for ~ $11 which I thought was a fair price for the combo meal. The drive through was busy but the line went relatively quickly. The food quality and taste was really good so overall no complaints about my lunch. read more

My wife ordered a spicy chicken meal for me and when she got home, we found out that it has nothing but the chicken and sandwich buns. No lettuce, no tomato, no condiments at all. And on top of that, it's not even spicy. read more

I was at the Wendy's in Portsmouth last week and my bill was less than $9.89. Then I look at my checking account and noticed that I was charged over $11.00. And when I pulled up to the window the person that was at the window she tried to charge me again. I did write to the company about it and have not heard anything about it. The service was fine. We did the drive thru and ordered two crispy chicken sandwiches. What happened to the chicken? They weren't the plump crispy chicken we've been used to. Ordered Dave's triple, no pickles in drive through, nothing else. They said ok, come on up. Pick up food, take bite, super bland. Realize there's no cheese or onions and condiments are skimpy. Go in to let them know there's no cheese. They say "yeahhh were outta cheese and onions". I say "I wish you would of told me that before I bought it". Sorry, but what a letdown due to mostly poor service! It started with me asking if they still had Dave's Single 2 for $5. I was told it was NEVER on the 2 for $5 and if they did, it was over a year ago. I needed to know the name of the sandwich so I ordered the right one even if I'm paying full price. He continued to be argumentative. After I insisted Dave's Single was a 2 for $5 special before pandemic (February-March), he then confirmed it was Dave's Single. I was going to order more items, but at this rate, I opted not to based on this interaction. Woman at drive up had an attitude. Was lovely to be told "here" as she handed me the bag. I then asked for my receipt and she exclaimed in a rather abrupt tone "WHAT?". I repeated my request for my receipt with a "please", again, hoping she would catch on to how you're supposed to talk to customers, humans, be kind to one another?! It took her extra time to find it even though I had not driven away yet. Where did it go? Why are the receipts not being given to the customer? Then I get home to find lettuce hanging out of the packaging. See pictures. It wasn't even close to being anywhere inside the burger. Not one single piece of lettuce was touching the burger. It was enveloped in the flap of the paper. Yeah, that makes me question their cleanliness. My food was touching the bag! Now is not the time to fail with the basics. And, she wasn't wearing a mask. I also was not able to "tap" to pay. She used the same gloves to take my card that she just touched cash and she used same gloves to hand me my bag. No "thank you"? No "Have a nice day"? No greeting? Really?! Nothing. I'm done with that place and don't recommend going there until they educate and retrain the staff. read more

I'm going to say I am hugely disappointed with the service, they almost forgot my drinks and got all my orders wrong, I ask for chili cheese fries something that doesn't usually come with bacon if you don't ask for it, and they put it in my order, it's unable to return because there dine in is closed, which leaves me without food and without money, thanks Wendy's read more

This was one of those unfortunate experiences where my friend and I ordered a quick bite through the drive thru and left without checking inside the bag. When we were back on the highway and finally open our bag, we realized they messed up the order and forgot to give us 2 orders of fries. this place is outright nasty. the people completely messed up my order. soda was warm food was cold. the burger was stiff. i don't remember ordering cold leather but that's what i got. when i told them about the mistakes at the speaker the guy had a major attitude and said whatever pull up to the window and basically threw the bag of food into my car. never will i show up here again. read more

The food is good and always hot. I got a Jr bacon cheeseburger and fries the other night on my lunch break and it was yummy. The chile is good too. The customer service is friendly and polite. Prices are right too! Love this Wendy's! read more

I go to this place 2-3 times a week for lunch/dinner, and it always cold or stale. But I carry on with my day! But tonight 5/22/16, 4 of my family and I, decided to go to this location after an evening of unwinding. Sunday nights are not the best to look for late night snacks, but tonight Management MARY and her staff was amazing! Fresh hot and delish even when it was 30 minutes till close. 1/22/2021...I went through the drive -thru the lady that was taking our order I don't know if she was a manager or not but so RUDE....I got two 4 for 4's and a #4 meal and then when I pulled up to the window to get my food I asked the guy at the window (he was nice) if he could put some Sriracha sauce in the bag and he said yes...we drove into a parking spot to eat and no sauce at all and there was a chicken nugget missing out of the 4 for 4 ....I wasn't even going to make it a big deal about it...I drove back up to the window and kindly told the guy there was no sauces in the bag and he was super nice and apologetic about it...the rude lady came over and he explained what happened...she popped her head out the window and said "what sauces!??" With the nastiest attitude...I got so flustered because she was looking at me with the rudest eyes....and I even forgot about the chicken nuggets because I was so annoyed...I'm 23 and worked in both food and retail so I know what it's like to get annoyed but to be that rude was not necessary at all and I wouldn't recommend going there if she's working. read more

You would not think a fast food place would be so friendly and inviting. I sometimes go months without going here and yet they still somehow remember my name and what i like. Granted it depoends on who is working but over a period of time and working different shifts I kind of became aquanted with the crew. Whether it be a simple order or a huge order to feed an army, really the army base goes there to pick up food, they have proved time and time again that quality and customer service is a priority. Today, at 10:15pm, and my friend and I ordered 2 cheeseburger four for fours with a medium strawberry lemonades, the strawberry lemonades were complete watered down, i should have just gotten a water at that point. Rudest employee ever. I just went through the drive through a few minutes ago, and for whatever reason (I'll figure it out after this review), my credit card didn't go through. The drive-through lady didn't notice right away and handed my food out, when another employee, whom I've decided to call Captain *#%€, noticed and intervened in the rudest way possible. He pushed his way towards her register and shouted, "WAIT! The card was declined." As if I were actively trying to drive off, when I was actually leaning in towards the window to ask the lady where I could find the straw for my drink. So I handed a different card back in the window, and while she was running it, he said helpful things such as "It's a good thing I noticed -- it only flashed up for a second." And later he said, "OK, THIS card went through, so you're good to go." Here's a customer service tip for you: if you insist on treating your customers like criminals, pretty soon you won't have any customers left. Credit cards get frozen all the time for multiple reasons, and sometimes they aren't even frozen -- the transaction just didn't go through the first time for whatever reason. I'm not sure who Captain $&#%* was trying to shame -- me or the nice lady working at the drive through register. Either way, consider me disgruntled. Next time, mind your manners. read more

I used to frequent this Wendy's. Today I ordered Baconator Fries. I had a few fries and I noticed something under the bacon and cheese. It was some sort of folded paper about 2" in diameter. I unfolded it and realized it was some type of label that someone had written on. I was disgusted. Who knows what it was from, who wrote on it and what the hell it was doing in my order? I went back in to let the restaurant know. The woman took it and I indicated I did not want a replacement, but my money back. The cashier told the woman who had the fries to throw them away. I received $2.71 back. No apology... No offer to get the manager. I am seriously shocked at the lack of customer service. read more
