Well now I know why this place has such a low rating. ***Saturday, August 14th at 3:20pm, the heavyset female employee in the red shirt and the smaller female employee in the grey shirt.*** We went through the drive through and the woman in the red shirt who SHOVED the food at us at the window, putting the bags literally an inch away from my husbands face without saying a single word to us failed to give us the sauces we asked for. She immediately walked away, completely ignoring us, and we sat there waiting for a good five minutes for someone to ask about the sauces, periodically saying "excuse me" to try to get someones attention. We finally got the attention of the lady in the grey shirt with long pink nails and asked for BBQ and ranch. She gave us ONE of each for the multiple people in our car and immediately went back to ignoring us. We parked to check everything and apparently she had shoved her fingernail through the top of the ranch. We had to go back to the window 3 times (first to get more BBQ sauce, second to bring the damaged ranch to them and get a replacement, and third to get the correct drink because they gave us the wrong drink also.) because the doors are locked and the lady in the red shirt looked at us like we were stupid or something. She just has a very nasty attitude and a nasty look on her face constantly. This lady in the red shirt should get a job in a factory or something where she doesn't have to deal with customers because CLEARLY she isn't cut out for it. We were the only car in the drive thru line, yet it took us 5 mins to get a response on the speaker. The worker did not guide us through the order. Instead she waited for us to speak, and the entire experience was confusing because we didnt know if she heard us. The lack of communication was awful. Our order came out quick, but it was stale and cold like it had been sitting out for hours. The quality of food at this location was by far the worst that I have ever experienced. The fries tasted like soggy cardboard- definitely not the, "hot and crispy" gaurantee I was expecting. The nuggets were as chewy as basketball leather. This wendy's is a joke, went through the drive up and was cut off multiple times by the employee jasmine over and over saying this will take this long etc etc then after all pf the attitude they still completely messed up a 25$ order. Tonight around 9pm I visited your store in Albemarle. I am not usually someone who complains however the service I received was above and beyond horrible. I do not plan on spending any more money at this establishment for the following reasons: 1st the lady working the drive-thru was rude audioably huffing while taking my order. I wasn't greeted when I came up to the window. She never clearly stated my total and I was never given a receipt. My total for a baconator combo, a biggy bag and an additional regular fry all regular sized was $28 plus change. All of the food we recieved was cold, the fries tasted old, and the baconator I believe was a junior. After leaving the drive-thru window I pulled into the parking lot to check my food. I was missing 1 regular fry. I pulled back to the window as the dining room was closed. Again, when I spoke to the lady, she audioably huffed over the intercom. When I pulled to the window as she instructed, she acted as if it was an inconvenience to fill my order. I understand being shortstaffed is difficult and I appreciate fast food workers but this experience was unnecessary, unprofessional, and horrible. You can still give good customer service and be polite even if you are short staffed. Additionally 1 star was being generous. read more

It's a nice Wendy's! It's brand new and you can tell. Due to it's location there aren't long lines or anything for the drive thru which is awesome. I've only been here two or three times but the food has been a little subpar, not as fresh as I would have liked. Not saying it's disgusting, but it just feels like stuff has been sitting there for like 15 mins before you ordered it. However the people working there are really nice so that's a plus. read more

Lastnight was my second & last visit to this Wendy's. Arrived around 9 Pm on a Monday & was the only customer. However a car driven by a teenager with a little girl passenger were half blocking the drive through lane talking to an employee. When I got to the window to pick up my food it was about a 15 min wait while I observed the employee from outside prepare some special drinks, sprite with about a cup of strawberry syrup...for his friends that were earlier speaking outside. Drinks were prepared in front of the window with a mask half off/ not covering his nose while the young girl squeezed between my car & pickup window to speak to the employee inside & ask if he got the texts. The second trip I order a classic double through the drive thru, I get home my Tea tastes like dishwater, and again my burger was not what I ordered, and looked raw,so I threw it away. My third and what resulted in being the last time I'll go to a Wendy's, I went to a late lunch, sat at the drive thru speaker for seven minutes before the same guy working my first trip says "yo yea can I help you?" I said yes I'd like a four piece nugget he interrupted and said "we outta nuggets," so I asked for cheese fries and a classic double and lemonade, I get to the window Im looking for my debit card and I find the one I'm looking for no longer than 15 seconds tops! I hand it to this girl who's covered in tats looking rough and not friendly at all, as she turns away I hear her mutter "fuckin white boy!" I was livid, I said excuse me?!!Blatantly disrespected and offended! And to top it I get home my food is soggy,under cooked and my lemonade had that yummy dishwater taste!! I've been coming to this Wendy's for 3 years since it's so close to my apartment and convenient for me to get a quick meal. Today was by far the slowest drive through line I've ever waited on. There were only 3 cars in front of me until I could order and it took 15 minutes for me to finally get to order. This Wendy's gets my order wrong 20% of the time and has unreasonably slow service 40% of the time. The food quality is average when compared to other Wendy's. read more

Why do I bother thanking people at drive-thru windows, when *I* am the paying customer? Not sure, but it just seems like common courtesy to me. Sometimes the clerks are pleasant in return. Sometimes (gasp) they'll even utter a "thanks" in return. But not at this dismal Wendy's location at Brier Creek. In return for my polite "thank you," I get an abrupt, rude "Yep." No "thank you," no "you're welcome," not even a "no problem." Just "Yep." This is after the clerk kept interrupting me as I was placing my order. I went at around 2/3 PM on a Tuesday. I went through the drive through and it wasn't that busy, there was maybe 2 cars behind me waiting to order. I had my younger sister with me because she was visiting and there is no Wendy's near where she lives so we were looking at the menu deciding what we were going to get. I told the woman taking our order to give us a minute and she said "okay let me know when you're ready" about 30 seconds passed and she says to me "are you ready yet" and I tell her no and then another 30 seconds passes and she repeats the same thing so we just end of getting spicy chicken nuggets. At the drive through window where you oh I couldn't find my card at first and I asked the woman if they accept Apple Pay and she tells me very blunt "No." I then find my car and be pretty much snatched it from me and shoved it into my hands and didn't say anything just closed the window. I was kind of shocked because usually a employee will say have a nice day or come at again, at least something. THEN we pull up to the window where they give us the food and the woman has a very annoyed look on her face, she hands us our drinks and practically shoves the bag of food into our hands, we also had ordered a birthday cake frosty and they gave us the frosty with the flavoring but nothing else. That woman also didn't say anything but when we were about to pull away she slammed the window shut. I was very annoyed at this point and I called the restaurant and spoke to the manager about it and told her that that isn't the way employees should treat people what so ever, i have worked in many restaurants before including fast food and we couldn't have an attitude with the guests. All the manager said was "how were they having an attitude" and then I explained to her and and she said "ok thanks for letting me know" and hung up on me. After I got home our chicken nuggets weren't even spicy they were regular and we got no sauce (the sauce I was used to because they never give you sauce at this location and when you remind them about it they have an attitude about it) we called the manager AGAIN and she told us to go back for spicy ones and after that experience it wasn't even worth it going back for what we payed for. read more

Worst Wendy's I've ever been to. On multiple occasions it has taken me 10-20 minutes to get through the drive through even when there are only 2-3 cars in front of me. Tonight, my girlfriend and I though we would pop over real quick because we live right next to it, so that we could food and get on the road ASAP. I ordered a #1 & my gf ordered half a salad and a baked potato. It took us 5-7 minutes to get to the window and we sat for another 5 minutes at the window and then we were asked if we could pull up because "they were just now cooking the patty for my burger". After waiting ANOTHER 5 minutes, we finally got our food. They left our drinks inside, along with my fries and didn't put any condiments inside for my Gf's baked potato. I went inside and then waited another 5 minutes before I was even acknowledged to get all of the things they had forgotten. So, a rough estimate of 22 minutes for what is supposed to be "fast food". read more

Absolutely the worst experience ever!!. Me and my family will not be back. I went to drive thru on two different occasions around 11-11:30 and they were closed. The first time I stayed at drive thru for about 10 mins waiting and no one replied to take my order. I drove to the front window and as soon as they made eye contact with me they quickly turned around. The next day I called management and she apologize and said she would see what was going on and why they closed and offered a free meal. 2 weeks later I came back on a Saturday and they were closed again. So at this point I called and asked for the area manager by Robert he explained to me that we close if we are short staffed. I explained to him that I am a manager at a restaurant and no business is going to stop unless it is an extreme condition. He began to talk over me saying I'm sure you wouldn't want us to make your food while we are short staffed. At this point I'm hilghly pissed off and told him to just give me the number for the area manager he told me to hold on and then hung up on me. In most cases I would have let it go but the lack of profession here blew my mind. So I came into Wendy's and asked to speak to Robert and he act like he had never spoke to me on the phone 10 minuets prier. He gave me the number and sarcasticly said "good luck". I then called and spoke to the area manager I think his name was Busle but I spoke to him and told him what my experience was and he totally was ignoring my complaint said he would have investigate because he was on vacation and would call me in a couple of days. Which is unacceptable as If I was lying when it's previous experience about the same thing. Me and my family will never come back due to the lack and disrespect I had to tolerate. I wonder why this location have a bad reviews because they suck big time, I have been in the drive through for 20 mins which mean I only have 10 mins to go back to my work but it was ok , I understand they are busy lunch time, I pulled my car to where you order no one answers me or tells me to wait , nothing, two cars in front of me have taken their food and left and there is a long line behind me so I figure maybe they are taking orders by window and that is why it taking longer, so I pulled to the window and this cashier tells me no , she cant take my order and I have to go around again to order, so I told her how will I know that they are taking orders there where no one talked to me , she called the person taking orders for the drive through and I wish she didn't because she was the most rude person I ever met , she came in and I explained to her, she told me the same thing go around and wait without even apologizing for not telling me in the beginning to wait on the placing order place , which is her job and that is what it is done in drive through usually they tell you to hold or they will be back with you or something to let you know they are taking orders from there, but where I see cars in front me left and no one took my order I assume they are taking it from the window, as I said she was really rude and she had to tell me that I m wasting her time while I already wasted my whole lunch time, so her time is valuable but mine is not , what a great customer services they have, at least they should apologize or at least do their job right so they don't have to deal with it after. this was on 09/23/2019 at 12 pm , by the way I was a regular customer because from now on , no way I can go back to their location, they know me very well I always take my orders and never give them a hard time even though one time I had to wait and they tell you at the last minute in the window they don't take cards payment only cash, which is bad also, but I didn't get mad I understood their situation when unfortunately they don't understand their customers and the worst they don't value their customers at all read more

I have been to this location more than several times and I must agree that the staff is patient and professional and on both visits the food was extremely delicious, I indulged myself into the chili and cheesy fries that was cooked to perfection and I am consistently contemplating about the DAVE'S HOT 'N JUICY™ 3/4 LB.* TRIPLE combo, freshly made, where the beef seemed to dissolve in all its firmness as soon as I took the first bite, and yes it was well cooked. In addition, this location is very busy, so the fact that the first reviewer stated that he had to wait 30 minutes wouldn't be surprising! yet it's unbelievable and more along the lines of overly exaggerative, because the longest I had to wait was 3-5 minutes. They are super clean and have a very warm setting of modernity versus many other burger joints. Surely stop by and enjoy this warm environment and delicious food, I highly recommend it. read more
