Being from the area, I've ordered from the Brier Creek McDonald's many times over the years. If you use their mobile curbside option, be mindful that you might get "stuck" behind cars in the drive-thru line. You can avoid this by entering the McDonald's after the drive-thru, essentially going through the parking lot right next to it. This McDonald's made an error with my order that I didn't catch until I got home (I lost $3 due to the mistake). I submitted a complaint through their app, which wasn't easy, I had to Google how to do it. My complaint went to corporate, who forwarded it directly to the store. I got a call from a store manager and then a community support manager, Ernie, who mailed me a free meal card. I used the card to get a Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese Deluxe Meal (value $10+), and it was delicious... I probably would never have tried it without the meal card. No parking! Saving for mobile order- they had at least 8 spots in front for mobile order or pull up cars from drive thru- none of them had cars in them. I had to park in other lot and walk in rain. Decided to go in because the drive thru line was long. Parking was easy and the lot was fairly empty. When I got in, I was the first in line. The server and manager ignored my presence for ten minutes. I stood in line aimlessly as they did everything but greet me and the other customers who began to form a long line behind me. I ordered breakfast through Door Dash on 7/26/2023. I called the restaurant multiple times but never got anyone to pick up, it's just rings and rings then goes to a fax machine. I tried to contact the corporate offices and three times I was sent by McDonald's to speak to Door Dash about the rotten food at McDonald's. So DO NOT EAT THERE as McDonald's does not seem to be concerned about moldy food. Or that someone ingested mold spores. Worst location I have ever been to. Came for breakfast this morning, pulled up in a lane, no one serviced that lane. Four cars went in the other lane, but nobody ever came to take my lanes order. I called the manager to let him know that the lane may be broken, and he told me that it was not broken but they were working on a large order and only could service one lane. We showed her our order online with the location, and she refused to acknowledge it. We showed her that we got charged, but refused to give us our order. She didn't even apologize or offer if we wanted to order again. She was rude and if this is an indication of her managing style, then I'm not surprised that this location is extremely slow in service. We once ordered curbside and after waiting 15 minutes, someone came out and said that curbside was closed. This is probably one of the worst McDonald's locations in Raleigh - I'd even venture a bit further and say the entire Triangle. The employees are rude, the food orders are only right half the time, and overall quality of food is just lacking (cold fries, stale bread, etc.). Let's not get crazy here, I know that this is McDonlad's, but still there is an expectation of basic decency (from the employees) and quality that aligns with the brand. Whoever owns this location should be embarrassed. One employee got angry because I wouldn't let him pet my dog through the drive through window. Ummm, for one, you're a stranger. There are usually only 2 people on duty. They refuse to give you your receipt 99% of the time. They'll get your order wrong they pretend they can't look it up and see what's missing since they throw away receipt. Ok we all know that Mickey D's food is very consistant in flavor. This location is constantly cold fries, cold food and ice filled almost to the top of the cup. I mean I know that we are all tight for money but can I get some coke with my ice? It's pretty sad when your 4 year old says "these fries are yuck! " Not just that, but the service is always mediocre at best. Often the folks in the window are just rude. There are some very nice ones but there is one gentlemen that won't even turn his head much to look at you or even thank you. The latest blow is now they are charging for sauces. They have it posted on the pick-up window how many sauces you can get with each chicken nugget order. I think there was something on there about ketchup too. Well, I know the last time I went for 3 fries we got like 4 ketch-ups they wanted me to pay for more. I said my kids don't eat the dipping sauces and they just looked at me with a blank look. Two things that annoy me when I "walk into" a restaurant. Dirty tables and to go bags. My biggest pet peeve is having 10 tables to choose from and not ONE of them has been cleaned off. Maybe the condition of the tables is indicative of the pigs that work there, but seriously. If a place has consistently dirty tables. I respond by grabbing a handful of napkins and wiping them off as best I can. No, I do not throw them away. My hope is if they notice napkins on the table top , the seats, and the floor that maybe someone will attend to the rest of the dining area. Never seems to work. Secondly, If I'm a walk in and I say for here then you give me a bag and no tray, I will most certainly assume you want and need to clean the tables. Don't assume when I say "for here" that I don't want a tray. If you fail to provide me a tray and give me a bag because you don't like cleaning trays, maybe you like cleaning tables better. I always leave the mess on the table. No, I don't consider the bag as a convenient trash receptacle for my dining in experience. The line servers or the cashiers need to start getting this right. You may always assume, if I say for here, I want a tray, not a bag. In fact everywhere I go for fast food, if you give me a bag after I say for here, your guaranteed to have a mess at the table. This industry is NOT rocket science. Start thinking. I know owners are challenged for good help these days. But at least put a trainer in as a manager and don't just teach the superficial elements of the job. Start looking at your service from the customer's perspective.
