My wife and I have stopped going to the Wendy's at 12240 Highland Avenue, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91739. We had previously stopped going here because of issues with the food and service. Well, we made the mistake of trying them again. Thought that perhaps they had changed. No dice! The food is still always cold, no matter that we ask for fresh food. Always cold. When you really think of it, their food is actually tasteless. Hamburgers are terribly bland AND cold, with cold french fries. Who wants to eat cold french fries? And cold hamburgers? When compared to In N Out, there is no comparison. Furthermore, their employees don't seem to listen to what you say. They are in a hurry to take your order and just don't listen. THEY DON'T LISTEN? Who's brilliant idea was it to add a guy standing outside to stop me before the takeout speaker box to take people's order with a tiny incomplete laminated menu, and have to repeat the order into a radio? WHEN the full menu is literally 5 feet away.... and also ordering directly into a speaker is less exposure to another person during this pandemic.... so NOT sure who's bright idea that was. Anyways! So I'm driving home from work I hear a Wendy's commercial and it made me crave spicy nuggets and a bacon cheeseburger. I get there and the guy shows me this tiny menu I can't really read and says they have a two for $5 special for chicken sandwiches and nuggets, which is great but I didn't want a chicken sandwich? Absolute garbage. It took 25 minutes to get through the drive-thru. I specifically asked for grilled chicken on my avocado BLT, JUST THE SANDWICH, and got spicy breaded chicken, cheese, and two TOP buns on my sandwich. Not to mention, avocado does not mean guacamole. Two different things... I also got charged for the full meal. I can't eat this now bc 1. Gross, and 2. Macro count. Was charged 12.00 for a 6.00 sandwich that wasn't even right. Last night my boyfriend and I decided to get Wendy's , we ordered a 10 piece spicy combo with a strawberry lemonade, another 10 piece spicy nugget just the entree along with a value fry and another strawberry lemonade on the side .. at the speaker we asked to be given 4 sauce for both 10 piece nuggets which would be 8 sauces together we pulled up to the 2nd window and was greeted by one of the managers at this location everything was fine until the manager gave us our food and we looked in our bags and saw we only had 5 sauces so my bf decides to ask the manager for TWO more sauces the manager proceeds to say "I'm going to have to charge you" and I've NEVER EVER known Wendy's to charge for more sauces but my bf and I both said to her "that's fine" she proceeds to tell us for 2 more sauces it'll be $1.00 which was NOT an issue we gave her the dollar with no hesitation but then i asked the manager for my RECEIPT that shows we were charged for 2 sauces , the manager proceeds to act like she was about to give me our receipt just to come back to the window and say "we don't do receipts for sauces but I charged you for two sauces and gave you more sauces" I told her okay " I understand we were charged for 2 sauces but I would still like my receipt that shows I paid and was charged for 2 sauces " the manager then proceeds to say "give me the sauces back" I tell her no give me the receipt you already took my form of payment" she then keeps trying to tell me that Wendy's does not provide receipts for sauces so I pulled out my phone and started recording her because I was sending it to corporate she then grabs the $1 we gave her as soon as she sees I'm recording and said I'm sending this to corporate and then gives my bf the dollar back and says "you can leave now" In the end she LIED and was trying to use her manager title to try to pull a fast one on us. This manager is always rude and very unwelcoming and always has an issue when I come and ask for more sauce than she provided me with. Amazing facilities. Anyone who says otherwise is out of their mind. Manager Alex helped me with a order that had a slight problem and resolved it. Highly reccomend this Wendy's it is is the best in our area. Baconator was fresh and he had a smile every time. Everytime I requested something I had no doubt it was gonna be given. Went to the Wendy's on highland ave. In Rancho Cucamonga, and the worker ODALIS female had so much attitude and rolled her eyes when I asked for no ice in my soda . She clearly didn't hear me when I said no ice but she said insisted that I was wrong and was in such a pissed of mood. If you don't want to work don't work. The African American guy that takes the orders at the window tried getting at my sister while ordering food . He kept insisting on us giving him our number, like demanding for a phone number or we don't get any food. Made us feel uncomfortable. Especially when he asked if we lived in Rancho and kept complementing our car and what we had on. His intentions were not pure. If we didn't live in Rancho would be even try talking to us? We even asked if he was not scared to get in trouble and stated "doesn't care and he does whatever he wants" then kepted asking where we lived. I would like to get food and not get hit on and asked weird questions. Especially by kids younger than that can be my little brother age even if he didn't look young. Manager needs to go over employment rules, regulations and policy's with employees because that was a weird experience coming to Wendy's. Went here for a quick lunch after the morning football games and nobody does it faster then Wendys. I ordered the new Guacamole Bacon burger and it was good, its kinda light on the guacamole but maybe thats so it doesnt slip and slide all over the place. This is also the first time ive tried there new fries cooked with sea salt. There old fries where one of my favorites so i wasnt happy when i heard they changed. Most place have ruined there fries by changing them like Carls jr and burger king. Well these new fries are just as good if not better. I really liked them. Restaurant was filthy. Floors dirty and un-mopped. Trash overflowing and trash all over the floors. Filthy restrooms, and to top it off the ice machine was broken and the sodas were warm. I've been to this locations many times and never experienced this. At least our food was fresh and hot. It taken over 42 minutes to get 2 burgers and some fries. Theres a high school nearby and I was told it's like this everyday and they never prepare enough food and have enough staff during peak times. How hard is it to get an order right? Asked for tomatoes and no lettuce get both on my sandwich and no Mayo. Beyond ridiculous

Every time I eat here I'm left a bit disappointed. I find Wendy's to be overpriced, but also their BBQ pulled pork sandwich had entirely too much sauce. Also I wasn't informed that it had cole slaw in the middle of my sandwich. The French fries can be soggy and cold when you order to go. Even on their hamburgers they put entirely too much sauce and the hamburger is made sloppy. A positive is their baked potato and chili which are really good. And the staff has been very nice and kind. I go in here for something good I'm left disappointed. Oh well! read more
