Even when we got to the speaker, it took several minutes before we were acknowledged and then another 5 minutes before she took our order. Drive up to the window and paid. This is a new looking resturant. The shame of it is trash cans were full, bathrooms were filthy, staff had a horrible attitude. If you still want to eat here, better check your order, for some reason or another the staff can't decipher what the order screen is showing them. And when you catch them with a wrong order be prepaired for an attitude, she actually threw the salad she had missed at me. Also, they seem to not follow standard food sanitary practices!!!!!! (9/30/2023) we stopped through on a road trip. Needed bathroom, food, and fuel (Bebop's is next door). Location is very convenient off I-95. It's pretty trashy in and around the facility, and j mean liberal trash. Filthy bathrooms, no paper towels. Tried the Ghost Pepper Ranch Chicken Sandwich and it's pretty damn hot. This sandwich has four layers of heat--the spicy chicken with its white cayenne and black pepper heat--plus three more layers of a ghost pepper cheese, crispy onions that are ghost pepper ranch seasoned, and ghost pepper ranch dressing. It got painfully hot towards the end, as the heat is a builder. Recommend a Frosty to go with it for the coolness and casein to break down the capsaicin. read more

Stopped here after grabbing some gas on the way home. Overall, the place is nestled right off interstate next to two different gas and convenience stores, as well as next to a McDonalds. I ordered a JBC and a chicken sandwich. The food was okay I suppose. It came out fast and overall I would say it was the standard food you'd expect from your home field advantage Wendys. Nothing more or nothing less. One of the buds in our party walked in and reported that the service was slow upon entry into the store, and that the Coke freestyle machine was nearly out of every flavor possible other than most the normal standard issue colas. Worst experience at a fast food. Went to fill my drink, over half the options are unavailable. Once I find something that is available, it sprays bright Orange Fanta all over my brand new hoodie and shorts. Guy behind the counter said, "Oh yeah, sorry, there's nothing we can do." Stopped here to take a break from driving back to Florida. Unfortunately I left my phone in the car when I went to the bathroom as there was tinkle all on the floor around the stall, as well as it stunk of urine. I did, however, get a picture of the parking lot, as it was littered with rain soaked, sun dried trash (cups, cigars, cigarettes, diapers, etc). From working in the restaurant business before, I know that this (parking lot AND bathroom) should be a morning chore, like counting the drawer and turning on the fryers. One girl was texting on the phone and the others were in a circle talking. We them received our food, once again waiting for someone to take our money. We stopped at this Wendys while driving back from HHI at around 6:30 on a Saturday. There was one car in front of us in the drive-thru and they moved pretty quickly. Service was typical of a fast food joint. The kid taking our order wasn't the brightest bulb. Us: We'd like a grilled chicken sandwich with No mustard and no mayo. Kid: Would you like honey mustard? Us: Is that mustard? No. Mustard. Then we had this exchange... Us: We'd like a small chocolate shake. Kid: We don't have chocolate shakes. We have frosties. Us: Um...ok We were a bit worried that they might screw up our order, but thankfully that did not happen. Everything came out right...the food was hot & order was correct. First things first. It was 9:30 at night and I didn't expect much coming from this Wendy's because I've been here before and I was disappointed. But let me tell you something! The food was great! it was fresh! And it was just like the picture on the menu just about . And the service was great. I came in on a Friday night right around the end of april I believe and the employees were focused on drive thru, I seen the drive thru was busy but not the lobby. So I asked if they were open and the manager on shift told me give him a second and he walked over from the drive thru and told me they were. Offered me to try one of their new menu items, but I just ordered my usual a Dave's triple with baconator fries and everything was so fresh! When he was taking my order he was very thorough, and I could tell he's worked here before, he was a new face and he was quick with getting my order to me. He told me it would take awhile for my food to be up because it was cooking fresh and I had no problem with that. The mens bathroom could've been a little better. It was clean, but the paper towels weren't inside the holder, and the urinal could've used a wipe down. But the trash was taken and didn't smell or looked like it never had been cleaned. It's nice to see that the service has gotten better and the food has definitely improved. Whoever has stepped into changing how this establishment runs is definitely getting things going in the right direction even if it's not immediate. When I was just about to leave I went back to order a chocolate frosty and I can tell you for sure that was the first time in a long time I enjoyed my experience here. Im always in and out of here since im frequently on the road. Hope to see and feel the same experience when I go back!
