We picked this restaurant based on yelp reviews and we're so happy we did.my fried oysters/fried scallops platter with fries and side salad was incredible - oysters and scallops were PERFECTLY cooked (I order both of these on the regular and I know how easy it is to overcook them. Elsewhere, they're usually sadness food), fries were fresh ant hot, salad was super fresh. DH's Cobb salad was excellent as well - he specifically said that the shrimp was perfect (again, shrimp are easy to overcook) and the chicken (white meat) was tender and juicy. The atmosphere is brightly lit, with lots of fun funky signs. You order at the counter and they'll bring it to your table if you dine in. Soda, a few beer and wine choices (although they only had 1 wine available). Super lovely, friendly staff too. They were gracious when I asked for extra takeout boxes and didn't even charge me. Wheelchair accessible (I use a chair) but be aware that the bathroom is tight- doable, but on the smaller side. Due to the age of the building, it's a retrofit that did the best it could. I've been in much worse, in newer buildings. Prices were amazingly reasonable. 10/10 recommend, and if we're ever in that area again, we'll seek it out. read more

still friendly staff and locals with great food. decorated for Christmas. My husband asked why i ordered so much but basically I ordered a cup of crab soup which was a large cup creamy and filled with bits of crab. The cheeseburger was also a good size, fresh lettuce and tomato, served open on the plate. i chose okra for my side, and must have been 2-3 cups! crispy delicious! So yeah my order grew, bc then lovely Cora offered me free dessert- cupcakes or banana pudding. Stopped by this small, older restaurant and was pleasantly surprised by the food! The crab boil was absolutely delicious, flavorful, well-seasoned, and definitely the highlight of the meal. It also came with a massive pile of shrimp. I gave it my best shot at finishing, but I sadly had to leave some behind. The burger was also really good; juicy and well-cooked, but oddly missing pickles, which felt like a small but noticeable miss. Tried the boneless wings, but they were more like chicken tenders with a bit of sauce. Not bad, but not quite what we expected, and the sauce was pretty sparse. I had the spicy shrimp wrap with EVERYTHING and it was oh so delicious! Served w one side, I chose fries. Fiancé had a white fish sandwich he could barely hold together to eat. He said the fish was mediocre! Overall just ok. I guess his fish sandwich would have been much better on a different type of bread instead of a piece of fish slapped between 2 slices of white bread and nothing else! We were driving through the state and found this place online. What a great find! It is located on Main Street and seemed to be very popular for lunch. Cute sea decorations, as well as 11 indoor tables and 4 outdoor tables. Large menu with appetizers, salads, burgers, sandwiches and wraps, seafood baskets and entrees. I got the fried shrimp basket and dirty rice as my side (you get one side with a basket, probably more sides with actual dinners but I'm not sure) and it also comes with hushpuppies. The shrimp and hushpuppies were very good but the dirty rice way too salty for my tastes. The interior is smallish, not sure how many tables but not too many, but they have outside seating too and probably deal in plenty of to-go orders, as well. We're passing through and this was close to the interstate so we thought why not give it a go! The reviews were pretty good so I expected there to be really good service. It was a quaint little restaurant and it was filled with locals I could tell by the way they stared at us as we walked to the counter. It must've been a busy time because There was very little chitchat they took our order took the payment and that was that! The food was good, The seafood fresh but our pan fried squash was definitely deep-fried and very greasy and oily. All in all it was worth the money but The experience and the side dishes were just all right. read more

So I stopped by here on my way to NC because it had great reviews and my first impressions of the place were good. The girls at the front desk were sweet and very helpful. I ordered the shrimp Basket and my mom ordered the whiting basket. First bites were great. It was cooked well, and was absolutely delicious. Halfway through the meal I found a giant black hair in my food(no it isn't a small hair it was a GIANT black curly hair). Unfortunately I was already halfway through my meal before I found it. Great food, great service. Unfortunately a legit hair is an automatic failure. Hopefully management will see this and train their staff to use hairnets or even a baseball cap so this won't happen again. Was this an isolated incident? Probably... but I wrote this more for management to enhance a restaurant that I had very high hopes for. read more

Stopped on our drive from FL to PA and what a find!!! It was 12:15 and very busy but no one ordering at the counter so we were lucky. Please was 3/4 full already. The fried green tomatoes were just perfect, hot and crispy with ranch dipping sauce and the fried oyster basket was sweet fresh oysters, the kind you always hope for when you order oysters! I had the fried okra with it and they were as delicious as the tomatoes. The hush puppies had that pit of sweetness that makes a great southern hush puppy. All the people were very friendly and accommodating. When we were eating a larch party came in with about 12 people and they had their food very quickly. Pulled off I95 due to the seafood reviews, the impending ice storm and the tiredness of the driver and found Fiddlers for a good hot meal! I had grilled scallops and fried shrimp with sweet potato fries and coleslaw, all around very good and a good value! Partner had the daily special grilled whiting and scallops, okra and a house salad, again a good solid meal for taste and portions. We stopped for a late lunch on a Saturday and we're very pleased with the whole experience. The atmosphere is a casual fishery vibe with both indoor and outdoor seating. We arrived at 2:30 so there was plenty of seating though I can imagine they are quite full during peak meal times. The staff was friendly and helpful, and willing to accommodate special requests. We had Oyster Po' Boys, a shrimp basket and a fried flounder basket. It was all fresh, hot, well prepared and delicious. The only thing none of us liked was the slaw. It was mostly one note - sweet. Walking in from a long drive and in need of a rest room and a good meal. I was welcomed warmly by the decor and the staff. Got the Shrimp and Flounder platter with collard and green beans as a side drinking it all down with lemonade and unsweetened tea. WOW! First off loved the bathroom decor! Lots to read . The meal was great. Shrimp were breaded and lightly fried, sooo good. Same with the flounder. Collards were seasoned just enough to make them taste great and let you taste the collards, green beans were a perfect side to it. Then the hush puppies. Sometime hush puppies can be over cooked and way to crunchy. Not these! They are cooked perfectly and almost have a sweetness to them that you could make em a dessert.
