When I entered, there were four employees present--two behind the counter and two in the back--and not a single person acknowledged me. At that point, an employee said the cashier would be with me shortly, but I still received no service after several more minutes. Meanwhile, the car that had been ahead of me in the drive-thru had already ordered and received their food. Despite this, the staff remained unengaged. As I turned to leave again, I overheard an employee tell the cashier to take my order, and she responded, "If they can't be patient, let the bitch leave." So this bitch did. I went to McDonald's instead, where I received my food in under eight minutes--even with multiple cars ahead of me. In addition to the poor service, the Burger King location was noticeably dirty. The Sheriffs office is roughly 1 mile away from the Ridgeland, SC. Pizza Hut.at 231 pm I received a call with nothing but Pizza Hut promo audio. I called the office Back who explained they were short staff and could not deliver the meal until 5 pm, I explained to them this is not acceptable ... I spoke with Management who would not reveal the Franchisee name, and after speaking to managers they said they would immediately contact the District manager and that I would be contacted by the same , I received no call back..., being close now to 3 pm , I called the store back to check on the status of the online order for 3pm. I was hung up on once , I was called rude (I was direct and not rude) I was humiliated and went into an internal spiral triggering a bad PTSD episode, anxiety and panic attacks /depression. They refused to fix their .... hUGE mistake, there was no accountability... shocking for a food chain Franchise that I supported for most of my life as a patron , devastating ... I cancelled the order which I asked the Sheriff and staff to enjoy a meal and drinks I appreciation for recognizing my DEAD FATHER who was a 80 year old lifetime patron of Pizza Hut . I hate to leave a low review for anyone but Pizza Hut Ridgeland has earned it. They rarely have…read moredrivers. Our orders are usually wrong or missing items. The staff is friendly when you do a pickup order but the pizza is subpar, at best. If you do try it, I strongly recommend that you have an abundance of paper towels to sop up all of the grease from top and bottom. My recommendation, venture out of town for a good pizza.
