Worst place to eat. The food was so nasty and I asked to speak to manager and he never came to my table to speak to me. the sandwich Was so bad, I wouldn't even feed it to a dog. I wrapped up the sandwich and took it back to cashier and told her they could have it, I won't even feed that to a dog, is what I told her. I told her the manager never came out to talk to me. at that point a customer pointed to a man who was behind the counter and said "he's the manager." Tonight, 07/27/2019 at 8:50 PM was the first and last time that I will ever eat in this restaurant. Only one other customer eating in the restaurant and all the employees just standing around in the back. There were a few cars that visited the Drive-Thru but nothing heavy. We went through the drive thru today and are very disappointed. The staff were friendly, but the order wasn't what we expected. We were served child size portions in everything and we specified large. We got two "Large boxes of fries" which were filled half way and burgers made correctly, but very small. The large sodas were between a small to maybe medium in size with barely any carbonation. All the food smelt weird as well, we are regretting eating it at this point. I was running late to class so I ordered through the mobile app and got my order completely wrong. I ordered a bacon burger combo and vanilla frosty. I received a chicken sandwich and a chocolate frosty. I'm allergic to chocolate. I called the establishment and received very unprofessional service. Zero stars actually. Not one. They do not deserve one star. The customer service is nonexistent at this location. Customers are treated despicably. I ordered through door dash, and I put in my special instructions that I wanted a baconator made with no bun with extra lettuce, tomatoes, and regular onions I asked for it dry, which means no sauce and regular yellow mustard on the side. Which I understand, it's up to the dasher to put this in, and I did bring it up to door dash. However, my food was made wrong, it had mayonnaise and ketchup all over the meat. It had 2 tomatoes which is not extra, and it had at at least 10 onions. So I went to the store to get it remade. The gentleman behind the counter was nice and took it to the kitchen. As they started to make it the manager on duty who was working in drive thru went to the kitchen to see what was going on. She immediately came to me and gave me this nasty look and started to tell me how if I go through door dash then I need to contact them to resolve the issue, which I already had. But I still wanted my food made correctly because I cannot eat mayonnaise and it was all over the top of the meat, I could not scrape it off. As she was telling me this I was calm and I told her I understand and I did go through them but that does not get my food remade. She told me not to get attitude with her and I told her I was not, she was the one who came to me with attitude and a nasty tone of voice. I told them how I wanted it made and she went and told the kitchen to make it only meat and cheese, which again, is not what I asked for. She walked away to the back in frustration. As if taking care of customers was inconvenient for her. As if doing her job was inconvenient. They put my food on the side and it sat there for at least a minute before she came back and told the guy at the counter to give it to me, instead of giving it to me herself. She went back and ignored me. The food was not even made correctly AGAIN. They put pickles on it, which I had never even mentioned pickles, and they did not put bacon on the baconator. Once again, I had to ask for it to be remade. She once again gave me attitude. Once again, doing her job was inconvenient for her. Before I left I made a comment, which I admit I shouldn't have, but I was upset at being treated so nasty for wanting things to be done right. I told her if she can't treat customers correctly, maybe she shouldn't have this job. Which is 100% correct. And she told me that I shouldn't come there again. I didn't go in there wanting to make a scene. I didn't go in there angry. I didn't go in there to get mad. I only went in to get my food made correctly and I was met with hostility and anger. That is not ok. It is not ok for a manager to talk to a customer with any sort of anger of attitude. I have worked in fast food for almost 4 years and no manager at my store has ever talked to a customer like that, and if they did they'd be fired. I'm not sure why Wendy's is above good customer service, and treating their customers with respect. You never know what the person walking through that door is going through. I have been severely depressed for a few months and it is hard for me to eat anything. I also don't have a car to make a quick trip through a drive thru. I ordered on door dash so I could get some food into my system and not have to walk in this 97 degree Texas summer. Not only did I have to walk the 20 min there to get my food remade, I was made to feel bad for wanting to eat. I was treated like I was an inconvenience. It does not matter how that manager felt, she shouldn't have treated me so badly. If you like to be treated with respect, and get correct food, I do not recommend this location. Zero stars. Edit: I also do want to add that I've had one other order on door dash messed up. That restaurant was more than willing to remake my food. My last visit to this Wendy's. The service here was extremely poor. I asked for a Son of Baconator with a single patty, no mayo and all veggies. I got a plain and dry Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger but was charged for the latter. I hate to see good businesses go under but with service and food quality like this it's really no surprise. I remember a time when Wendy's was THE burger joint. Lines around the building, QUALITY patties and bacon, and FRESH vegetables and aluminum wrapping paper to keep it all hot. Now all of that has gone to hell - look no further than the reviews on all of the Wendy's chains here in San Antonio - MOST are three stars or less.
