Quality always fluctuates between different employees. When I first came here many months ago, it was really good service and food (5-star level for a fast food chain). My last three visits were disappointments to the point I don't want to come back. Some reviews here say the food is raw sometimes and they are correct. The batter on the nugget was raw and doughy along with the fries on the first incident. On the second incident, you could taste the cold potato from the fries and it was gross. Had to throw them out on my way to work. On the third and final incident, I thought everything was fine until I ate my nuggets and burger. Some of the nuggets had that doughy texture again that dissolved in your hands and were cold. All three incidents had food that wasn't fresh, you'll be at least guaranteed warmly cooked fast food at the McDonalds down the street. read more

I'm not mad. I'm just disappointed. I visited this location today and while placing my order they asked me what size I wanted my order. I asked if the fries were fresh, because let's be honest, no-one likes cold, soggy fries. The person taking my order replied "to my knowledge they should be" which didn't inspire a lot of confidence, but YOLO. So I get my order and I try a fry and not only are they not fresh, they're cold and soggy. And normally I wouldn't care, but I only upsized my meal under the assumption that I would be getting fresh fries (otherwise I'd get a small and just toss them). It's also worth nothing the nuggets were lukewarm at best. Maybe someone needs to check to see if the heat lamp is plugged in and turned on (tier 1 support)? If I am a manager or owner of this location there would be a checklist (just like there's one for restroom cleanliness...hopefully) for food quality based on when it's made. Nothing should sit out for more than 30 minutes under a heat lamp and if it does I'd toss it. I wouldn't want anything but the best quality food passing thru the window or across the counter to a customer and to be honest, fast food has become a competitive landscape. Other suggestions for improvement would be to double-down on mobile payments. In-store accept Apple/Android Pay or at a minimum allow for using the Wendy's Mobile Payments, which isn't currently supported at this location. read more

I went to this location for lunch at 11:30 AM pretty simple order two burgers and two spicy chicken sandwiches and a large Dr Pepper easy ice. After getting up to the window I paid for my order 20 something dollars and then after cashing out my sister text me asking for a diet Dr Pepper so while still sitting at the window I asked is it OK if I get a diet Dr Pepper as well the lady at the window I think it's the Manager rolled her eyes and then gave me the diet Dr Pepper. I was going to submit a negative survey but they also didn't give me a receipt they had me pull around to the side of the building and I waited 10 minutes to get my food while three other customers went through the line. It's very frustrating and I wish they would give me a receipt so I can actually send the negative survey so this was the best I could do it. read more

It is in our neighborhood but there is a good one with good service and people who aren't idiots working at the one on Culebra so I'll just go there from now on. We had an easy order, premium combo meal so I could use my app coupon, and 12 nuggets. First of all, the lady at the window was rude as heck. She gave me my drink with the top of the next bigger sized drink so it obviously didn't fit. I didn't say anything. Then she had us pull up to wait for our food. 10 min later we got our bag rudely thrown at us. Got home to find two kiddie burgers and 2 nuggets containers that were not even assembled and a few nuggets thrown in the bottom of the bag. I counted 8 when I ordered and paid for 12. This is by far the best Wendy's I have been too. The food is always hot and fresh and the staff is professional. I actually drive 30 minutes away to go to this Wendy's specifically. The burgers are hot and juicy and not dry and taste burned like other Wendy's. It makes all of the difference in the food quality. I'm not sure what this Wendy's is doing differently, but keep it up!! Hopefully the other stores in the area will follow suit! read more

Can I give this place less than one star? This location is so inconsiderate, slow, and ridiculous. I have a gluten intolerance and they completely ignored the fact that I can get insanely sick snd gave me a regular bun anyhow. They told me they cannot refund my order, bt can replace it. They left out an entire meal, and completely messed up the order that I placed. Called to talk to the manager only to have to call the location 10+ times, letting it ring 2+ minutes each time. Haven't been to Wendy's in many years after a bad experience at another location down Bandera Rd. I'm glad I decided to give this one a try after pumping gas at HEB next door. This Wendy's just opened and it's so refreshing to eat at a clean location. The atmosphere is very inviting and comfy. The food is what's expected at this chain, but a bit fresher, maybe because they're so busy and the inventory gets rotated. The teamwork here is superb. The gentlemen taking the order was fast, yet very courteous. He wiped down the counters and tidy up the drink area when he had a spare moment. The drive thru workers were non stop getting the orders out the window. I was very impressed with the mgmt here. Keep up the good food and teamwork! read more

Every single time I have been here I've asked for ranch, knowing that they won't give it to me, and I haven't ever gotten my sauces. They always ask me if I'd like some yet fail to give me any. It's not just ranch it's any type of sauce. I don't even enjoy Wendy's that much, but I always try to give it a try, and I regret it every time. A previous time I've come here there were cold fries mixed in with my fries and I got the wrong frosty flavor. I am a very forgiving person and I decided that I'll just eat it anyways even though that's not what I ordered. My friend went up for me and asked if I could get the right flavor and the employee remarked "she said vanilla" . That's kind of rude because.. no I didn't.
