I do not recommend this specific shop to anyone. I ordered three burgers, but they handed me cold, day-old ones instead. I refused to accept them, handed them back, and told them I wanted only fresh burgers; what did they do? They simply reheated the old burgers and gave them right back to me. We were on our way to a football game, and we were short on time, so we decided to stop in at Wendy's for a quick bite. There were only 3 vehicles in the drive-thru, so we thought that we had a pretty safe bet on getting to the football game on time. Not! Took about 10 minutes before we made it up to place our order. I ordered my combo meal and asked what else they had besides fries. The answer? Cheese fries, chili fries, or chili cheese fries. What? Really? Ugh! We paid for our order, and I was asked to pull ahead. We'll, I pulled ahead as asked, and we watched vehicle after vehicle pull out with their food. About 15 minutes passed, and someone brought us our food. If you order a taco salad at Wendy's, be prepared to receive a chopped salad with a small bowl of chili, making it a taco salad. What? I opted to go with the fries - novel idea, huh? Nope! They were cold and tasted as if they had been sitting for quite some time. This was not anything near to what we had hoped. After working very hard in the morning in Orthopedics, I was hungry for a good burger and decided to go to Wendy's. I went through the drive thru and ordered a Daves Double (just the sandwich) and a Sprite. I received my food in a timely manor, drove back to work , unraveled my burger and noticed I didn't see any lettuce. I pealed back the bun and noticed there was a sliver or lettuce, no leaf just the stem, sitting on my patty with one pickle. I became highly upset. I am very unsatisfied with the quality of this burger as it has never been this low at other facilities. wow! We went to Wendy's on Airport Hwy in Holland, OH on September 18 for National Cheeseburger Day. To redeem their offer you had to have the app. I downloaded the app and to redeem the deal you had to order online and there was something about a QR code. I couldn't figure it out so I went to go inside to ask if they could help me finish, but the dining room was closed. So, we went through the drive thru and ordered a queso burger and and for help with the offer ( get a jr. bacon cheeseburger for a penny with a purchase). The female employee was EXTREMELY RUDE. She then told us to go order it online and come back through the dive thru. oh my! This was at 3:30 and there was only one other car- it's not like they were even busy! This has to be the worst Wendy's in the Toledo area. I'm hoping that this review will help others learn from my bad experiences and, by going to a different Wendy's, avoid the many frustrations that occur at this particular store. I have given this store far too many chances to get it right; all of which ended in failure. Now I do everything possible to avoid going to this particular Wendy's, even if it means adding an extra 25 minutes to my drive. First of all, the service is horribly slow. It makes no difference if there are multiple customers or if you are the only customer. The wait time is equally long whether you go through the drive-through or by actually going into the store. Regardless of how you place your order, it will take an excruciating amount of time to get it. More than once while trying to place my order at the speaker, I'd be asked to repeat it multiple times. I could hear the loud laughter and talking in the background. Finally, the employee working the drive-through would tell his coworkers to "stop, someone is trying to order". When I'd finally get to the window, the workers could be seen continuing the goofing around, loud talking and laughter and general unprofessionalism... All as I had to wait for them to finally get around to filling my order. All of the goofing around sheds light on why orders were almost always wrong. Before I would leave the parking lot, I would always have to make sure to check to see if 1. the entire order was in the bag, 2. it was correctly made, and 3. I wasn't overcharged or given the incorrect amount if change. A correctly filled order seemed to be impossible. The food was always lukewarm. Without exception, the cheese on my burger wasn't even melted, and the nuggets were still cold in the center. The french fries were either floppy and cold, or they'd have that awful gritty taste that happens when fries get reheated. Wendy's is a high end fast food chain. The quality of the food, when compared to Burger King or McDonald's, is reflected in the price. So when I am paying the extra money, I expect better food, correct orders, and well trained staff. This branch offers none of those things... except the higher price. I'm dine with waiting my time and money on poorly made food. Instead, I will (I suggest that you should too) take my money to a different Wendy's where I know that I will get both the product and the service that I am paying for!! read more

I really like this Wendy's, they always make the food fresh for you. They once forgot something in my order so I had to drive back for it, I was really craving the five piece nugget. So I get back there, my fries are have eaten, i took a bite out of my jr. bacon cheeseburger, but befroe i got off the phone, she asked if I could bring my order back inside. So I thought it was strange, but I did. When I get in there, she takes the bag and throws it out. I said "there wasn't anything wrong with that." She wanted everything to be fresh. If I could give zero stars I would. Last night after the walleye game I stopped to get some food. I ordered 2 singles with cheese and extra tomatoes. When I get home, the extra tomatoes were not put on a sandwich but into a side salad container. When I bit into the first single, it was cold. Not only was it cold, it was not cooked all the way through as you can see in the picture. I looked at the other one and it still had some pink. It looked like they had been laying around for some time. So I drove 10-15 min back to the store to show my discern. I received a "sorry", "I know it was fresh", "our cheese doesn't melt", do you want a frosty or fries due to the inconvenience?". That is fine and dandy but it goes beyond this. My hamburgers were downright cold especially coming off a hot griddle. The others singles that I received were at least warm when I eventually made it back home. I do enough grilling and meet shouldn't be this cold or pink inside a thin piece of meat. I'm sorry, I may have to press or look at some other avenue due to the handling of this from start to finish. This Wendy's could put the public at risk for undercooking the food, especially meat. read more

We drove through the drive through window last night (10-09-15) around 21:25, or 9:25 EDT. I was hungry for a veggie burger and thought someone said that Wendy's had veggie burgers. As we ordered, we did not see anything vegan or vegetarian, low carb or any ither healthy menu items that are "heart smart." Note that heart issues are why I am going vegetarian. Instead of the white haired young black wiman saying they do not offer veggie burgers, she rang up 2 veggie sandwiches. Note that the veggie burger is ALLOT DIFFERENT than lettuce, tomato and onion on a bun. The Wendy's staff disappointed me, as they are not trained on what a food is. If someone orders a hamburger, they do not get a ham sandwich. Sorry, Wendy's really lost a customer. Also, if I wanted a veggie sandwich, I wiuld easily make those cheaper at home, not for $1.19 a piece. read more

If I could rate this 0 stars I would. I work at a fast food restaurant and I know 1. How you should treat a customer 2. How food should be made and served. There were no cars in the drive through. I placed my order pulled to the window and sat there for 3 minutes waiting for someone to come and cash me out. I ordered a hamburger no onion no pickle and a spicy go wrap. Should be pretty simple right? Wrong. I heard an employee saying in the background "who gets no cheese on a burger" and they laughed. The woman at the window said nothing but our total and handed the food out of the window. I looked in my bag and I got both my items yes. But not made correctly my "hamburger" had cheese slapped on it and was cold like it had been sitting in a cooler. My go wrap was wrapped loosely and spilling out also the chicken in the wrap had nothing but breading and was freezing cold. THIS IS A WENDY'S not a garbage can. Well, it's Wendy's. Everyone already knows what their food is like, and of course, the stars I've given this restaurant (or the chain itself) aren't on the same scale for me as with sit-down restaurants. At any rate, my friends and I always joke about this location; they've never once gotten my order right. They fix it right away, but I feel like I'm reliving a scene out of a comedy. This would probably be really annoying if I were pressed for time or didn't want to have to check my bag for the right food every time. I drive for postmates. I waited 25 minutes in line and when I finally got to the speaker and started giving the order one of the items my customer ordered was discontinued. So I said I had to contact my customer real quick and see if they would like something else. The manager rudely got on the speaker and said I had to go back through the drive thru. I said "im gonna come up to the window real quick." When I got to the window I said to the cashier "I can't wait in that line again please just take the rest of the order." She was very nice and started taking my order but then the manager came running up saying "No stop taking the order! You can't sit here you're running up my clock. Go back around" I said "I'm driving for postmates I can't wait another 25 minutes in line." He said "you have to wait like everyone else. I'm not taking your order." Which doesn't make sense because I already waited 25 minutes. So I said "I'm not going back through the drive thru." Then he called the police on me. I left before the police arrived and had to cancel my customers order. This management cares more about the time on their clock then they care about the actual experience of customers. They only take 1 order at a time and don't take another order until the other order is out. All so their clock looks good. Worst management I've ever experienced while driving for postmates. read more
