I cannot rate any of the hamburgers, sandwiches etc because I have never eaten one there, but we did have salads. They were cold, fresh, and crisp. Mine, a taco salad, came with Dave's famous chili. While it is not Texas chili, it was good. The staff was friendly, but overworked. The tables had not been wiped and there was trash in the floor. They charged $0.80 extra for the combo above the listed menu price then proceeded to charge an additional $0.80 for a cold brew coffee which was not the frosty I ordered. Me and my family was exhausted from a long 8 Hour Dr. from Dallas to Trinidad, Colorado. I tried to order something that wasn't on menu and was told I needed to order on the app. I placed my order on the app and came into the store and staff members were talking about my interaction with them at the drive-through window not knowing that I'm the person that ordered the online order, very unprofessional. I had a total of 50 nuggets and the bags were sealed. I specifically asked if there were any sauces in the bag and was told yes I get back to my hotel. Guess what no sauces in the bag. For years, we have stopped here for dinner and gas when commuting from Albuquerque to Denver. This was our last time that we will stop here. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. No toilet paper, no paper towel, trash overflowing onto the floor including soiled diapers. One stall out of order. If I didn't have to go so head, I would have left and gone somewhere else. After the bathroom experience, I should have known better than to order food. I got a grilled chicken sandwich which was cold and so over cooked and dry when I got into it, I could not even bite through the chilcken, a hard burned crust that was I edible remained after I bit through though the sandwich. The tea container was totally missing; Like someone removed it to refill it and never brought it back. The tables were dirty and had crumbs in them. It's a Wendy's. They are the same the world over. This one has a nice, open dining room and a direct door into the convenience store that shares the building. The drive-thru is designed a little weird (right-hand U-turn). Downside: The soda fountain is too close to the order line, resulting in no space to wait for your food and a slightly claustrophobic feeling while standing in line (but maybe that is just me). read more

Store was not taking orders in the drive through until the customer in front was fully served and leaving and that was taking almost 10 minutes a car. So when I pulled up to the window I asked to see a manger and was told the credit card machine was broke but when the lady came to the window she said she had to go to the bath room. The skinny dude making our order said "you need to calm down before you get your ass whooped". That upset me more and I said you ain't whooping shit. Then the brunette girl comes to the window and says don't threaten my kids, I'll quit this job and come whip your ass right now. That's when I pulled out my phone and started recording. She immediately leaves and here comes the "tough" guy threatening me to "pull up" and "on god" he is going to KILL ME The owner needs to step up and take control of this restaurant or he needs to sell it. Avoid this place like the plague. Used their mobile app to place the order. Checked in like the app said. Waited around while multiple other orders were fulfilled and they never called my name. Finally asked and it never went through. After more waiting my food came out and it was wrong, fries were cold and tough. Took the food back and asked for a refund due to food being wrong. This isn't the first time this has happened at this location. Manager initially said she couldn't do a refund, and offered to make the situation correct. This place has obviously improved since others reviewed it. Our food was good, especially the fresh fries (which was noticed by everybody at the table). My Mediterranean salad was a great healthy option. The service was very friendly (greetings, order was right, we modified it a bit after it was already closed and the guy went to the cook to tell him about the modification). The bathroom was clean although shared with another business. The only thing that could be improved is the quality of salad leaves that could be fresher.
