This is the third time in my life I have been to a Wendy's. I wasn't impressed with the first two. Several people say the spicy chicken sandwich is good so I gave it a try. I used the drive thru. The window where you normally pay had a sign saying your food is waiting at the next window. It should say pull to next window and wait there to make room for others to wait behind you. Service is very slow. The chicken sandwich was the worse I've eaten. The chicken tasted old and dry. There was no spice at all. Needless to say I probably won't return to any Wendy's for a long time. read more

I'm not sure if it's because of everything going on, but I think I'm done with eating out anywhere for a while. It's not worth it to get some mediocre food from some miserable brat that can't stand to be at work, and then pass on that negativity to the customer... My boyfriend and I went to this location last night to get food. From the beginning it was not a good situation. The guy taking the orders sounded like he was half asleep or something... barely greeted us, mumbling, etc. Ordered one homestyle chicken sandwich and one spicy chicken sandwich and a salad. Got to the window to pay, and got the same attitude from the little girl at the window. When she went to hand us the food it was kinda like "here you go" as she pretty much dropped the bag in my hand. Didn't bother to ask if we want sauce or anything and then seemed annoyed when I asked... I guess customer service isn't anyone's goal anymore. It wasn't a difficult order in my mind, but somehow it was to much for them apparently. Got home and had two homestyle sandwiches. No spicy, which is pretty much just dipping the homestyle in buffalo sauce, but somehow that was forgotten. I called and asked to speak to a manager and of course the monotone moron is the one that answers (his name, Victor, is on the receipt from taking the order). He keeps telling me he's the manager, but since he's part of my complaint, he's probably not the one to make the complaint with. He says there's another manager there, but she's below him... I say I'd prefer to speak to her then (even though she's probably the little bitch from the window). She gets on the phone and I ask if the person I was speaking to is actually the manager. No, just a shift lead. Lying and telling people he's in charge. Not sure if they're okay with that, but I wouldn't think so... after trying to explain the situation, I was told by the little brat on the phone that I need to calm down. I'm irritated because not one person even bothered to say, "Oh, I'm sorry for the mistake, how can we fix it?" Instead I was lied to and then spoken to like I'm a fucking child... that's when I lost it. I'm generally not super picky about these things, but when you're expecting something simple and you're paying for it, it should be done right. If it can't be done right, they should ay least have the decency to apologize for THEIR mistake. read more

Do not eat here! Disgusting Peter was making my burger yesterday without gloves and REACHED INTO THE BIN OF SLICED ONIONS WITH HIS BARE HANDS!!! It was so DISGUSTING!!! I WILL NEVER EAT HERE!!! There was a lady beside him wearing gloves so I do not understand why he was making the food without gloves, much less why he was reaching into a bin of onions in water with his bare hands!!! It's like he was washing his hands in the onion water. This should be a health violation and Peter needs to be addressed as soon as possible. I stopped at the Wendy's on 13922 Red Hill Avenue in Tustin. The place was nice and clean. The cashier Elvia was nice and friendly; she made sure my order was made as ordered. I ordered the Combo #1; The Breakfast Cheeseburger, fries and a diet soda. The cheeseburger; beer patty, yellow cheese, lettuce, tomato, it was a very tasty cheeseburger, soo good! The fries were lightly salted & crispy with a wonderful taste. I had a diet Coke to balance the meal. It's the same great burger and fries I remember... and who could forget the frosty? It was a quick trip through their drive-thru before we were on our way. Damn this Coronavirus! Now there is a bacon shortage at Wendy's. I ordered the Son of Baconator last nite and they only had one piece of bacon. They broke it into three small pieces and put one little piece between the patties and the other two tiny pieces with the dressings. I think they have a mayo and catsup shortage too because I had to look to see if there was any there when I couldn't taste any. After two big bites I didn't notice any bacon so I looked and found the one piece broken into three small pieces. It was easier finding Easter eggs. The odd thing is I think they have been experiencing this bacon shortage for a long time, because the last time I got one it only had two tiny pieces on it. Definitely a popular stop it seems. Lots of customers Dine-in and Drive-thru, but the workers manage deliver food in a very reasonable timeframe. (Dont think that I'm saying they're fast always, no) If there are lots of customers than expect to wait a little longer than whenever there are less-- like in any other establishment.. This is the best Wendys that I've ever been to! Their apple chicken, walnut, blue cheese, and dried cranberry salad is amazing with all fresh ingredients.. Not even the leaves were brown. I must say I was surprised because it's the same great taste as a fancy salads you'd buy for half the price! The food here always tastes fresh and their service is fast and friendly. So I never write reviews or care to take the time out of my day but, this one got to me. So I'm going through the drive thru only person there. I usually double check my orders even though as the consumer I shouldn't have to I decided this time not to due to me being the only person in the drive thru and their lobby is dead. I ordered 2 Baconator Combo with substitute 2 Baconator Fries and 2 cherry Dr pepper's . Okay I get home to find 1 Baconator and 1 Baconator fries and 2 chili's with my drinks No receipt Ummm okay I'm a little mad but ok I understand. So I go back go into the place and asked them to remake my entire order. (Btw I bring back the food for them but tossed the drinks). FYI they just tossed everything and I was not offered to keep what they already made. I'm waiting don't hear any apology or anything even a word then about 5 minutes later my orders ready and I asked for the drinks again. Her response ( I can't do that) Excuse me but yes you can you messed up my order and by the time I get home if I had kept the drinks they would have been watered down.(She says nothing to me walks away then gets the drinks) like why did you have to give me a hard time I didn't mess up the order and it's not like I came back to complain. I am now because when I got home with my 2nd order Baconator fries were filled with grease that no human can consume I threw away the fries what a waste of money and time.
