Went to this Wendy's at 2200. Went though drive through with a large order for a full shift of workers. Order came to 85$. Window worker doesn't greet or say anything the entire time while giving me the food. I sit there after taking last bags waiting for more and have to ask him was that everything. He says "yeah". Order was missing nuggets and a burger. Probably 15$ in value not there. Window worker was tall guy with Afro. If you get him expect poor service and food missing. read more

I would have given this place 1/2 a star if I could. Even though the building itself is nice, the manager is VERY obnoxious!! He doesn't have people skills and runs the place like it's his little kingdom and he's the king who lords over all his employees and guests. I've been here several times and it's the same every time ... He's VERY LOUD and constantly talks at the top of his voice the ENTIRE time we are eating. We can't even hear our conversation at our own table because he is so loud and rude!!! UPDATE: Decided to order with family again. The drive thru line took forever. It seemed like they were rushing judging that they almost forgot to give the medium strawberry lemonade we ordered. Yes, they were rushing the orders. Instead, we got a large strawberry lemonade. They forgot our medium fries and a straw. What's worse, is the drink itself. Upon closer inspection, there was this bug in the drink!!! We called and they apologized, offering a replacement for free. read more

All i can say about Wendy's in Wahiawa is that I love the Son of Baconator burger! They spread a special dressing in it and the bacon was crispy and my burger tasted like I just got it off the bbq grill at the beach! YUM! That is all. I remember hearing that Wendy's promises "Never Frozen" meat so I think that is why my burger patty tasted fresh. Is the meat local in Hawaii? Located in the Wahiawa town, this is a nice little place. The dine in section is open, but you kind of have to wipe the table down. We used the mobile app to order as convenience and to collect points. You can pay through the app too. If you want the fish burger, they discontinued that. The drive thru line can be long at this location as most people do drive thru. read more

After waiting in the drive though for-I KID YOU NOT-20 minutes with no hope of moving forward, we parked. After getting to the front of the line, we asked the employees why it was that the drive through wasn't moving in which the lady replied "we are understaffed today, so we are just attending to the indoor customers." When suggesting maybe closing the drive through due to the long unattended line of customers outside IN the drive through, which she replied with "Oh no it's still open." I was less than impressed with the staff. Though this location is consistently busy, they are severely understaffed. Customers were literally yelling at the employees, and the food suffered immensely (my frosty consisted of chocolate syrup in a cup). There was clearly no management on duty and the employees had no idea how to control the crowd. I will never return. read more

Breakfast to 2pm is solid. As soon as that night shift comes in the store turns into the worst possible fast food experience you could ever produce. Nothing is freshly made, NOTHING! They don't care Management doesn't care either. I've called multiple times about hard buns old burgers and cold food and no change. I am 100% sure they leave burgers pre-made on heater and they don't follow the life span time limits of how long food sits before it needs to be thrown. Fire the whole night shift and start over! I love Wendy's never have issues for the most part. But this same particular incident happens to me. I order nuggets and I'll request BBQ sauce. Okay, so its the busiest time of the year for us - so when I pick my children up I've been purchasing fast food. We went to Wendys again last Tuesday. THEY FORGOT ONE OF THE BURGERS! I don't really write review on bad foods but i feel like i should. I got hamburger and while i was chewing, i felt hard piece mingled in beef patties. So i spitted out and found light blue plastic pieces. I am sure this is from pattie. I didn't do anything about it but i fee like i am obligated to write review for future customers. And i ordered vanilla frosty and they didn't have vanilla flavor, only chocolate. I didn't mind at fist but it tasted nothing like chocolate flavored frosty at all. I would give this no stars if I could. This was my first and last time coming to this location. I came through the drive thru tonight (11pm 10/07/2020) and they had 3 workers. I told the guy my order 2 times and he got it mixed up, so I had to repeat it. I went up to the window and they forgot 1 part of my order so I had to drive back around to re-order it because he didn't get it the first two times. Drove up to the window the second time around and he was laughing with his coworkers and they were all trying to be funny. I wasn't going to write a review but I had an awesome experience that I had to! Finished work, going grab a bite before heading home. Stopped here to eat. Ordered a Son of Baconator meal. It was an hour or so before they closed. Pretty slow. I pay, get my drink, pick a table, then waited for my food. The guy in front of me got his food served to him because he was elderly, pretty nice. Then the commotion occurred, I overheard them, "Did you make (My sandwich without Mayo!)" The sandwich was missing. They got together trying to figure out what happened. I'm patient, no rush got finished with work so I wanted to relax. I went to the counter, looked at the menu, the decor, waiting for my order. Empty restaurant, four tables used at most. When I got my order, the person who gave it to me said, 'Sorry, we upgraded you to a Baconator because you had to wait!" WOW, never expect that but Thanks! Was looking for a small meal but got the bigger meal. That was very kind of them. I would of taken a free Frosty, but FREE Upgrade is reasonable. So I took back the brown salad leaves and leftover salad. There was no problem replacing it with another salad (not getting that mozzarella one again--they used cut tomatoes instead of the grape tomatoes shown in their advertising. :p )--I love that apple/pecan/blue cheese one, like I said previously. The woman who handled the exchange was friendly enough but she told me next time (next time?) to call "so you can 'document' it". I told her I tried to call numerous times, last night AND in the past and the calls go to a fax sound. She told me, "no, it doesn't." I tried calling the number (n the top of the receipt) and sure enough, fax sound. I then tried it from my work cell phone, and that one did go through. Weird. Anyway, enjoying my salad now. Me and my boyfriend ordered 2 chicken nugget meals with a strawberry frosty, literally 15 seconds later we go to pay. $19 for a burger and fries. Not our order. The manager says we paid for the wrong order, and will be rung up. I repeatedly told them my order and they told us we ordered an Asiago chicken sandwich meal. We had to tell them our order for the 6th time? Then we receive a bag with just 10pc nuggets. We got rang up again for $19 and only got 10pc nuggets? If zero was an option that would be it. By far the worst experience I've ever had with wendys. All I wanted was a drink, we pulled up to the location and the drive thru was long. So, I decided it would be quicker to just go inside to order since it was just a drink. WRONG! There were two people standing in line waiting to order. Apparently, they were standing there for a long time and we're not greeted or told they'd be helped soon because one of them walked out. I asked the girl if she ordered and she said 'no I've been waiting for them to come over here'. No one walked over, and someone came close to where we were standing and looked in our direction but, nothing was said. What fast food restaurant doesn't have a line through the drive thru.. anyways, inside is always nice and cold.. my Wife and daughter loves their food, and the employees were always polite and professional. You're in Wahiawa and you're definitely not feeling adventurous, and the McDonald's has sketchy characters walking around it from the bus stop. Enter the newer, revamped Wendy's. If Wendy went off to college and spent most of those years at the campus cafés, then came home to open a franchise, this looks like what she would create. Veers more into the "come hang out, buy multiple little things, stay for hours" kind of place than "eat and get out now now now". Why? 1. Flat screen TV 2. See-thru fireplace (but WHY?--small, useless, and for looks only, I think) 3. Charging station at counter seating with multiple outlets (almost one at each stool) 4. Free wi-fi throughout 5. A large round table for, um, dare I say (gasp) meetings? Ok, I've seen people do this. A lot. Is it Bible Study? Is it a lack of office meeting space? A wonderment... 6. Smaller, moveable café tables 7. Low slung, lounging area under flat screen TV 8. Dark concrete floors 9. Revamped food display/ordering area (more Cocina than McDonald's) 10. Outdoor seating, complete with patio umbrellas All that said, went on a weekday for lunch. Packed with greensuiters. Like an extension of the chow hall, just in a Wendy's. Therefore, few tables at first but high turnover, so just wait a minute if no seating is immediately available. Bathrooms were decent, although main door strangely has a token slot. Ignore it. Just push on the door. Parking can be difficult. Beware of the drive through lane if you are parallel parking on the right side as you enter. No problems with ordering, food temp, speed, customer service, cleanliness, or correctness. Other reviews seem to have had bad customer service at the drive through, but we've had no problems yet. Nothing outstanding on the food (hey, it's a Wendy's) but nothing glaringly horrible. Most notable for its new look and...amenities, for lack of a better term. I would've expected this kind of setup in Waikiki, but here it is in Wahiawa, across from the Smokehouse. Good for a quick lunch in Wahiawa if you want something cheap and cheerful, in cleaner digs than most around town. Would return. read more

First off I want to say how EXCITED I was for Wendy's to be coming back to Wahiawa! I eyed up that building as it was coming up and marveled on how beautiful the new Wendy's was! I couldn't wait to patronize such a fine-looking establishment! Well the day finally came yesterday. I had just finished getting a pedicure and the huzzband & I were looking for a little snack. Perfect excuse to go to Wendy's!! The drive thru line was long, but I wasn't surprised since anything new is always exciting and busy. I was kind of surprised that there wasn't a menu before the ordering point and that threw me for a loop. I had to rush to see what I wanted, and I hate being rushed. So I ordered our frosties first (chocolate for me, vanilla for the huzzband), then the huzzband's #6, and was about to order my chili and nuggets when the girl said "that'll be $3 something." Obviously she'd only gotten the frosties. So I told her that I wanted to order more and she just said to add it on at the window. At the window she only added on the #6, then walked away so I gave up on ordering my food. I gave her my debit card and didn't even get a receipt. I was very very disappointed and ended up going to Jack in the Box to get some food. I was still upset when I passed there again today. I know I will get over it, and Wendy's will get over it's growing pains, so I will be back again. I am looking forward to giving this beautiful new Wendy's a better review. read more

I gave this place a shot when they first opened and it absolutely could not have been worse. After waiting in the drive through for a ridiculous amount of time I parked and went inside to order. It took 15min to get the wrong order and what was inside the bag was cold with actual frozen parts :/ For some odd reason I thought I should give them another try. MISTAKE! I remember when Wendy's was in this spot a looooooooong time ago. It wasn't memorable. The restaurant was run down, the parking lot sucked, and the food was mediocre. I was excited to give them a try once they redesigned and reopened. I liked the new look and the parking situation was a little bit better. It's just in a tough spot because there's so much traffic going up California Ave at that intersection. Drive-thru line is ALWAYS long. Seriously. ALWAYS. It's easier to walk in and get your food. Staff is pleasant and friendly. We've gone several times and have never had an issue. In fact, this Wendy's probably has the friendliest staff I've encountered from a fast food joint. Kudos! Food. Always HOT and FRESH (each time we've gone). I tried the 'Asiago ranch chicken club' (yum!!!) and my BF had the 'son of baconator' (he enjoyed it). We tried the original chicken nuggets (not bad at all!) as well as the spicy chicken nuggets (meh). Another time my BF had the chili cheese fries (one bite and he threw it away), the baked potato (he liked it, but uh it's a baked potato!?), and we tried a frostee which we don't seem to be fans of.
