That response was unbelievable considering the mistake was theirs, not mine. In the end, I gave up trying to get the food I had already paid for because it wasn't worth the hassle. What bothered me most was the attitude and lack of accountability. If a restaurant argues over remaking an order they forgot, it really makes you question how seriously they take customer service, food quality, and even basic food handling standards behind the scenes. Mistakes happen, but refusing to promptly correct them -- and acting inconvenienced by doing so -- does not inspire confidence. She greeted people as they came in and bid them have a good day as they left. Ms. Alexis was managing the store during all this, prioritizing orders, delegating tasks, all that. Throughout the experience, they were kind, warm, and hard-working. As I waited for my order, I watched the hustle and bustle of the workers diligently filling orders. It appeared that there was only one waitress for the whole restaurant. She was a little older and seemingly doing the best she could. All I could think of is that poor lady. My personal sized pizza was more than enough for me, but probably very small for others. It tasted great initially going down, however, woke up in the middle of the night with very bad stomach aches. I'm impressed by the work ethic of everybody in the restaurant and doing the best they can with what they're given.
