I had the spare put on and the tow truck driver recommended coming to the city to this spot. They totally hooked it up! Professional and efficient, they took the tire, buffed out the rim and I just needed air in the tire thank goodness! The price was fair and reasonable! The wires of the tire was not supposed to be out there like that especially on a good looking tire. That it could've been worse if we didn't slow down when we noticed the car driving weirdly.. 1 tire had a huge bubble and popped unknowingly and then after a few days the car started driving weirdly again and smelling of rubber so we looked and seen 3 HUGE bubbles on the inside of the tire. He said the 2nd tire was so bad he never see anything like that and hes surprised how we made it to him for a new tire. We knew it was bad but the way it looked when he took it off looked like it could explode in someone's face any minute. We wasted 80$ for 2 tires from Rodriguez Rims & Tires just for the tires to be defective and deadly..Please go elsewhere they don't give good tires.. I was told there was availability at 3:00 PM, so I arrived at that time. When I walked in, Ruben was at the counter. He greeted me and was friendly at first. I explained that I had been told I could come in a day earlier. As soon as I said this, his whole demeanor changed. There was an awkward silence, so I asked if he needed my information or anything from me. He responded angrily, saying, "You caught me in the middle of something! I can't write you up right now. I'll put you in the line." I then asked whether I should wait at the counter or have a seat. He snapped again and said I could do either. I sat down, and for the next 30 minutes, he never once asked for my name, vehicle information, or anything related to my original appointment. He never let me know when I would be written up or gave any estimate of the wait. During this time, several other customers came in. He greeted them kindly, wrote up tickets for them, and even told one couple he would get them out ASAP. Meanwhile, he continued going in and out of the service area and taking calls without acknowledging me at all. This was my first time trying to do business with Just Tires, and the lack of professionalism and courtesy left a very bad impression. I had no issue with waiting -- the issue was his attitude and complete lack of customer service. I ended up calling another business, who treated me with respect and handled my concerns immediately. Ruben overheard my entire conversation as I was leaving and still didn't attempt to address the situation. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I do not plan to return.

We replaced the tire with my spare donut from the back but as those are only supposed to drive 50-70 miles and we had 300+ miles left to go, we needed to buy a longer lasting spare tire or replacement tire. My AAA - freakin useless, my liberty mutual roadside - useless, called every tow company, tire shop and roadside service in eastern Iowa, and in Illinois... not like we were in the middle of nowhere. Found one roadside that would bring a spare tire but they wanted $1,000 card hold..... We spoke to 30+ different places within that hour... Tires24 was literally the only place somewhat on the way that was open late. Someone answered right away, the guy on phone was patient and nice, assured us he would take us, even though we couldn't get there until right before closing because we had to drive below speed limit on the donut. When we got there, Lamont (the gentleman working) greeted us and understood and sympathized with our stressful trip there. He replaced the tire efficiently and was super professional and welcoming. The cost was surprisingly affordable, we weren't there very long at all which was great because we were exhausted. Lamont saved our asses and we highly recommend anyone in the NW illinois area call these guys first for tire and auto issues.

It should not have taken 4 back to back visits to finally get satisfaction which was the return of my money. 1st visit - tire low, nail in it, employee patched it without removing the tire. 2nd visit on same day - same tire low again, Boss man had employee take it off this time, told me I actually needed a new one- no problem. 3rd visit - ABS and traction symbol on dash, car wobble when driving, employee tells me it's not the tire and ABS is about my air conditioning system. He had to ask another employee what it was...smh. Nothing is done so I have a friend actually take it off to find out the tire was bad. For years this has been my go to spot for any type of tire care I needed but today (4th visit) was the end. The snarl remarks and aggressive tone from Boss Man talking to his guys about what I 'should have done in the first place' as he walked away from my vehicle totally unnecessary. Hell - tell me what I should have done... brought a brand new tire? I would have with no problem. I could've even replaced it with another good used tire but when he became a walking smart ass, I was done and just wanted my money back. Hell even an employee was like "Yea it wasn't me...go off on them!" I was upset about the tire situation but I never became disrespectful to him or any of his employees. So with all of that being said use your own discretion. I could say more especially about what they do when Boss Man not around but that would be petty. Let's just say the BBB need to do a pop up!
