BE WARNED - you will get bruises and be sore, but its one of the most rewarding experiences ever! All the teachers are wonderful! Celeste is my go to lyra hoop teacher. Jen, Jenn, Christina, Amy are my go to pole teachers now that im more advanced! Mei is my favorite beginner pole teacher and now teaches mostly at the new SJ location. Lisa, Debbie and Jen also have amazing heels choreo classes! Andy is my chair/sensual heels teacher and always brings the heat! Cindy and Rissa will get you flexible in no time! And Luna is an amazing hammocks teacher and performer! Jen fosters a welcoming community and truly cares about each student that comes through the studio. She runs the studio more like a friend group that fosters encouragment and positivty throughout the business.

At the other places I've been (not naming names, as I'm sure they're fine at what they specialize in), the instructors will show you how to do a move and then shrug if you can't do it. Here, they'll show adjustments or a previous progression and help you figure out how to do a move with patience and encouragement, and they won't leave you adrift feeling like you can't do something and not know why. She gave us a quick tour and shared such kind, encouraging words, which really helped calm those "trying something new" nerves. Our instructor, Louise, was phenomenal. She kept the energy up the entire class, checked in on everyone, and made sure we all felt supported with hands-on guidance when needed. I'll be honest, I have zero rhythm and dancing does not come naturally to me, but I had SO much fun. What really stood out was the community. Everyone was so sweet and supportive, and even the other girls in class were offering tips and cheering each other on. My friend and I will definitely be back, it was such a blast. I've been coming to Inspiration Studios for many years now, and it's one of my favorite places to…read moretrain and unwind. They offer both Pole and Aerial classes, each with their own vibe and energy. Pole classes are held in Suite N and tend to have a bolder, more expressive atmosphere. Aerial classes are in Suite O and are usually calmer and more focused on flow and form. Make sure you head to the correct suite depending on your class. When you arrive, just check in with the instructor, or follow the lead of others in the room. Some instructors like to check everyone in personally, while others are more casual about it. It's a no-shoes kind of space. For Aerial, you're usually barefoot or in socks. For Pole, you're either barefoot or in heels depending on the class. I've taken a variety of classes over the years, but these days I'm more focused on Aerial. I especially want to shout out KC, who is my favorite instructor. She's clear, encouraging, and just a great teacher overall. Her classes are the perfect mix of supportive and challenging, and I always leave feeling stronger and more confident. I've been a student since the studio was called Poletential, back when it was under different ownership. It's been great to see the space evolve while still staying a welcoming and empowering place to train.

The community at RMF has been so inclusive and welcoming of myself and everyone I've seen come through the doors over the years. Learning aerials has allowed me to feel strong and confident in a way I never had before while having a ton of fun in a great space. What's nice is that they have an adult class (Fri 2pm-3pm) now so you don't have to worry about a 7 year old martial arts champion double backflipping over you when you're attempting a cartwheel. Atmosphere is supportive and inviting-- for all ages and genders alike. Everyone I've met there was happy to help and cheer each other on. Sometimes they have famous DJs during their open gym (M/W/F 8pm-10pm, Sat noon) which is also really cool. I've brought my friends and they all love it. Clean bathrooms, knowledgeable instructors. By far the worst and most unprofessional experience I've ever had with a coach…read more As a fitness coach who has worked with many coaches over the years, I have high standards for professionalism, but Coach Daniel failed on every level. I was randomly assigned to Coach Daniel after the intro class with Coach Mark. Not too long after I worked with him, I realized his punctuality and communication were a total mess. He was late to our very first session and kept showing up late after that. (Screenshot #2) Other than his constant tardiness, he was frequently distracted and disengaged while training me. It got to the point where he completely no-showed on me once without any heads-up (Screenshot #3）. After I brought up my concerns about his punctuality, hoping things would change, he even explicitly admitted in text messages that the business has no formal policy for coach no-shows or severe delays, and unpunctuality and missed lessons are a regular issue among the coaches at this gym (Screenshot #1 & #3）. For our latest session he claimed at the last minute he would be 45 minutes late again and even unilaterally decided to hand me off to another coach without my permission (Screenshot #5）. When I reached out to discuss his professional attitude, he literally ghosted me for days with zero response. When he finally got back to me, there was no apology or explanation, just "I think it's best moving forward that you work with a different coach" or offered a refund(Screenshot #6）. On top of being constantly late and ghosting me, Coach Daniel went out of his way in our texts to poison my view of the entire coaching team. He constantly talked trash about his colleagues behind their backs, mocked other coaches' client progress (Screenshot #4), bragged about poaching clients from his coworkers (Screenshot #7), and tried to stir up random drama by claiming other trainers were creeping around his clients (Screenshot #8). Rather than just doing his job, he was busy gossiping, throwing people under the bus, and creating a toxic environment. I have formally reported to the Better Business Bureau (BBB Case #25170416) with full text and message record evidence. Loopkicks is honestly too good of a facility to have a coach like this. It's a pity that a quality gym like Loopkicks allows such unprofessional behavior from a coach. If you value your time and money, stay away from Daniel Nguyen.

They are incredibly supportive in my growth and skills. I encourage everyone I meet to try it at least twice because the classes are so liberating!! Come prepared with socks, knee pads, a sports bra, and shorts. After warm ups, the first half of class is choreo and the second half is for tricks. Don't BS your technique because the instructors prioritize technique and safe movements!!! The environment is so welcoming, too. I've made friends with the regular girls I see in class. I love how sociable and open everyone is... it makes classes here even better!

I've attended classes with Ly, Yisha, Jane, Yoko, Jo, Katya, and some other guest and sub instructors. There are a variety of classes offered for a fair price point. Each instructor has their own teaching style, but they all focus on student success and encouragement. I originally started pole dancing as a way to honor myself and my body, and with the help of the instructors, I've gained a level of self confidence that I never had. If I ever need to cancel class, Ly always checks to make sure I'm okay and asks if I need anything. Even though she has a lot of students, she's very caring and mindful of each individual. The classes are structured with a warm up, the instruction and practice, time to record/practice independently, and a cool down. The instructors provide hands on spotting throughout class and will walk you through any move to ensure safe techniques to avoid injury or troubleshoot if a move isn't working for you. Instructors will also provide simpler or more advanced variations of one move to ensure access and a challenge for each student. I am a pretty sensitive and shy person, but the community at this studio helps me break out of my comfort zone with a lot of positive encouragement. I highly recommend Ly's pole studio for your aerial arts journey.

He is a passionate, veteran instructor who will also keep you safe. I enjoyed his cues such as smiling, or reminders to slow down and really feel engagement of my body to do certain tricks. I hope to go again! Maybe even check out the aerial yoga class. :) I have been recommending his studio specifically to my friends who are into burlesque, but I also know he'd make any novice feel both comfortable and rewarded with just the right amount of challenge. :)

The hot yoga session wasn't steaming hot that the mirrors will fog; they just turn up the thermometer to 80 degrees. I had no trouble following the positions and moves throughout the session, except I'm not flexible enough to flex backwards like a sandwich. After an hour session, we clean the equipment and handed cool eucalyptus towels to wipe the sweat off. Smells good and relaxing after hot yoga. Valeria was kind to ask everyone how's the class and the assistant made me sign a waiver and take a photo despite I was in a rush. I would definitely come back when I'm around Sunnyvale. Overall, it's a small studio with restrooms, a cubbyhole, and a mini clothing store in one place. It's conveniently located at the corner of the Orange parking garage. You just walk out the lot from the left and make a left until you see YogaSix.
