A few companies responded. One company was booked until September while another company declined. A third company was able to show up the same day to measure and provide an estimate. MacVane Electrical was the fourth company to reply but was the quickest to provide an estimate after I texted pictures of the circuit boxes as well as an approximate distance. I was hesitant due to lack of online reviews. Phil (Sr.) quickly responded in the same evening with an estimate as well as a commitment to show up the next day to do the work. Phil (Jr) arrived the next day (Tuesday) as promised along with Ray, and both got the work done in about 2 hours. Both are super nice guys. Turns out Phil and his father started the company just 6 months ago, hence there are few to no reviews online. They are friendly, clean, and thoroughly explained the work that needed to be done. Phil Jr was so thorough that after he finished and left, he called the sauna company to verify the type of plug the sauna required. He then came back an hour or so later to replace the receptacle to the correct type. I phoned Finelli electric because they were referred to me. I had lights that went out after use…read moreof a blow drier and the breaker was broken. Mr. Finelli sounded busy but would fit me in and he phoned the very next morning as he was working in my condo complex and could squeeze me in. He found that the breaker had gotten stuck and it was a quick adjustment with his screw driver when he removed the box. He said sometimes they get stuck. I went to pay him and he did not take payment for the adjustment. He also kindly walked me to the other side of the building and showed me where my main breaker was located, because I asked him if he could let me know its location. He was accommodating and pleasant. He also arrived promptly. When I went to write him a check he told me that there would be no charge for the simple adjustment. Wow! Needless to say if I ever need anything done again that is major I will be phoning Finelli.as he is skilled, reliable and reasonable. He could have easily charged me. Someone who does not charge for a service call for an adjustment is someone who I can trust!

Eight months later, after being not communicated back to, he came in and installed the permanent service panel They did not bring everything required to complete the job. After repeatedly trying to get him to finish the job he had been paid in full for I gave up and hired a different electrician to complete the install and repair a mistake that was done on the initial install. My mistake was paying him in full before the job was done. I would advise anyone using his service to be sure the job is complete and correct before any payment is made.
