We have come out to this farm for many events, and it's always such a good time. They have a lot to do for adults, big kids, and little kids, and my kids are always obsessed with the dirt pile. I would recommend wearing shoes that can get dirty since it is a farm. The family that runs it is very friendly, and I always enjoy talking with them. Their kids sometimes come play with my kids too, and it's just the sweetest. There's lots of parking and plenty of space for everyone. We recently went to the tomato and sunflower festival where they had fluffy cows, food trucks, kids games, flower cut and keep, veggie picking, a farmers market, and yummy lemonade, and it really was a great time. I attended the fall festival at the farm. There were a variety of vendors, clean bathrooms, lots of activities for kids. The photo opportunities allowed for great fall pictures. However the parking was confusing. The quality of some of the food vendors was disappointing. The u-pick vegetables were limited. I hope to return when there are more crops available. Stopped by for the strawberry festival... it was a rip off. Most of the vendors and food options were sold out, you are basically paying $15 to walk around a dirt pit. If you are going to advertise on social media you need to be prepared for a crowd. Clearly very underprepared. read more

Real farm not far from the hustle and bustle in St John's County, off I-95! Several times a year they have Art/Craft shows, like today, Tomato Festival! They have "You pick 'em" opportunities too for the whole family! If you check their website they and camping on the grounds too..kind of luxury camping! First Pumpkin Festival for Wesley Farms started a bit overwhelming with traffic control but ended into a wonderful family event. Visiting local farms that offer events is a desirable for communities today and if done right can help the community and family. Wesley's Pumpkin Festival offered vendors, food trucks, kids play area and pick your own pumpkin pack and Vegetables patches. I'm sure they will figure out crowd parking issues and offer a even better event next time. read more

Awesome experience! When we arrived, the woman farmer (forgot her name sorry!) was super kind and friendly. She welcomed us and explained the U-pick process and gave us tips on what to look for. Definitely try some of the baked food they have available for purchase - super good! read more

Loved the experience! Went for the Christmas event Dec. 9th. I brought my 12 year son, we went on the tractor ride with the owner, Mr. Wesley, explaining the fields and the farms family history. I loved it! He liked the tug-of-war and faux cattle wrangler. We got some pumpkin bread with vegan icing on top from vendor ~Millie's Krumbs~ SO good!!!! The icing was a little melted, so I put it in the fridge and I thought the bread would dry out, but no, still MOIST! We got a pressed, turkey brushwood club and TOTS from ~YBOR food truck~ Outstanding! So tasty. The bacon was crisp! We also got an energy freeze drink from ~Family Grounds Coffee ~ It tasted like an iced pixie stick. That woke up my tired pre-teen :) We had a great time. The fresh air and sun light were rejuvenating. Thank you Lord. read more

Love Love Love....did I say LOVE?!? Found this awesome farm on facebook, while I was looking for a place to pick blueberries. Wesley Wells Farm came up and I saw that they offered appointments you could schedule via Facebook, so I booked an appointment for Saturday. I popped their address into my GPS and it wasn't a super long drive. I'd say about 30 minutes total. Just an FYI, you turn down a dirt road, you may think "hey, am I going right way?" Yes, you are. We parked in their grass lot and walked to a little red house. When we arrived at 9:30 am, we saw a few other people outside picking (what I assumed were blueberries). We saw boxes of fresh produce: tomatoes, cucumbers, Asian eggplant, regular eggplant, etc. We waited for my sister and her kids, and a nice woman greeted us and explained the options. Option one: You could do a you pick for $25: whatever you could fill in one of their 5 gallon buckets (literally) OR for $35 you could fill one of their five gallon buckets with whatever produce they had already picked. I asked the woman what about blueberries and she said she just got word that they were out. While I was a little bummed, I wasn't for long when she explained we'd be able to pick whatever produce they had out (corn...she said was about 1.5 weeks from being ready to pick, zucchini, yellow squash, peppers, green beans, eggplant, tomatoes, lots of options). We decided to do the $25 you pick, and split the cost. Each row of crops was labeled, so you knew what you were picking. I have to say, this was such a fun experience for both me and my kiddo. It's a great teachable moment about the hard work the farmers and their families do, so we can enjoy our produce. It was also really fun for him to be able to pick his own veggies. We also picked a bunch of wildflowers, from sunflowers to bells of Ireland, and even dill (which FYI, I didn't know how pretty the flower on a dill plant was and super fragrant). While we were picking, one of the owners, a gentleman (Mr. Wells, a third generation farmer) thanked us for coming and asked if we needed any help or if there was anything we were looking for. My mom said she'd like a few eggplant and he went out to the crop and picked a few for her (it doesn't get fresher than that!). We lugged our five gallon bucket up to pay and Mr. Wells and his kiddos were so nice, helpful, and appreciative of people coming out to the farm. We were so glad we got to experience picking our own food and flowers and really enjoyed it. We also purchased a few cucumbers and eggplants from the pre-picked boxes they had out (which were mainly two for a dollar). With flowers, a five gallon bucket of veggies, and some pre-picked veggies, and an additional $2 credit card fee, our bill came to $33 (honestly, this was such a bargain). Pros: -Fun experience for kids and adults -Unique way to see how your food is grown -A steal at $25 a bucket -A lot of parking -Support local Cons: -None Tips: Check their Facebook and IG posts for updates regarding what's in season and when to pick. Also, be sure to wear old shoes (and closed-toed shoes), as it can get muddy. read more

This farm is by far our favorite in NE Florida. How could anyone ever leave a bad review? I've taken my toddlers here several times and we all have a BLAST. The family that runs this farm is refreshingly kind and warm. I would undoubtedly recommend you attend any events held on this farm (plus all of the products we've consumed- veggies, herbs, strawberries, etc- have all been delicious!). read more

I made the best Caesar salad for dinner tonight with freshly picked romaine lettuce from Wesley Farm. Lettuce was just delicious!

Well we drove all the way there because my 3 and 5 year old were excited to go to a farm. 1 minute away and there were no signs. When I called I asked the lady if she could help us and she just could not care less. I said I see a road and GPS says it's your farm and there is a Teepee up the road is that you and she said I have no idea what your talking about so I said we just passed Ashley road or something like that and she said yeah you went past the farm... I said I realize that and she said I can't help you !! No giving us directions , we were 1 minute away no " here take this road and turn on this road" ... nothing she was just rude and clearly didn't care to have business or anything. Coming from NewEngland Farm country in East Kingston I couldn't believe how miserable and sad this woman was and not caring about helping patrons. This farm is only a few years old and I give it one more year because these people are far from the kind farmers and country folk that truly live by the land for generations. These are probably New Yorkers playing a role who bought some land. Shame on you for your lack of community, courtesy, or care of people wanting to give you their business.
