    Gourds Gone Wild!

Real farm not far from the hustle and bustle in St John's County, off I-95! Several times a year they have Art/Craft shows, like today, Tomato Festival! They have "You pick 'em" opportunities too for the whole family! If you check their website they and camping on the grounds too..kind of luxury camping! Today there are 7 food trucks, live music, farm animal viewing, etc.

First Pumpkin Festival for Wesley Farms started a bit overwhelming with traffic control but ended into a wonderful family event. Visiting local farms that offer events is a desirable for communities today and if done right can help the community and family. Wesley's Pumpkin Festival offered vendors, food trucks, kids play area and pick your own pumpkin pack and Vegetables patches. I'm sure they will figure out crowd parking issues and offer a even better event next time.

Awesome experience! When we arrived, the woman farmer (forgot her name sorry!) was super kind and friendly. She welcomed us and explained the U-pick process and gave us tips on what to look for. Definitely try some of the baked food they have available for purchase - super good!

Loved the experience! My kids enjoyed picking strawberries and they were so fresh and ripe. I filled up a bucket of fresh veggies for only $40.

    Catching some cattle

Loved the experience! Went for the Christmas event Dec. 9th. I brought my 12 year son, we went on the tractor ride with the owner, Mr. Wesley, explaining the fields and the farms family history. I loved it! He liked the tug-of-war and faux cattle wrangler. We got some pumpkin bread with vegan icing on top from vendor ~Millie's Krumbs~ SO good!!!! The icing was a little melted, so I put it in the fridge and I thought the bread would dry out, but no, still MOIST! We got a pressed, turkey brushwood club and TOTS from ~YBOR food truck~ Outstanding! So tasty. The bacon was crisp! We also got an energy freeze drink from ~Family Grounds Coffee ~ It tasted like an iced pixie stick. That woke up my tired pre-teen :) We had a great time. The fresh air and sun light were rejuvenating. Thank you Lord.

Great way of life out here As I am righting this review I am currently at the event! Great place for family time for the holiday season, alot of events and great food! Alot of animals to see and Last but not least the vegetable picking! Will be back soon!

I made the best Caesar salad for dinner tonight with freshly picked romaine lettuce from Wesley Farm. Lettuce was just delicious!

You might see tractors roll up through out the day bringing fresh picked broccoli or cauliflower. The carrots and potatoes are also grown right here, berries are local; and more I'm not thinking of for sure. The flavor and quality of the produce will knock your socks off!! County Line makes me seem like a better chef than I am, because everything tastes so good!! The fruit - berries, citrus, mangoes, bananas, you name it! They have several refrigerator coolers as well, where you can get herbs and lettuces. There are some locally made goods as well, local honey, barbecue and hot sauces, etc. The people are knowledgeable, kind and wildly efficient. The most amazing thing is their prices. The cauliflower is at least twice as large as what's sold at the grocery store; it tastes ten times better, and costs half. I have doubled the amount of vegetables we're eating weekly for less than I would have spent at the grocery store, and it tastes so good! Driving out each weekend has become a little ritual for me. I slow down, enjoy the drive, select wholesome, fresh for the week, and most weeks I get to see one of the farmers there unloading fresh veggies from their tractor and I get to thank someone who is integral to feeding my family. I'm sad when my schedule occasionally doesn't permit me to go. Good to know: bring cash, they don't accept cards. There is an ATM onsite, but course there is always a fee for using standalone machines. Such a special place, I wish them everything good.
