During the negotiation for my recent vehicle purchase, the sales team agreed to give me certain discounts, which made it seem like they were trying to offer a fair deal. However, when it came time to finalize the paperwork, those promised "discounts" somehow disappeared and were replaced with additional charges and fees that were never clearly explained beforehand. Even worse, shortly after purchasing the vehicle we started experiencing multiple mechanical issues. We ended up dealing with several repairs soon after buying the car, which should not happen when purchasing a vehicle that was presented as being in good condition. This created a lot of unexpected stress and additional expenses. The entire experience felt misleading and dishonest. What was promised during the sales discussion did not match the final paperwork, and the condition of the vehicle clearly did not match what was represented during the sale. Buying a vehicle should be a transparent and trustworthy process, but unfortunately that was not the case here. Because of my experience, I strongly advise others to be extremely cautious. If you are considering buying a vehicle from this company, please think twice before doing business with them. Based on my experience, this dealership is misleading and difficult to trust, and I truly regret purchasing a vehicle from them.

When I asked around about their reputation and did some research, I got nothing but a lot of past negativity. I was advised to stay away by some of the Porsche experts in the field whom care about me deeply and have a great friendship with. You guessed it, I proceeded anyways with the vision that finding a combo like this isn't an everyday opportunity - This is when I first connected with Parin Shah, to explore the car and its background. Parin and the CMC folks were nothing short of incredibly honest, forthcoming and fair in describing the car. Parin himself spoke with me multiple times, getting me everything I needed and gave me full access to the car for PPI at another dealer. My review on the PPI in the Chicago are is here, and once again thanks to the Barnaba team: https://rennlist.com/forums/993-turb...993-turbo.html- Parin and my sales lead Chris Moran were truly awesome. The deal was a very fair one, the car checked out perfectly with the thorough PPI. I just received the car and took for a drive, it is incredible and 100% as described. In fact, they under promised and over delivered. What a gorgeous 993 Turbo! I also like to say that Parin and the CMC team showed so much Good-Will towards building a relationship - in an effort to build towards the Porsche community and win my business as a potential future client. They were punctual, follow-through A+ and delivered on every single promise they made. I was direct with Parin the first time we talked, I asked him about the negative thoughts out in the market. He was very mature, honest and respectful towards that opinion. He said "give me a chance" - boy am I glad that i did. Parin, Chris and the CMC team : Thank you so much for your hard work and for delivering to me Iris Blue as promised. You have won a client for life!

I bought a 2004 Buick LeSabre that was in great condition for the year and mileage. You can tell they look to purchase quality cars to sell. If I were to do it all over again I wouldn't have picked any other place to purchase my car. Runs great

    ~~~BUYER BEWARE~~~…read more Worst car buying experience I've ever had. I found the car online and spoke to Tony (Anthony - the owner) on the phone. He assured me the car was 100% like new, with no accidents, rust, etc. The pictures seemed to agree to what he said, but then again, all you have to do is photograph the car at the right angle and any issues are unnoticeable. We agreed to terms, including a 3 day return period if I was not satisfied (since I'm buying the car unseen) and arranged for shipment, which costed me an extra $650. The car arrived and it was definitely not as described. It has salt/rust underneath, 2 cracked headlights, warped rotors (car shakes vigorously when applying the brakes), chips all over the front bumper/hood that were quickly touched up, and worst of all the car was obviously wrecked and cheaply repaired. The front bumper and right fender are visibly different colors and the plastic underneath/in the wheel well is broken. One of the plastics in the front bumper is cracked, and pins/clips for the fender are missing/broken so the two don't join together properly. That's in addition to several minor issues I've since discovered. The car obviously is not 100% like new as it was described. I contacted Tony daily for 2 weeks in attempts to return the car or to be compensated for the undisclosed damage. He COMPLETELY IGNORED me. He won't answer/return calls, voicemails, or emails. I spoke to 3 other people at Ardmore, trying to reach him (Dan, someone claiming to be his father, and some associate that claimed he didn't even work at this location and was only filling in). All of them gave me different stories ranging from "He's at the sale", to "he's taking a training course to learn how to repair wrecked cars", to "he's traveling", to "I have no idea where he is or when he'll be back". Finally I was able to get in contact with Dan who agreed to send me $600 (which will only fix about 25% of the issues) and mail me the title. A week later I received the check but no title. I was told I needed to sign some documents, which I did and expedited back to Ardmore. I still have not received the title and the car has been in my possession for nearly a month. The 30 day temp tag is expiring today and I can't register the car without the title to get a real tag. After today I cannot legally drive the car that I bought a month ago. If you're considering buying a car from this company, you need to be prepared to view it in person, have a mechanic look over it, and be lied to the entire time. Make sure that anything they tell you, they put in writing. And then be prepared for them to squirrel their way out of that as well. The tone of the entire staff changes 100% once they have your money. ~~~~ 11/16/2018 UPDATE ~~~~ On 9/26 Tony had requested my wiring details so he could refund me for the car and have it picked up. I promptly sent the needed information but Tony never wired a refund or scheduled the pick up. This was around the time that he completely ignored all of my calls and emails for ~2 weeks, which prompted me to file a claim with the IL Attorney General. On 10/20 my first 30 day temp tag expired and Tony sent me another one. On 10/24 Tony responded to the Attorney General complaint stating that there was no issues with the car and that we simply had a difference of opinion. He ended his response with: "This matter has been concluded by refunding the customer $600. Simply stated, money solves all problems. Please mark this case closed and thank you for your help." I was in contact with Tony frequently via e-mail for 3.5 weeks in which he asked me three times to (or rather implied I must) remove my online review. On 11/14, I finally received the title to the car that I wired payment for on 9/17. Today Tony e-mailed that he's referred to his attorney to "take further action" because I refused to remove my review.
The invoice shows no note of inspecting the belt, tensioner, or pulleys, despite the technician working directly next to them. 21 miles after I picked the car up, the serpentine belt snapped while I was driving. The roadside mechanic who helped me confirmed the tensioner was already seized before he touched anything -- he had to force it just to get a temporary belt on. I had the belt, tensioner, and pulleys properly replaced at another shop for $1,812.45. I brought this timeline to Barnaba, including in a conference call with owners Ron and Chris Barnaba and service advisor Matt Richardson. They denied any responsibility and didn't offer an explanation for why a part sitting right next to the area they'd just worked on wasn't checked, despite having direct access to it during the repair. I'm not claiming certainty about root cause -- I can't prove it. What I can say: they had hands-on access to the failed components during a recent repair and documented no inspection of them. If you're considering this shop for anything, I'd ask exactly what they inspect and document when they're already in that area of the engine.
