    Loc & cream chase bagel
    Jasmine D.

I was in the area one morning and really wanted a breakfast bagel sandwich. Opted for the lox one, which included choice of bagel and inside had cream cheese, red onion and capers. I also ordered a toasted bagel with cream cheese for my sister. Food was ok, but what really put me off was how expensive it was! Spent close to $20 for these two items and was not aware of the surcharge for using a card. No bueno. Would not likely return.

Meh. First time and probably my last. It's your basic bagel shop and extremely overpriced. I opted for the jalapeño cheddar bagel, toasted with plain cream cheese. The bagel should have been called a "sad cheese bagel" because the jalapeños were nonexistent. For the price, you can buy a whole bag of bagels at the grocery store and "Zhuzh it up" yourself. If you're in a hurry, service is great. The man working the register and making your order will rush you like he's got somewhere to be. Ha!

Tasty bagels and great service! There is an up-charge for using credit card though, cash is preferred.

I've lived in the area almost my entire life and had never tried this place. It's been here at least 25 years and probably longer. Decided to stop by for a bagel and coffee today. They have a variety of bagel and a few different cream cheese options. I was also surprised to see they have breakfast and lunch sandwiches also. I went with a jalapeño cheese bagel and plain cream cheese. Bagel cost more than others, I guess because of the cheese? I also got a coffee. In total it was $7 and change (5% discount for cash). Had I used card there would've been a 4% surcharge. Seemed steep to me but bagels must be good right? Coffee is self serve and decaf was out so I asked them to make more. Decided to sit and eat while waiting for coffee. Plenty of seating for a small shop. Upon digging into the bagel I found that the jalapeños were tiny scarce pieces - I actually only saw one piece. I couldn't even taste them at all. They did put plenty of cream cheese on at least. Taste was OK. But overall, just not worth it. I'd rather go to Albertsons and get five jalapeño cheese bagels that are loaded with cheese and toppings and taste great for a price less than one here.

Asked for toasted onion bagels and received soggy, doughy bagels instead. Gross! Not sure if bagels are even fully cooked through.

A great spot for bagels and coffee. The dining room was large and clean with five tables inside and two outside. Being October, the inside was decorated appropriately with Halloween decorations, very cool. I was waited on by a friendly young lady who brought my order to our table when it was ready. WCB is a popular place for locals as the two girls in the back seemed to know everyone who came in. The breakfast sandwich we ordered was excellent! Quite substantial with plenty of egg,,delicious. All in all a tasty visit at West Coast Bagel.

Plenty to choose from, I really like the everything bagel. Came with plenty of cream cheese and imo, perfectly toasted. They do have sandwiches and smoothies but I will definitely be back to try. Didn't have to wait long at all, staff was friendly, very chill and quiet.

West Coast Bagels is a bagel shop near the shoppes at Chino Hills. It's located near red wings and has plenty of free parking in the lot in the complex. They also have a lot of outdoor seating as well. The people working in the restaurant are really nice. The ambiance felt a little run down and dreary, but the bagels tasted good. They make everything in front of you and cook the eggs in the microwave. The bagels were a little expensive for the quality. However, the variety and portion was nice. It's good for grabbing and going if you're craving a breakfast bagel.

    Bagel selection always fresh.

Hands down the best bagels. Anytime we are in town for baseball it's a must stop. I like my bagels with only butter and toasted. They serve theirs with perfect melty butter not like other places with cold butter that doesn't even melt. Nice staff and a wide variety of fresh delicious bagels.

Super friendly ladies and lots of bagel options! Everything seemed really fresh, though the flavor wasn't super strong. The smoothies were delicious, made with real fruit, not powder, and service was quick. Love that they have indoor and outdoor seating too.

Advertised as openimg at 6:00 am, but it was closed. Updates should be made so fans know. We were visiting from out of state and have loved this bagel shop, but could not enjoy today.

Stopped in 30 minutes before closing last Saturday and was happy we didn't get turned away as some places sometimes do. The service was pleasant and the total for 2 bagel sandwiches and an iced coffee came to $25. My wife loved the salmon bagel and I was OK with my egg, cheese and sausage bagel. It was filling but the egg had a slight grey color to it which I feel happens when the eggs aren't as fresh. I still ate the sandwich but it def needed salt, pepper and some chili. All in all, I would definitely go back.

    Busy counter and bagel display.

It got pretty crowded and noisy between 11am and 12:30pm as lots of families with kids came in. After 1pm, things quieted down again and more tables opened up. The café also has free Wi-Fi, a few outlets, and a clean, spacious restroom. One thing I appreciated was that the staff seemed to care about maintaining a comfortable environment. A child near my table was having a tantrum, and an employee politely asked the parents to take the child outside until things had calmed down. Since many customers were there to work or study, I thought that was handled well. The girl who took my order was also incredibly kind. Unfortunately, I didn't catch her name, but her smile was contagious and genuinely brightened my day. Food: My table ordered the tiramisu latte and the ube latte. The tiramisu latte was delicious, and I'd definitely recommend it. The ube latte had a stronger flavor profile, so if you enjoy a bold ube and coffee taste, you'll probably like it as well. Overall, I had a great experience at Dirty Penguin Coffee. There's plenty of parking outside, which is always a nice bonus, and I'd happily come back to work or grab a coffee again.

It's different from your typical bagel shop, with a subtle Korean twist that makes everything feel unique. Even their plain bagel is incredible, with the perfect crisp on top. Finally able to check this place out. Been seeing it on social media and finally made my way out…read morehere with the kiddos. Wanted to see what it was all about. The parking is a decent size. Two tables outside to dine on if you want to eat there & a few bar stool seating inside as well. The vibes inside were cute and matched their theme. Kind of dark since majority of the place is painted black so pictures inside didn't turn out so nice unless you had it at a good angle near the window but I wasn't really here to take pictures, I was really here to try what they're offering. Donuts: The donuts are pretty, that's for sure. Plenty of options and donuts I think ranged in pricing depending on the specialty level. The ones we got range from $4-$7. We got half a dozen donuts along with breakfast items & coffee to try. We got the ube mochi, hello kitty character, unicorn, Banana Pudding, Oreo and Nutella donuts to try. The design are very eye catching for sure. Donuts are nice and fluffy and packed with flavors. Kids really enjoyed them. They're a bit pricey and not something you can regularly buy in this type of economy on a daily basis. To me, they're fun to buy for special occasions and that's probably what we'll do for birthdays or events. For the food, we got a PD breakfast burrito. They offered to cut it in half. The burrito itself is already $16. They asked if we wanted to add cheese or avocado. I was curious and did it. We added cheese and avocado at an extra cost to it. Cheese was $1 and Avocado was $2.50. Extra salsa was 51 cents. It's the size of my hand and a hefty looking burrito. At that point, it's really a questionable choice of why am I spending almost $20 on a burrito.. Haha but it was a decent burrito but in the end, everything was an extra cost after the initial order of the item. Would I buy it again? No. Was it worth it? Not really. But definitely good to try if you are craving a breakfast burrito and don't mind the price. Drinks: We ordered the Ube Vietnamese coffee and Sea Salt Cold Brew. We added an extra shot to the cold brew. The cold brew was good. The Ube Vietnamese coffee was good too. It's a premade coffee drink and not customizable. It's more on the sweeter end than a traditional Vietnamese coffee. I usually like it not as sweet but it was the combo that I was curious about and went with it. Good flavors. Wished the coffee was a bit more bolder for the Vietnamese coffee part but it's not bad. Service was nice and friendly. Everyone was very approachable and I appreciated the explanations and recommendations while deciding.
