Came here on a Saturday morning for brunch and was seated right away. My fiancé and I ordered the Fried Chicken Croffle and Smoked Salmon Benedict. The dipping sauce was also unique with it being sweet and savory, while also having that nice Asian fusion to it. However, it was also not necessary as the chicken itself had a whole ton of flavors already. As for the smoked salmon benedict, I thought it was delicious, however, I didn't like the breading as it was super wet/moist. Overall, the staffs were nice and the food was good. We were on the hunt for a good brunch spot in Chino and came across this place on Easter Sunday! So glad we did! It looks like they also offer hot pot for dinner, which we're definitely curious to try next time. We started with hot lattes, and they were delicious. The ube latte and the "Shrek" (matcha) latte had the perfect level of sweetness, not too overpowering, just right, and sooo good. For food, we ordered the ube French toast and the fried chicken with a croffle. The croffle alone is worth coming back for--wow. There's a tablet that you MUST sign up on to be sat. I feel like a greeter would be a bit easier but I like the concept. I would maybe make a sign or bring more attention to it. This place has gone downhill. I haven't been here for awhile & was craving my breakfast sandwich & my sister was craving her eggs Benedict to find out that they took out the sandwich out of the menu & they only serve the Benedict on weekends!! Lastly we had the croffle with berries and it was larger than expected. The ambiance is clean, however, the restroom has a very distinct smell of urine. Let me tell you and stop you right in your tracks if you're looking at other things on their menu. Their Croffle is top of the line, the best croffle invention I have ever had, and gave me another reason to exist and enjoy life, just so I can eat their Croffles. If you are wondering what it is, it's like a dessert fusion breakfast item in between a croissant and a waffle pressed in a waffle iron. This makes an airy, buttery, crunchy, waffle bite, and it's got me drooling as I am typing this hungry. They pair it here with mixed berries, and their house-made fresh whipped cream. What a pleasant surprise this was! Memorial day a lot of places were closed so we took a chance on Wara Cafe (which is a shabu place at night!) so the signage could be confusing. You'll have to wait for your server. And you'll have to wait much longer for food. But the food is good quality and delicious. We ordered an ube french toast and fried chicken sandwich. I was initially disappointed because I wanted steak chilaquiles, but they had run out. But it was just as well since it would've been too much food for two if we had ordered 3 entrees. And we probably also would've had to wait more. The ube french toast was decadent yet manageable. It was not overwhelming sweet. It paired well with fresh fruit. The fried chicken was succulent and juicy. The brioche was fluffy and delicious. The potatoes were a good complement. We demolished our plates and were content. Love this place! It is on the pricier side but the food/drinks/vibes are great for brunch. My friend introduced me the first time, and it was so good I brought a group of six friends the next time I came. I had the same order both times: smoked salmon bagel and blueberry matcha. Both of those are absolutely delicious. I'm always on the lookout for blueberry matcha, as not many places have it. My friend group also shared a matcha flight to try each flavor, and I didn't like the other ones as much as blueberry. The patio is really pleasant to sit out, and they can accommodate larger groups. The first time I went, service was pretty good, but the second time, even though it wasn't busy, our server seemed a bit absent-minded and rushed. She forgot to take cancelled orders off of our check despite them not making the order. I had already paid, and they were trying to figure out how to refund it, but my friend just paid and had them make the drink instead to save the hassle. It ended up being additional 30. Told us the kitchen was backed up and that why they hadn't sat us. Sat two tables before us that arrived well after we had. No communication from staff either. I had asked the waitress for her recommendation and most popular dish. She suggested the chilaquiles so my husband and I decided to order that. The presentation was great but the taste of the salsa was not. The salsa tasted very salty and had a strong taste of vinegar. I couldn't even eat those chilaquiles! I was so disappointed. Plenty of parking spaces available and the plaza is located right behind the Kaiser Medical Center offices. It seems like during the day, it is a brunch restaurant, and for night, it is a shabu hot pot restaurant. We came around 11:15am and didn't have to wait long before getting a seat. They had a decent, diverse menu filled with brunch items with a diverse drink menu. We got: - Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict- definitely taste the smokiness of the salmon and it was a delicious yummy plate if you like eggs benedict. - Fried Chicken Croffle- if you like fried chicken and waffles, definitely try it. - Ube French Toast- highly recommend if you enjoy a sweet dessert to share with a friend. - Dirty Ube Latte - perfect blend of the espresso in the ube latte- not too sweet. - Salted Caramel latte- that one was more coffeeish. The food came out quickly as well. It was a bit hard to choose off the menu though since everything sounded great, especially the many drink options. Fried Chicken Croffle - Couldn't help myself to the classics. It also comes with a side of fries and a salad. The chicken and croffles were so crispy. Their portion sizes are pretty good too, so it was big enough for my friend and I to split our dishes and share. The Shrek - This is a matcha latte with brown sugar and cinnamon and has now ruined all other matcha drinks for me because it was so good. I have been wanting to try this restaurant for two weeks, but they are not opened on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The location is not located in a busy area. The restaurant is a little small, but it does have like two or three tables (outside) in front of the restaurant. Waited maybe 10 minutes for the hot Americano coffee my mom and I ordered, which was not even refillable. Waitress said only the regular house coffee is refillable. I've never had chicken and waffles before as a combination and croffle is even more different than waffles. It was alright for having it for the first time. Made me feel like I was eating a croissant and bigger pieces of chicken tenders that were moist. The spicy syrup that came with it when I first tasted it, I was like this is good, kind of sweet with a hint of spice. The more I used it the more I felt the spiciness, but it was tollerible for a person that doesn't eat a lot of spicy food. I give it a 7 out of 10 rating. The Smoked Salmon Bagel my mom ordered was pretty good. It had mustard seed on top, which we were not used to. I only tried a little piece of it. I would rate that a 8.75 out of 10. By the way, it took a long time for our food to come out. Not sure how long because we didn't time it. It was probably 15-20 minutes. Art does take time, but usually food at restaurants come out quicker than that. The waitress was friendly. If I could give another half star, I would have given a 3.5 rating. Maybe someday I will try it again and test out their other menu items. The Salmon Bagel is worth ordering again and the price is good. The Chicken and Croffle was good, but not exciting to order again. My husband and I chose to eat breakfast here the day of our wedding reception. We had a long day ahead and wanted to start it right. We both got the traditional breakfast plate. I got a latte and he got drip coffee. Ambiance is funny because it's a hot pot restaurant but we weren't bothered by it. It was clean. I may choose to sit outside next time if that's an option, but no one was sitting out there. Service was slow especially for breakfast food. We didn't have a lot of time...a total of 45 minutes. The latte came out relatively quick but the food took about 25 minutes. If it was a crowded restaurant with a lot of tables, maybe this would be understandable. However, there were only 4 or 5 tables. At least two of them had their food already. 25 minutes was way too long. The food was great, though, and the staff was friendly. Latte was really good. Their bacon is candied bacon and I think that should be the only kind of bacon. It was delicious. Their bread tastes homemade. The potatoes are so good... Eggs are eggs... But yeah.. delicious. If you have to be somewhere in a hurry, I don't recommend this place. But if you have time and want a more than decent breakfast, definitely give it a try. read more

We ordered the BLT with avocado, the avocado toast, and the croffle with chicken. A croffle is a waffle made out of croissant (more buttery than sweet). All meals come with mixed green salad and roasted potatoes. The bacon was crispy and candied, the fried chicken was tender enough to cut with a fork and flavorful, and the croffle was distinctive. We really enjoyed the different takes on the traditional breakfast entrees! We tried coming yesterday (Sun at noon) but there was an hour wait with a line out the door (now I can see why!), so we gave it another try today, and I'm glad we did! The chicken eggs Benedict was really good here. The gravy was just okay but the batter for the chicken made up all the flavor for this dish. I definitely recommend it. My wife got the ube French toast and to be honest you can't really taste any of the ube flavor. I also got the hojicha latte and it was really good as well it had a really bold tea flavor.
