Bottom line up front: Justin is a freaking magician! An idiot tourist on a rent-a-bike in Sausalito wasn't paying attention to his surroundings, and ran into the left rear quarter panel of my car as I was turning left into a parking lot (yes I signaled, and well in advance). This moron's negligence resulted in nearly a dozen dings of a variety of shapes and sizes in my brand new BMW M4. To add insult to injury, the asshole took off on me. I was gutted! I'd had this thing for a mere 4 months, and the last thing I expected to cause damage would have been a cyclist. But I digress. Some of the dings were more like gouges. Combined with the fact that it was the rear quarter panel - the most difficult area to repair - I had resigned to the idea that whoever was going to attempt to work on the damage would be able to make it better, but not truly undo the damage. My new car was going to be forever flawed. Enter Justin. He came recommended by Pedro from Marin Auto Detailing, who did the work of wrapping the car in PPF right after I took delivery of it (a worthwhile investment, as the PPF took the brunt of the sharp bits of the bike, completely preventing the paint from getting scratched). I got in touch with Justin and arranged an appointment. I went to pick up the car today, and one of the guys at the shop mentioned that Justin had stayed until around 10 PM the night before working on my car (plus some time today). I then looked at the damaged panel, and I was absolutely floored by the results - it was perfect! No more dings, not even any waves. NOTHING. As if it never even happened! 2003 BMW M5 got swiped by a Harley on the freeway. I was recommended to Justin. I got 3 other quotes that were significantly pricier. In less than 1 working day, Justin was able to fix my car where I cannot tell it was even dented. Seriously this is magic, I could not be happier with the result. If you are looking at my pictures, you can see below and above the belt line trim, a large indentation from a motorcycle foot-peg. The paint marks buffed out easily, but a several foot long dent with a small crease was left behind. You can look in the reflections to the waviness to judge the massive extent of damage. My last photo shows the day I picked it up, and it's not visible to me that there's any imperfection in reflection. Great job will definitely recommend. read more

Two weeks after getting my new car someone door dinged it! Luckily I found Justin via Yelp. He showed up on time and in what seemed like only a few minutes had my car looking PERFECT again. I also had him take out some dings from my old car, which was more of a challenge since it was black and had minor paint loss where the ding was. By the time he was done, no one would know there were ever any dings! Lastly we had a custom motorcycle gas tank. This was more challenging as it had a dent about the size of an apple and the tank was made of very thick metal. In the end Justin was able to get the dent out AND not damage the metal leaf paint on the tank. UNBELIEVABLE!!!! I could not be happier with the results!! A few months ago we had Justin come over to fix a barely visible dent in the rocker panel of my wife's Explorer Sport. He made what was barely visible . . . invisible. So, when I had a bad dent in the rear bumper of my 335i, just wanting to make it look a little better until I could get it in the shop, I gave him a call. He got out right away and said that he could just fix the dent, but it wouldn't be perfect, or for less than my insurance deductible, he could fix it completely. He popped the dent back into place, buffed it out and it actually looked pretty good. Justin was heading out of town after the initial repair and he sent me to Hugo, who finished the repair of the dent and repainted the bumper. Absolutely good as new in one day. I can't believe what Justin (and Hugo) are capable of fixing, perfectly, for much less than it would cost to take to one of the body shops in the area to repair. I will recommend them to anyone who needs small, or NOT so small repairs to their cars and trucks. read more

Justin did a super job on my car. What a relief! I had a dent on my car, on top of front tire, (driver side), this side of the outline of front headlight was a bit crooked, that's the very difficult part, I know. Insurance company wants to change the panel, and the bumper, matches the painting.... estimate for $1,800. I don't think it's necessary to do all that just because the dent. Glad that I found Justin on Yelp. I told Justin, by the headlight, I'm not asking 100%, I'll be happy with 80%. He said, he doesn't like to do 80% job! :)) In the end, he did 99% by the headlight. Have a dent, then Justin is your man! I was about to turn in my lease and I accidentally backed into our recycling bin leaving a small dent in the back of my Hyundai Kona. I was on a limited time frame because it was due back at the dealer so I was super worried about not being able to get fixed and running the risk of having them charge me an astronomical amount. WOW! I got 3 estimates for a fairly small but difficult-to-reach dent: one for $3,100, another for $3,600 and a third for $1,500. The first 2 required buying a new panel, some new hardware, and having the whole thing painted. The third was going to be a 90% fix, dealing only with the dent and not repainting the entire panel. I hemmed and hawed and called Justin at West Coast Dents. Though tricky to get in touch with, once we connected, he focussed on the job and got a near perfect result at 75% less cost than the low ball estimate. I could not be more pleased or impressed. Justin's a very busy guy and a little tough to reach - but no wonder - he's personable, responsible, conscientious, honest, incredibly competent, and easy to work with. And, he comes to the house.
