I had two different companies come out to service my old rooftop combo unit, both said that the…read morepart was no longer available and they quoted me whole unit replacement costs. I also asked Mountain Air out for a replacement quote, assuming the unit was unrepairable at this point. Mountain Air arrived to measure and quote a replacement. They asked what was wrong with current unit and I explained that it was old and the motor is no longer available. He inspected the unit and said that it is the motor, and not only is it replaceable, but he could go out and get the motor immediately. Within an hour my AC was fixed just in time for a heat wave! I was prepared to have no AC for the rest of summer.
