Second, I did not contact this company Cal-View Property Inspections casually or without cause. I reached out because there were serious ongoing concerns in my home, involving exposed walls, abnormal air quality, and conditions that affected my family's health and safety. At the time, children were living in the home, and the wall area had remained exposed for an extended period. The inspection was not the cause of the problem. It was conducted because I needed answers about conditions that already existed inside the unit. The inspection helped confirm that mold concerns were present in the air and on surfaces within the home, including in my daughter's bedroom. After the inspection, I pursued code enforcement. That process resulted in multiple code violations being identified, and repairs were required. My family was displaced as a result of the condition of the home, not because of anything this company created. The statements suggesting improper motive or lack of professionalism do not reflect my experience. I hired this company because I needed an independent assessment, and from my experience they were professional, responsive, and helpful during an extremely stressful situation. So I had high hopes that the cleaning service would be excellent given the good start so far as well as the glowing reviews on Yelp and near 5 star rating. The cleaning itself was fine and her team of two cleaners were on time. However I had two issues. Her team of cleaners had completely missed cleaning baseboards in the master bathroom and also did not dust off some of the door handles not a big deal. The biggest issue was that when they had cleaned the stainless steel stovetop and my stainless steel sink, they had used some sort of an abrasive brush which left many scratches on a practically new stovetop and new sink. The sink and stovetop look damaged now. The stovetops lettering and brand logo is also peeling off due to the abrasive brush or cleaning tool they used. Stainless steel should only be cleaned using a soft sponge/brush and cleaning should be done with the grain. Not sure if I would use them again because of this.

Part one of a two part foundation project Recently we had…read moreour house foundation repaired by Groundworks out of Fairfield. One bedroom had sunk by almost 5 inches as that part of the house had been built on fill. In order to restore the house to it's proper level numerous foundation jacks and floor leveling screw jacks were required. In addition some landscaping bushes and pvc sprinkler pipes had to temporarily removed. Groundworks had informed me prior to starting work what would be required to successfully complete this project and had my full approval. The house is now level, the doors no longer swing on their own and the interior cracks between the walls and ceiling joints no longer exist. Prior to the crew leaving the yard was cleaned up and the pvc pipes replaced. Best of all Groundworks will come back annually to the next 5 years and make any necessary adjustments. The Groundworks crew that made this happen was Andrew, the site supervisor, Charlie and Allen. Their performance and daily communication was superior on all levels. This is part 2. The Groundworks Poly crew of Anthony & Brian were very fast and efficient in completing their part of the foundation repair contract which was to level our family room slab floor. Fast, yes, but Anthony did take the time to not only explain what they were going to do but also walked me through the process as they were working. I have no problem in recommending them & Groundworks to other home owners who need to have their foundation repaired.

So I thought I would have it repaired for beautification purposes. Brian the representative that came out is a fast talker and didn't explain the process of what Groundworks would and could do to improve the cracking of the concrete floor! I certainly thought that after paying $4000.00+ dollars I would be able to see a difference in the concrete. I didn't see no difference other than some lifting on the crack by the steps of the pool. Another problem I have is their is overspray of the polymer on my privacy fence. I know it is from the polymer because it is where they sprayed by the steps and diving board. I'm certainly not happy with the outcome.The crew that came were here approximately 1 hour 33 minute.
