These guys are awesome. They came out super fast to do a free estimate. They identified 3 places where rodents might be getting in. Two other pest control companies were unable to find access points. They came back and patched up the holes with incredible attention to detail. They meticulously put concrete on the foundation, replaced our crawl space door, and even repaired a few foundation vents that weren't related to the issue. We had rodents in our attic for years. I talked to many people who made suggestions that didn't work until I found Anthony at West Coast Pest. He did an initial inspection where he identified 5 entry points into our house (including 2 left by a previous pest control worker who hadn't sealed grates properly). For a reasonable fee, Anthony plugged the entry points, set traps and agreed to check them a fixed number of times. A week later, he located a 6th entry point. It was clear that Anthony was willing to continue to check the traps until the problem was solved even though the contract set a limit to his responsibility. And sure enough, he did solve the problem giving us relief from a problem that had been bothering us for years. What I understand now is the key is knowing how to find and plug the entry points. Other pest control people focused on killing the rodents which doesn't solve anything if more keep getting into the house (they can detect the entry point by the odor of the previous rodents). Many years later, the rodents returned. I called Anthony and he quickly came out. He found 2 new entry points (grates which had degraded over time due to the damp weather in PG) which he promptly fixed for a very modest fee for returning customers. I reached out to Anthony after reading his reviews and hoped he serviced Santa Cruz County and lucky for us they do. It sounds like he is up and down the central coast. Anthony and his partner made time to come by and quickly got to work checking out under the house for a possible rodent issue which they discovered the entry point quickly (thanks Comcast) and secured as well as adding concrete to the basement entry and at the garage door. So I'm another happy customer as well. When we first moved to our house, there were no rats under the house. Of course a month later there were rats under the crawl space. Rats!! Anthony was of course the first to answer the call and was willing to come out the soonest. He offered me 2 choices, fairly affordable rat trapping with 3 visits, or full exclusion work to keep the rats out of the crawl space and trapping which at the time sounded pricey. As I learned in the 10 plus visits he made to the house, to trap rats, do exclusion, and clean up the rat mess, I got a good deal. He came over quite a bit and took his time to make sure there was no way the rats could come back.
