We were having an issue with rodents and were unable to find their point of entry. Anthony came over with another gentleman (his name is alluding me) and within 1/2 hour, found where the mice were entering the crawl space of our home. He realized that we were not afraid of setting traps & caulking entry points. So he did not try to sell me on trap placement & sealing. Yelp sent me a list of ant control companies, with West Coast Pest being one of them. Every review was full stars and great write ups. I phoned him, sounded like he was on a job site or in a warehouse, but we set up an appointment for estimate, he gave me a normal cost over the phone, but I explained the main nest was under the house, not outside, and I preferred someone to look at it and then give estimate. He never phoned me back, and did not phone or arrive on the date we set up. I did contact a couple others on Angie list, but in the end, used another local company that back in the old days would of been in the phone book most likely with a full page yellow book page. I called a couple of pest control companies for a rodent issue in Carmel. Anthony gave me a quota on the phone, then drove out the same day for a free inspection. Confirming what I already knew (I had rats), he identified all places the rodents were able to get into the house (most I already knew). He set traps and began to seal the house on the first (inspection) visit. Other companies send someone out to give a quote, then have to 'schedule' for a service. True professionals inspected my attic, crawlspace and roof looking for ways for rodents to get inside. They gave me a free estimate which was that nothing needed to be done - the previous owners did a good job sealing entrances so uninvited pests won't get inside. Although I told him we just needed spider control, I mentioned a wasp nest in the yard, and he was all "where is it, I'll get it!!"
