Dr. Torabi is the best dentist I have ever seen, bar none. He is patient, kind, and professional, as is all of his staff. Due to health issues, several teeth had broken and I had gotten to where I would cover my mouth when I wanted to speak in public. Dr. Torabi did such a fantastic job, my smile is gorgeous and my whole outlook has changed. The surgery and all post-op appointments for fitting were not only painless, but pleasant. I have always been fearful of the dentist, but Dr. Torabi is very gentle and aware of my comfort level at all times. I was able to relax completely because I could trust him to give me the proper care at fair prices. There are many dentists that are now advertising implant service, but Dr. Torabi was one of the first and trains others in the PROPER process--he has numerous degrees, awards, and special credentials. There is a small initial charge for a scan, which all dentists charge because you're getting a diagnosis, use of equipment, and Dr. Torabi's valuable time, then you get your treatment plan. You may have heard or read ads for other dentists who will give you a full set of teeth "in a day". Sound too good to be true? I would never trust my teeth with a place like that, and for good reason. It takes time to prepare your gums for implants, to receive the abutments, and to fit the teeth. You *might* have a case that can be done very quickly, and if you are so fortunate, Dr. Torabi is both excellent and efficient, but he also possesses the patience and expertise to create and fit beautiful, healthy implants the right way. I learned that some of these other implant groups take in large groups of prospective clients at convention centers, sign them up then use 5 or 10 or 20 dentists to perform major oral surgery on numerous patients all on one day. Do you want your dental care to be handled like fast food? Dr. Torabi has his own office and gives each patient individual care. Now do the math: those services that promise everything in a day will have rushed through your treatment, using a large, impersonal staff, saving costs for their business, and by the time your anesthesia wears off, you will have paid for years of implants that may be shoddy and look bad. Do you think a place like that will have time for your concerns? Obviously, their primary concern is profit, and they seem to put more money into marketing than their patients. Don't make that mistake. I've done the research, and I choose Dr. Torabi. So should you! I give him the highest recommendation. Good luck with your teeth. read more

Have my implant for more than a month now. Impeccable final result: technically sound work, beautifully looking implant. My new tooth is absolutely undistinguishable from surrounding teeth; crown fits perfectly-no discomfort at all, feels great. No doubt Dr. Torabi is an expert in his area. He has both polished bedside manners and superb professional skills. Office is neat and stylish. Staff is caring, smiley and friendly. Paperwork (claim submission for insurance) was performed in timely manner-thanks, Cora. Procedure itself at its early stages (bone grafting) was uncomfortable, but I was ready for that as it was my second implant. It was not painful just uncomfortable. You might opt for deeper sedation at this step if you do not want to be aware about all that "road work" (drilling procedure) that is going on inside your mouth. Sure, Dr. Torabi will offer you alternative options. Whole process from initial evaluation till final exam took about 10 months, but my case required bone grafting and it made the whole process longer. Wonderful experience with Dr. Barriere and his staff. I Started my dental implant journey off last year. After years of neglect, my teeth had gotten to the point of no return. I want to thank Dr. Barriere and his staff for the great job they did with my mom, she suffered from facial paralysis for many years and because of the constant movement on her face her teeth were affected, she had brain surgery last year and the surgery was successful, my mom was able to recover her beautiful smile and for me was very important that she visited a Dentist next to get her implants. Why 5 stars? I was looking for a knowledgeable dentist with no angles and to be straight forward along with a competent staff and I found that here. I came in for an implant late last year and from day 1 I have been told cost, healing time, what to expect and constant follow up with appointments to make sure we were on track. I forget on which side of my mouth the implant is on because it feels and acts like my normal molar, and that's the honest truth. Look, you'll always see a bad review or two on any business but I am one that rarely puts anything to my name on it. In the past year I've visited 5 to 8 times and it's always been the same level of respect and service. I drive 35 miles to go there and it's for a reason. Staff is wonderful and attentive, office is clean and professional and as for parking.... well is Westwood so I can't hold that against them. Most importantly Dr. Torabi has never pressured me and has given me a complete diagnosis of what's needed. 1 tip though, maybe have some ESPN playing on the TV's. JR read more

My husband doesn't use Yelp, but was so impressed with Dr. Torabi he asked me to post the following: Dr Torabi is more of a surgeon than a dentist, he's straight forward, professional and to the point. Nearly 2 years ago Dr Torabi replaced most of my failing upper teeth with new implants (8 in total), and I couldn't be happier with the results. I had heard his ad on KFI talking about the reasonable implant prices, and due to the amount of work I needed done price was important, but I was also concerned about quality work. From day one, I was impressed with the level of professionalism by the entire staff, the neat and tidy office / medical environment, and I never felt like I was getting budget work done. I went to see Dr. Torabi for my regular cleaning/checkup, and I was very impressed with the ambiance and the quality of service I received. Since that first visit I have gone again for Zoom 1-hour whitening and also had veneers done on my upper front teeth. I got results that were far beyond my expectations, and I am truly happy with my natural-looking smile. The fit and appearance is excellent, and the overall procedure was very painless. Dr. Torabi takes the time to explain every aspect of the treatment, and he somehow avoids pain even when giving the shots. I have a bit of panic in general for dental work, from a childhood experience, and I am a closet germophobe (!) But I was at perfect ease with Dr. Torabi, and the friendly staff was a big part of that. I consulted Dr. Torabi for 2 implants I needed a few months ago. I have been impressed with the professionalism of Dr. Torabi and his staff. All procedures thus far have been successful and now awaiting my appointments for impressions, then abutement and crowns. The surgery on the two implants so far has been fairly easy, local anaesthetic only. I my case Dr. Torabi also did bone augmentation for both implants and then placed posts to which the abutement and crown will be attached. All these procedures were done in 2 hours and although i felt a little groggy was able to drive 60 miles to my home. Was able to eat solid foods 24 hours after surgery. (I'm 66 years old). I would recommend Dr. Torabi to anyone who wants the best possible outcome for implants. Nice office too. After looking around for few weeks, I decided to stick with Dr. Torabi and his team because beside being really prepared and good in their work they are very honest. Dr. Torabi always discusses all the possible procedures with his patient beforehand, once properly informed you are free of deciding what is the best for you and your pockets. Best dentist I've ever been to! The staff is all super friendly, the office itself is both beautiful and comfortable, but most importantly , the main reason that I keep coming back is that Dr. Torabi really cares about how you are doing. Last year I had some work done on a tooth that Dr. Torabi thought might need a root canal, but he was going to try to save the tooth with conservative treatment first. Once the anesthesia wore off, I had some pain (not as a result of the procedure, but from my own messed up tooth) and called the office. Just had my implant done by Dr. Torabi, and I am very happy. He is an expert and so confident on what he is doing. Dr.Torabi is a perfectionist, but all that just comes naturally. I have two other implants done by a different dentist. According to me hi kinda struggle, like he wasn't sure of the outcome -- Dr.Torabi did my implant 45% cheaper (than other dentist) His staff are nice, helpful and friendly, (especially Cora).
