I live walking distance from Dr. Cohen's office, so the convenience is great! More importantly though, is that I really like the office and the professionals there. The office is small, with two outstanding woman dentists, Dr. Catreen and Dr. Nicole, a great assistant Carlos, and Elizabeth, the dynamite receptionist, insurance researcher, and expense quoter. They are always on time with appointments, fast, efficient, and thorough. I discovered a problem with one tooth that previous dentists (2) had failed to see. The office is lovely. Horrible experience with this office. The most painful experience I've had with 2 fillings, one that actually ended up needing root canal a week later. Office overcharged me for my treatments as well and still after 2 months does not reimburse me. It's been a nightmare. They also won't call me back. read more

15 years plus !!! Literally having the same pcp is like having the same dentist that knows your medical history .. Dr . Cohen, she is amazing , gentle with how she does cleanings , procedures etc. love coming here with welcoming faces and such great customer service. One thing is all the times I have gone in, I do not wait more than 15 mins and if she is a little backed up her assistants start with X-rays so when she is ready she has all necessary imaging to proceed. DURING COVID, her office makes you feel comfortable, it's clean , they sanitized everything and even have a machine I forgot what the name was but it picks up all the particles that are in the air. 100% recommend!! read more

Her deep cleaning was done incorrectly. I decided not to go to her for my cavities after doing the XRay. I found another dentist and at first she refused to respond when I asked her to send the new dentist my XRays (since insurance only covers it once a year and as a patient I have a right to my files). I send her a follow up email and when she does respond she sends me extremely poor quality images of my X-rays equivelant to the quality of photos on an old mobile phone. I email her again and cc the new dentist if she can please send high quality images of my X-rays. No response from her and luckily my new dentist did the X-rays for free out of the kindness of his heart. After not getting any mail or hearing from her, 1 year later I receive a voicemail stating I owe around $334 for the (not done properly) deep cleaning! When I told the receptionist I hadn't heard from their office and the procedure was done poorly. The receptionist threatened me and stated well then we will just send this to collections today. I panicked and had to pay it that day over the phone. As a result I have also submitted a complaint to my insurance and a letter from the new dentist stating the deep cleaning was not done appropriately. DONT GO TO HER!! read more

Find a different dentist - these people are frauds. They charged me an additional $200 out of pocket for a procedure and refused to send an accurate bill to my insurance after multiple attempts on my part to correct the situation. They forced me to pay upfront which should have been my first red flag. I reported them to my insurance's fraud hotline as I have never seen such blatant negligence from a medical office before - they're clearly doing things they aren't supposed to be. read more

I am very frustrated with my experience with Cohen dental. I feel very taken advantage of. basically I was told during my appt, I had 4 cavities forming (Ive never had a cavity in my life) I had receding gums and needed something to protect some of the teeth and that I grind my teeth and was recommended a night guard. I ended up just doing the recessive gum treatment. Suspicious I went to get a second opinion. The dentist confirmed I did not have any cavity formation, I don't show any signs of grinding and then asked if I experience any discomfort around my gums. I told him I don't have any sensitivities. He said the gum treatment was unnecessary and only recommended when someone experiences discomfort. I feel like Cohen Dental just wanted to make money off me. I would not recommend them and proceed with caution. read more

Dr. Cohen is by far the best dentist I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. There is absolutely no fear - even when she needs to numb an area I'm comfortable and feel completely taken care of. If I were to ever have to move out of town I would actually need to schedule travel for my dentist appointments so I could come back. I can't emphasis enough how wonderful and professional she is.
