Not only did they decide to help, they went far beyond the level of customer service he had ever experienced. They didn't just help him find boots that fit, they also made sure the boots would work with his skis. When it turned out they didn't, they pushed all their appointments aside to make sure everything worked so he would not have to wait any longer and could continue his road trip, and so he would not have to deal with it at the resort and pay extra fees. High Adventure Ski Shop, we thank you for saving my boyfriend's ski trip. I know he was slightly panicking, and Ryan, thank you for doing everything you did to make it work.

Items carried: Sports goods All age/gender clothing Backpacks Socks Sneakers/shoes/cleats Outdoor equipment Jackets and outerwear Snow pants Swimgear Tennis/golf clothing Coolers similar to yeti Pros: Great deals Sale events on top of already discounted prices Can find discontinued items from dicks Exterior door and really close parking Cons: Resellers come from other states and buy out a lot of the inventory at this location. They come with their cell phone and buy out entire styles of clothing. It's really discouraging, because it left the store almost bare in July when I witnessed this predatory behavior that only continues to perpetuate inflation. One thing that is confusing is the curbside parking spaces as there is no way to purchase online from what I can gather. Definitely a must stop for back to school.

It is located on the second floor where Lord and Taylor was once located, and above the soon to open Primark store on the first floor. Dick's Warehouse offers reductions up to 70% and has new weekly markdowns. It is a huge space with lots and lots of merchandise. Most, but not all of it, appeared to be wearing apparel. My wife got a good deal on a pair of sandals.

They replied "anything with 75mm on a green label". They did not offer to come help us. We looked at those boots and found all the sizes were European . Not knowing what size he wore in European we looked around for a conversation chart and did not find one. Again no one came to offer help. Finally googled a conversion chart. We spent another 15 minutes in the store looking at boots and wandering around but no one once asked if we needed help finding anything. The three men hadn't moved from their chat session as we left the store. Would never return.

As I don't shop here myself (and having been deterred by the company's politics) I had no expectations when I entered the store. First, the store is large, handsomely laid out, and conveys the (correct) impression of high quality. I was approached by two salespeople who were very nice and very helpful. It pretty much screams high quality by your shopping experience. The items I selected were full price, and not inexpensive, but were clearly well made. At check out they were carefully wrapped and placed in a shopping bag (kudos for not appearing to charge for the bag and for not using plastic.) I would go back here in a moment. Factoring the dirth of high quality options in the Albany area it's nice to have this here.
