The tip of my hubs fishing reel broke off recently during a trip. He said he might be able to cut it and "repair" it for him. We purchased the kit and Troy did his magic. My hubs is definitely pleased. Seems to be a lot of employees walking around but none seem to be engaging with the customers. I walked around the apparel section many times. Saw employees. They were talking amongst each other. But no one to say hello or asked if i needed anything. Ended up finding my own sizes and going to ask for price checks on my own. A few clothing items were misplaces even though that SAME selectin was all on one arm with the sign displaying, but the cashier wouldnt honor it even though I showed her the picture. I wasn't going to fuss with her, I ended up not purchasing it. Do better! This location we may not frequent but might try another location and hope to have better service and luck.

I knew they would need some guidance since we do not live nearby. I also wanted them to have good equipment so we gave them the masks and snorkels as a Christmas gift. Kendra was extremely helpful to them and assured them if they had any problems with mask leakage, they could return them. They are very excited and appreciative of the time and patience Kendra took with them. Will you pay a bit more than online? Yes you will. But you won't get the superior customer service and that is worth a few bucks to me. Support small business I say! I'm sure you will have a longtime customer with those two. My latest boat issue took weeks to figure out, but they never gave up and they did not charge me for a lot of the diagnostic stuff that they could have. All they cared about was making sure that i was satisfied and that the boat ran. I took the boat back again because i was having trouble and they took the time to explain everything i was doing wrong, so it turned out to be operator error. No charge for the time they went through things to make sure all was correct. I will never take my boats anywhere but Carp. Jack and Bryan are the best.

In September 2024 I had Carp repair shifting problems I had on my Sea Ray. The manager at that time…read moreRon ( great guy) told me i needed both shifter and throttle cables. I approved the work and offered to pay extra to put the boat in the water to make sure all adjustments were correct. My boat was ready in March 2025, Ron retired, new manager named Jack. I added additional work to include installation of electric trim tabs. I tested the boat and found NO NEUTRAL, and upon shifting into REVERSE it would engage at high throttle. I returned the boat and explained to the new manager Jack. I also informed him the trim tab pistons were not tightened at all. Jack took the boat in. One week later I get a call from Jack that there is another cable inside the drive that was not changed. That this would fix the problem ( doubtful). I informed Jack that I would take the boat elsewhere to do the work correctly and completely the first time. When I went to pick up my boat I asked to speak with John the owner. He would not come out of his office to meet me. You may draw your own conclusions. I will never go back to this pla and I plan to educate consumers in the hopes nobody else suffers from this type of service.
