This was our first time here - but it will NOT be our last. I loved everything from the moment we set foot on the property. It is genuinely rustic, not artificially so. Everyone we encountered that works here was friendly and seemed to like their jobs! We didn't know before we got here but it is Blueberry Festival this weekend and there were blueberry themed drinks and food. They had free samples of blueberry soda, blueberry lemonade, blueberry jam and blueberry buckle and fresh blueberries! We tied all of it and it was all delicious! The lemonade was one of my favorites. We wandered the store for a bit and I think I'll end up taking one of everything I saw. I think I said "oh! I want that!" to AT LEAST 15 things. We had the 2 blueberry special drinks - blueberry lemonade mimosa and the blueberry frosé, we really enjoyed both. To eat we shared the BTB - which was another blueberry special. Brie, turkey and fresh blueberries on sourdough. I really liked it! I wish the blueberries had either been jam or some other sort of spread/compote instead of the whole blueberries. They kept rolling out of the sandwich haha. But the flavor combination was wonderful. The turkey and the sourdough were both grilled, which I made me real happy. Oh! The sandwich came with kettle chips that were the best kettle chips I've ever had - Which reminds me I was going to grab a bag to go and I totally forgot! We also had the Farmer's Daughter pizza which was awesome. Crispy crust on the bottom, but fluffy and light on top. Just the right amount of sauce and the toppings were great. We had the Oreo shake as well, also tasty! It melted quick! It was a pretty toasty day without much breeze. We ordered some donuts and a cinnamon roll to go, I'll have to review those later when we eat them - I'm too full right now! They have a pickle fest coming up next weekend and I want to go back! We loved this orchard SO much!…read more I couldn't believe the amount of fun, free entertainment packed into this farm. We ended up spending nearly three hours bopping our way between activities and snacking. We enjoyed cider, a variety of donuts (including apple cider and pumpkin with cream cheese icing), a big ole bag of "seconds" apples that were in great condition, paid for the four wheeler/train ride through the peaches and much more. The kids especially loved the goats, slide, tractor ride through the property and corn "Sand box". Bathrooms and snack stands were plentiful and clean throughout the front portion of the farm. The staff was all very engaged and friendly as well. I loved that this spot didn't feel cheesy or over commercialized like some orchards can become. It was truly perfect. Can't recommend it enough.

While they have someone guiding you most of the time, people visiting are not always the most mindful and don't let you out to give up your spot. There is only one entrance/exit for cars, so I think they need to be a little bit more upfront with the flow of traffic and constantly have someone guiding everyone to ensure that parking isn't backed up. There are pumpkins, tracker rides, a little parade car for kids (and adults can fit too) and a play area for the kids. I think it's the perfect place to grab donuts, cider, pick some apples and grab your pumpkin. Just be warned that some areas may be more hectic than others, but that's what you get with a sunny October weekend!

Great flavor to the bread, a dense bread with good crumb, with a heavy "everything" exterior seasoning that was wonderful! The second loaf is a Jalapeno cheddar. It has a white flour bread base so a lighter density and negligible crumb. The jalapeño and cheddar were barely there. Just on the exterior of the loaf. Still made decent toast.

There was a lot of fun things to do with your kiddos; tire pile with slides, wood games, basketball, a climber, benches, a bounce house and of course, animals. They had a mother/daughter duo of donkeys, two pigs, two highland cows and four goats. All the animals were super friendly, came right up to you and we even got to brush the cows. They had new additions to the barn cats who live there and they were so friendly too. Food was delicious, great customer service and the cider was yummy. 10/10 OH and all Go Go squeez apples are grown here. So cool!

All of the vendors that I've met have been really kind and fair-priced if not sometimes cheaper than big stores. The social media accounts will often tell you what vendors will be at the market each day and I think that can be really helpful! There's free parking which is really nice but the market does get busy VERY quickly. I know the Saturday markets during the summer can be suuuper busy so I'd recommend going early or knowing you may need to walk.

Most interesting part of this experience was the fact they grow 4 different varieties of blueberries here, each with their own unique flavor profile! It was so fun to walk the rows of bushes picking and tasting the differences. The most unique were those growing in the rows at the back left of the sales shed. They had an incredible sweetness that made me say "wow that's what a real blueberry tastes like!" The staff offered a great explanation and we filled up the buckets and enjoyed blueberries everyday during our stay. We also checked out the store across the street and found it filled with lots of blueberry products. Salsas, bbq sauce, jams, jellies, cookies, pies, cakes, and of course, ice cream! They have several blueberry flavors made just for them by a local creamery, and the ice cream is great. This is definitely worth a stop!

On our visit to Lake Michigan, we wanted to visit a U-Pick farm. We were delighted to learn that it…read morewas strawberry season and Visser Family Farms was a short 10 minute drive from where we were staying! It started to sprinkle rain as we pulled up to park, but that clearly didn't stop people from picking strawberries as we saw a family walk away with baskets and baskets of strawberries. The girl at the U Pick Stand was the sweetest walking us through the different types of baskets to choose from, the cost, and the process before we were set free to pick our berries! There were SO many strawberry fields and so many good juicy strawberries to choose from! My toddler, my husband, and I had a blast even in the rain! My only regret was not picking more because when I finally ate one - it was quite frankly one of the best strawberries I've ever had. On our way back to the car, we noticed the blueberry farm. They looked like they were almost ready for blueberry u-pick season and sure enough, a week later they were open! I wanted to see what they had in their little market, so we pulled up front and I saw they had strawberry donuts for sale! I grabbed half a dozen and both my husband and I devoured one as soon as I got back in the car. The next few days, I air fried them to reheat them and they were EVEN BETTER. So fluffy, airy, and full of strawberries! We can't wait to come back in the future.
