One thing I'll recommend, which wasn't even an issue with me since I started doing this long ago.. if you're a light sleeper, bring ear plugs. You can faintly hear noise outside or in adjoining rooms, so if you're a super light sleeper like me, you'll appreciate having them. Hemlock Inn is conveniently located a short drive from downtown Bryson City and the Cherokee side of Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Hemlock Inn is a nice little place in the woods with quaint rooms, limited technology, and good Southern food. I loved that they rang a dinner bell and had a blessing before each meal, served family style. We traveled with our 1 year old and I was glad I packed some of his favorite foods from home to bring with us (we as moms know our little ones can be picky). Hemlock Inn will gladly provide you with ice to keep items cold and some rooms even have a small refrigerator. The staff here at Hemlock Inn are so attentive and welcoming. JoAnn was professional and made us really feel like we were in good hands. All our worries were put to rest and she had answers for all of our questions.
