We had a really pleasant experience having lunch in this establishment - a nicely decorated bar/bistro in Lodi .service was great , food was excellent and creative and the prices were beyond reasonable . What else do we need ? Here's everything we had : 1) beef pockets - 3 little " emphanades" that were yummy and fresh . Dip them in the mustard spread and the pickled onion and they were supper yummy ! 4.3/5 2) holiday salad - a generous portion of mixed greens, butternut squash, seeds , goat cheese , pomegranate seeds ...all this came w a very tasty sauce . 4.1/5 3) pork schnitzel - large schnitzel , freshly fried with yummy pretzel bun. We really enjoyed this one . 4/5 We will be back for sure next time in the area, so many other great options in the menu to try out !

I finally got to try West Oak Nosh and wow this place is great. inside was nice and roomy with lots of seating. The employees were really friendly and nice. I was able to place a to go order and I got the Pork Schnitzel, Nosh Burger, and the B.A.L.T. Combo. The food was really good. My favorite was the B.A.L.T the sandwich was huge. The bacon was crispy and delicious and the avocado mash was nice and flavorful. The fries were also seasoned well and crispy. The Pork Schnitzel was huge. A little too dry for me. and needed more seasoning. The pickled onions were a kick of flavor and got my attention. wow. The Nosh Burger was really good. The meat was tasty and the greens were fresh. I got the chipotle aioli sauce on the side and was able to sauce it up. I'm impressed with West Oak Nosh. I will definitely return when I'm in the area to try their other items.

From the bar looking outside at the sign for this awesome eatery!

Rachael was super attentive, even though it was a very busy Valentine's Day lunch! She was friendly and helpful. Made great drinks! We went there because of the reviews on Yelp for the burgers. We ordered the Smash Burger with fries. Very tasty, delicious burger. The fries were out of this world! That could've been a meal by themselves (in fact you can order them with your choice of protein). It is a casual place, with a comfortable vibe. We will be back to try the sausage and schnitzel!

I love German food. Definitely heavy and you will be stuffed. It's a cute restaurant in a cute town. We over ordered, but it's ok because we demolished the food the next day. Nosh fries: 4/5 huge portion! Delicious with all ingredients, but too much for me Fried onions: loved this and the sauce 5/5 Sausage board: it was pretty good with the mustard and condiments 4/5 Pork schnitzel: also pretty good and an authentic German dish. 4/5 Drinks: espresso martini 4/5 and the spritz can't go wrong 4/5 Overall restaurant is yummy and will fill your tummy.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, affordable drinks and food.

The deviled eggs, pickled and regular... yum!!

We love West Oak Nosh! Their menu has German roots but they offer a lighter take on things. Their menu is locally sourced and they even make their own sausages. We have tried so many things from their menu, all of which are good. I love their deviled eggs, their schnitzel sandwich, their burger (add a fried egg), and their giant freshly made pretzel... but my go-to is their B.A.L.T. Sandwich! My husband and I like to split it. It comes with a side of their yummy duck fat fries and I always add a side green salad with vinaigrette. It makes for the perfect lunch! They have a great beer selection with locally sourced beers and some great N/A options. I haven't had one of their cocktails but I've seen some beautiful drinks that they make. Great food and drinks, wonderful owners and kind and friendly staff. A must try!

Listen up, this place will have you sayin' fo' shizzle my schnitzel with its clean takes on German cuisine. Don't pass on the house made sausage, and if you're down with pineapple, they are as good if not better than the brats. The nosh burger might be the best in town, but the pork schnitzel sandwich on a pretzel knot bun will leave you with a real hankering for a second stomach. I have friends that day trip from the Bay Area for this restaurant. It's affordable, approachable, and deliciously humble elevated biergarten grub. Ask your waiter if the deviled eggs are still available, and nosh nosh nosh on all the appetizers.

I can count on beers I actually like (German ones. Dark ones. Stronk ones. Not IPA ones.) and rotating taps. Bags of chips but no food here. They don't seem to mind if you bring food in, at least for Wednesday night trivia. Don't quote me on it. Also. There is wine here. There are dogs. Inside and out. Woof. Trivia night was fun. Wednesdays at 6:30, every two weeks. Four categories, ten questions per category. Grade another team's paper like school. We killed the blue movies category last week. Trivia master is def a movie guy. I would come back for this trivia format, yes. This was also a good spot to watch the niner game a few weeks back. Back when we were winning. Sigh. TVs everywhere, lots of seating inside and out. That said, it's a busy popular spot full of regulars so if you want a seat for a game or event, come early. I want to come back for music bingo or vinyl night. Bring your own vinyl. Color me intrigued. Not sure what music people listen to here but I have options. I am extremely disappointed with how this venue conducts business…read more I booked this space on September 6, 2025 for my daughter's high school graduation celebration scheduled for May 23, 2026. Four months later, on January 14, I received a text -- not even a phone call -- stating they could no longer host my event. No explanation. No meaningful effort to resolve the situation. Just a refund offer, as if families don't spend months planning around major milestones. By that point I had already sent save-the-dates to 125 guests. Because of their late cancellation, I have now contacted 25 other venues and wineries trying to keep my original date -- and they are either fully booked or out of my price range. That is the real-world impact of canceling a confirmed event months after booking. Weeks later (February 13), they offered the weekend before at half price. While that may sound generous on the surface, the reality is the damage was already done. I lost guests when I attempted to adjust the date, and I have been left scrambling to find alternatives. Major life events like graduations aren't casual reschedules. Reliability and communication matter, and unfortunately this experience showed a serious lack of both. Book with caution.

Bad: Their "Kobe" burger was $29 or so and was a good portion size. The problem? Lacking any kind of flavor or seasoning. The beef was flavorless. The stroganoff was a good portion size but again it was severely lacking in the seasoning department. Good: Those who ordered the corn soup and the porcini mushroom ravioli enjoyed them. They especially enjoyed the sauce from the ravioli. The desserts overall were enjoyed by the table. The sticky toffee pudding, while not as rich as we are used to, was still relatively good; soft and moist enough. The dark chocolate oblong with mango passion fruit was enjoyed by everyone too. The interior remains unchanged; like a classy London gastropub. Service: communication is key. Where they dropped the ball was that we mentioned on the reservation that we were there for Father's Day and prime rib, which they do on Sundays. As you walk in you even see the sign for the prime rib special. We sat down and the server mentioned that there was no prime rib this weekend. I had even chatted with them on the reservation app and they made no mention of this. We could have gone somewhere else had we known in advanced. Our server was relatively nice too.

Ironically, we had just been talking about how great it would be if they offered a brunch menu, so it felt like perfect timing! We decided to give it a try and were seated right away. We couldn't decide what to order, so we ended up getting three dishes for the two of us--the fajita omelet, the Denver omelet, and the biscuits and gravy. We also ordered a spicy Bloody Mary, which was delicious. The standout? The biscuits and gravy. The first bite had my husband blurting out, "Oh f***... this is good!" Honestly, that pretty much summed it up. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. If you're looking for a great brunch spot in Lodi, this is definitely worth checking out. The fries were definitely a highlight--served hot, crispy, and perfectly paired with the bleu cheese. My husband was really impressed with the fish and chips, which he hadn't tried here before.
