Definitely casual vibes here but that's what we were looking for. Our server, Jesse (easy to remember because that's my husband's name LOL), was great and we didn't have too long of a wait for anything. Limited selection of alcoholic beverages. I got a bottled Space Dust and my husband is a cider drinker but they didn't have any, so he also went with a beer. They do also have some liquor options. If you're a milkshake fanatic, we saw a milkshake menu that had to have at least 30 options on it! We weren't starving so we decided to split the fish tacos and it was the perfect amount. The tacos were good and were a generous size. We loved the sauce that they had it topped with, definitely pulled the entire dish together. Our son got some chicken strips and naturally, he loved them. We tried them and they were good - plus the ranch they have is BOMB. Very dilly, and really good! I think the only negative thing I really noticed was that the restaurant didn't feel the cleanest (observations from bathroom + flies) but could just have been an off day. Stopped in on a Tuesday afternoon. Our 1st time. Staff was friendly. Outside dining space wasn't too inviting. It is a small outdoor seating area, but between the outside noise and the table arrangements and wobbly table it just wasn't in an inviting space to dine. We moved inside. What was really bothering was the amount of time it took to get a BLTA sandwich. At least 40 min plus maybe 50 min! Only 2 other tables with guests inside. I thought they forgot about our order and I went to check on it and the gal working the counter said it was coming. Well a good 10-15 min after she said it was coming it finally showed up. My mom and I shared a BLTA sandwich so it was nice that they split it on two plates for us. We also ordered fries with it. Sandwich was good, other than lacking on the bacon (unless the other half got all the bacon), and fries were hot. Staff was pleasant. Only complaint is it seemed to take forever for dine-in on such a simple order. If I would've been on my lunch break, I would've been late to get back to work. Would like to try again but don't want to wait so long. Who knows maybe they were filling door dash orders, but I would like to believe that dine in patients would take priority. read more

We went in to order a to go order to watch the concert in the park across from the restaurant. If you are an owner or manager of a restaurant and an event will be happening not a block away from your business, you should be prepared for this. The young girl taking the orders (perhaps in High School) was kind but was confused. She asked if I knew much about giving change back. The man in front of us total was 34.29. He gave her $100.00 bill. I tried to help her but the bigger problem in the till there was only quarters and no fives or ones. The person in charge asked about the confusion and basically pushed the girl aside. The rude person in charge rounded up the change and demanded the girl to return the change to the man and the man tipped her with a $20.00 seeing how upset she was. The person in charge took our order with quickly and barely acknowledged us rushing us through. It was not the younger's girls fault for not having petty cash to count back. This is the second time I have gone here and NEVER AGAIN. I own my own restaurant business and would not treat my employees like this young girl was. I also would be prepared for the crowd it took over 45 minutes to get our overcooked hamburger with rock hard onion rings. Not returning and I live in Puyallup. read more

It was soooo YUMMEH! The lemon was so refreshing, but the lavender was the perfect complimentary flavor. l fell enough in love with this shake, I made my beau jealous. But if I liked the shake, I had LOVE for the burger. It had bacon, an egg (and the egg was runny) Oh, and the fries were very lightly breaded, which made them so unabashedly crisp that I had a serious mouthgasm! Came here after my grandson's graduation at the fairgrounds with a large group (family). It was 30 minutes before we were served water and even then we had to ask for it. Another 20 minutes went by before our orders were taken another 45 minutes before we got food. There were only two people serving, I don't know how many in the kitchen. It was a little busy. Breakfast is served all day along with many board specials. We each decided on a burger, the Drive-in with fries and the hubby had the Smoked Gouda Bacon and egg burger. Each were cooked as ordered although a bit of seasoning on the meat would have pushed these burgers up a notch. Not your oooey-gooey dripping burgers but good just the same. We've eaten here once before and as great as the food was, the service was unfortunately lackluster. Called to place a to-go order and after waiting on hold for 10 minutes, I decided to hang up and call back. No answer on the 3 call attempts. So, in the car we go. One person behind the counter and two in the kitchen/dishwasher station. I was asked if it was for here and I said that I was the one that was on hold. "Ohh, yeah" was the response. I order the burger/fries/milkshake special for my son and we're told 15-20 minutes. I'm writing this review 40 minutes later and they are closing in 15 or so minutes. I see people being sat after I got here and they have their food. "Sorry, the kitchen is busy" was the communication I got after the 20 minute timeframe I initially received. I enjoyed the experience both times, but I can say it definitely appears they are having staffing challenges that possibly stem from Covid-19. There was one lovely gal that was taking care of every table on a busy Sunday around brunch time. She did a great job considering she was being pulled in a million directions at the same time, and she maintained a positive attitude throughout. My husband and I were visiting Washington for the week. Our stop here was for our first breakfast in the state. We arrived at 9:50 a.m and strolled in not realizing the restaurant didn't open until 10 am. That seemed a little odd for breakfast to just start, but we aren't familiar with the area to know if there is a reason behind that decision. When the doors officially opened, we chose our table. Washington state is using QR scan menus so customers are not touching the menus. There is limited seating. I believe around 8 tables roughly inside . Although we were the first in, the rest of the tables filled up quickly. The food here was by far the best breakfast we had on our entire trip. We talked about our omelettes the whole vacation as it set the bar high from the start. We both opted for the veggie omelette and added ham. The veggies were sauteed perfectly, everything was extremely fresh (you could taste it), and the hash browns were the perfect crunch. Our meals had English muffins with them, but that is what it is. Nothing extra to add. We can't say enough about the food. It was drool worthy. The time it took the food to come out for breakfast was a little longer than expected, but after tasting our food didn't care much anymore. I had some leftover I ate while staring at Mount Rainier. The only con was that no coffee had been made and prepared at the opening of the restaurant for the breakfast crowd so that took time to brew. If you are in the area, I HIGHLY suggest coming here. Based on our experience, if you are in a rush, I may opt for somewhere else. We weren't in a rush, but rather famished coming from the east coast. (1 pm our time) My guess would be all the love that goes in the food takes a little longer. You can't rush perfection. read more

I've been coming here for the past 6+ months on a fairly frequent consistency now. This place doesn't disappoint at all. Has a very welcoming atmosphere with great staff. I haven't ventured out past the two eggs and meat just yet because it truly hits the spot for dinner. Especially since this is literally the only establishment in Puyallup that isn't a Dennys to have breakfast past 3pm. I'll eventually venture into the menu farther because I consistently hear other customers complimenting the food while they partake. Really a great little spot to check out any day of the week.
