This restaurant used to be a great place for seniors to go and have decent food until they doubled their prices. They priced out a lot of seniors on fixed incomes. The food is the same but the prices are not. Soon after their prices went up and long-time customers fell, they did start offering Senior Discounts, but did not do much for a lot of the seniors mentioned. Now they are opened up for breakfast and lunch only. The clientele are much younger now. I wonder why a lot of the Veteran photos are few and far between. Humm... I recommend Cracker Barrel. This is a gem in the rough. This place is not impressive from the outside but there is a reason the parking lot is always full. The tastes great and is inexpensive. I got an order of French toast and it was wonderful. I wish they had used thicker bread for the French toast. The breakfast burrito was big but unimpressive. I have been going to this restaurant since I was a kid, growing up in Fort Worth. Unfortunately, I had a bad experience this weekend on Mother's Day celebrating my wife. We have an infant and we brought our own chair that attaches to the end of a table. When the host saw it he first asked if we needed a high chair (which sticks out in the aisle), and I said no we have our own. He said well you can't use that unless you put it inside the booth because we don't have room in the aisle. And proceeded to over explain the reason in front of all the other guests waiting, insinuating they would not seat us if we used it for our child. I explained it was actually smaller than a high chair would be and our child can try and stand up using the seat of the booth that she can't do when it's on the edge of the table putting her at risk of falling. They said they wouldn't accommodate it, so we won't be going back since they can't accommodate children and I can't recommend this as a place for young families to eat. The food isn't compelling enough to overlook this experience. read more

Eggs and chops were cooked perfectly to order. Hash browns nice and crispy outside and super soft inside. Gravy is always good. Saw this old small strip mall with a number of cars parked by a tired looking restaurant. Location is definitely nothing special but we decided to try anyway. This is most definitely a local establishment. Atmosphere very casual and friendly. Inside reminds me of the 80 time period. The restaurant was about full. The host seated us and took our drink order so we got them fairly quickly. Waitress was friendly and courteous. Came back regularly for coffee refills. I had the Western Omelette with biscuits and gravy. My spouse had the Eggs and Bacon. Food was tasty would order again. Portions were decent size and prices reasonable.
