Mushroom Swiss burger with hand breaded onion rings.

Well this is my second time around and I brought my mom with me and we decided to get breakfast.what can I say?Every thing was great. And great service again.Just an old fashioned cafe with great food and friendly staff.I look forward to coming back to try something else next time.Maybe one of those big pieces of pies I seen in the little pie case.

Need to come on a Friday!

Great service, great prices, cozy diner atmosphere. Food was fantastic. We both had chicken fried steak, eggs, and hash browns. One of the best cfs I've ever had. And the biscuit! I don't usually love biscuits but this one almost made me wish I had just ordered sausage and biscuits. We don't eat daytime meals out very often but I would come back here next time I had the chance - and I would love to come back to try the all you can eat fish Friday.

It was my brother and I first time here and it was delicious!!! Our server was kind, helpful in answering questions, and friendly. The ambiance was pleasant and the scenery was great. The Food: SO GOOD! My fried chicken fried was perfect. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was grateful for what I did receive. Not too fried and the chicken itself was perfect! My brother enjoyed his bacon and eggs along with some hash browns. He enjoyed the eggs so much, we ended up ordering a side of eggs. Everything was great. AND, for my coffee lovers, they had FRENCH VANILLA creamers A perfect spot for breakfast or brunch! If I'm in town again, I'll definitely return. Good job to the staff! May God continue to bless this business.

Very comfortable, friendly diner, typical breakfast selections, good prices, comfortable, nicely decorated. My kind of diner, unpretentious, good food and good service and good coffee is a winner in my book.

This was my first time coming here. I brought my mom here. She was with me after dropping off my pet at the crematorium. My dog had passed away the night before and I was definitely in an upset mood. Thisestablishment and the atmosphere and the waitress who helped us raise my vibe and really brought my spirits up. Our waitress went out of her way to help us and she was doing a really good job with everyone around. You could tell that she knew her stuff and she was a pro. All of the food was very delicious and hit the spot. My mom and I were both very satisfied and we're happy that we stopped at this place. I'll definitely be back here for some more of this good home cooked food.

This is a great place to grab some brunch. Shirley was a great waitress, & the food was yummy! I thought I was hungry, but there was enough food to take home lol They also serve lunch & dinner, & I would love to come by again when where in the area.

Biscuit and gravy that came on the side with my breakfast combo of eggs, sausage & pancake

Great breakfast! JaDonn (aka Jay) took great care of us - and she has a great sense of humor! Pancakes are plate-size, you only need one - and they come with real butter and warm syrup!!! Eggs and sausage were delicious and my combo came with a biscuit too, for which I had no room! Jay gave me a box. We would definitely eat here again when in town. Thanks!

The service was great the food was Delicious cook to order the pancakes are huge if and when I return to Dallas I would definitely go back.

Salmon patty with two sides of beans

I got the salmon patties. I was hoping they would be lightly fried, but they're deep fried also got a side of the beans which were warm to cook and warmer. It's an OK place in my truck return

We started with the scone, it was alright- edges a made it seem a little dry but the middle was cooked perfect. Flavor was alright- wouldn't order it again though. I had the garden bowl which the veggies were in seasoned and flavorless- making it only edible when adding cholula. 2/5 The breakfast burrito with mushroom and green chili sauce was my fav! 5/5 for me. chiliquillies were good, layered like a lasagna, tortillas were a little soggy but the added tortilla strips on top gave it the texture it needed this one was a 4/5 for me. the basil lemonade and seasonal watermelon mojito were both very refreshing and 5/5! Would love to see one of these pop up in the austin area and would definitely go back if i'm ever near one again.

I ordered the wood-smoked salmon, and unfortunately, it was disappointing. The presentation was very plain, the portion size was small, and the salmon itself was quite bland. I think the dish would really benefit from more seasoning and at least one additional side. For the price, I expected a larger portion and much more flavor. On a positive note, the drinks and appetizers were delicious and definitely the highlight of our meal. While the service was excellent, I hope the restaurant considers improving the flavor and value of the salmon entrée.

However, this restaurant charges a service fee for the use of a debit card. After doing some research, I have found and I quote, " Texas law prohibits debit‑card surcharges Texas Business & Commerce Code 604A bans a business from adding a fee because you used a debit card." Visa, Mastercard, and Discover all prohibit surcharges on any debit transaction -- even if the restaurant runs it as "credit." So even if Texas didn't ban it, the restaurant would still be violating its merchant agreement. In summary using a credit card and being charged a service fee is one thing but as you can see using a debit card i a different avenue.

I got the Gravy Train, which came with buttermilk biscuits smothered in country sausage gravy like smotheredddd! It was served with hash browns and two sunny-side-up eggs. It was such a comforting, hearty meal and definitely filled me up. Then I tried the chicken fried steak with eggs, which was another big and satisfying dish. It also came with same sausage gravy, hash browns, and eggs (I went with sunny side up again). AST but not the least, I tried the farmhouse biscuit sandwich, which came on their soft and really good buttermilk biscuits, with scrambled eggs, smoked bacon, cheese, a generous side of hash browns, and a cilantro jalapeño sauce that was especially delicious. It does get pretty busy, especially on weekends, so there might be a bit of a wait but in my opinion, it's worth it. Oh and the coffee was okay...not amazing, but it did the job. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely come back to try more items from their menu.

They had the flags from the different countries hanging from the ceilings, a nice touch for the futbol crowd, while the TVs had F1 qualifying on. The menu leans heavily on the breakfast side, which will definitely be something we try next time. For today, with our server Isabells' assistance we decided on lunch consisting of Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap, which was plentiful but oversalted a bit, and the Avocado Chicken Cheddar Panini, that was skimpy with the chicken and dry, also missing the cheddar? It's understandable due to the volume of traffic; we'll give breakfast a try in near future. The location works well for us.
